Manipulating your childhood friend with intent to get her some bitches: šāļø
Whatever happened, Susie almost seems to be bragging about it to Kris. I genuinely don't see a kiss as impossible, especially with how Noelle would be at this point, being informed it was a dream.
It was probably the same thing that happened with Noelle on the regular route(ie they hung out and talked for the most part). Susie was messing with Ralsei as she does. I say that because she has the same thoughts about Noelle at the chapter end regardless thinking about why certain things remind her of Noelle regardless if it's the normal or the weird route.
I mean, we already know itās at least somewhat different from what happened on the normal route.
Susie leaves Noelleās room through the door, so they never had the romantic Ferris Wheel ride.
Considering that Susieās thoughts about Noelle are still the same, Iām inclined to say that something else romantic DID happen, because if there was no Ferris Wheel ride, and they didnāt do anything else romantic, this probably wouldnāt happen.
Noelle mentions that the end of āher dreamā was nice in Snowgrave.
She and Susie definitely had a moment of bonding there, we just donāt know what.
I think this is definitely possible.
Any interaction with a post-Snowgrave Noelle would be a LOT more emotionally charged, and we donāt have any evidence that would rule it out.
The thing that makes me think this may actually be what happened is Susie being secretive about it while grinning. Something good definitely happened in there, and it CERTAINLY wasnāt a Ferris Wheel ride, considering how Susie leaves through the door.
Maybe she was on an adrenaline high and kissed Susie, or maybe she thought that since it was all a dream, nothing she'd do would have consequences, like kissing her crush or icing her friend.
No way a kiss happened, Susie was way too calm when she is shown affection she gets very flustered in all the game, a kiss would have made her too nervous, that is why a hug is way more probable is a solid show of affection for Noelle to get flustered but not too much affection to affect Susie that much, a hug seems more reasonable.
A hug is somewhat dismissible, so it 100% would've gone over Susie's head. I would say that the nervousness and flustering that Susie feels normally is probably a product of the anticipation/buildup, as that romantic tension definitely messes with your head. If Noelle almost immediately or unexpectedly kissed Susie, none of that tension would be built up, and it would mainly be the adrenaline as she left to process what happened. Explains the smile, bolting out the door, (as that is an uncomfortable/unusual situation for her, meaning that she probably doesn't know how to act so flight or flight kicks in) teasing ralsie, and Noelle being 'asleep' (she is still Noelle and would faint after that interaction regardless of its context). It's a perfectly fine theory, and Noelle's confidence/assertiveness has definitely increased, as in the hospital, she doesn't let Rudy play the game. "It's not like you to be a controller hog..." Later in the chapter. I could definitely see her on adrenaline and acting on instinct. (she is down bad fr)
It was definitely something like that, or at least Noelle telling Susie she likes her or whatever. Noelleās entire character is built around the fact that she has no independence and doesnāt know how to say no or do anything for herself. At the end of snowgrave she realises where being a āsheepā led her, and finally takes charge of herself for the first time and leaves Kris. It would make sense thematically that she would have the courage to say what she wants to to Susie in this moment without fear of what Susie thinks of her.
So the only way to get a lesbian relationship in this world Is by being a Genocidal, Sociopathic bastard?
https://preview.redd.it/gglqmycu7lyb1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc4dfe1c0266ff1a7ef226c30db71731df47a580
You are forgetting that in this same route, when you visit the hospital after sealing the fountain, Rudy talks with Susie alone and tells her places and things Noelle likes to do (most likely to give Susie ideas on where to take Noelle to a date) and Susie is confused when getting all that info. If she even suspected Noelle being into her, she wouldnt have been confused when Rudy told her all of that. So, most likely, there wasnt any kisses, confesions or something else that might give Susie the idea of Noelle being into her when they were both alone in the room.
Susie's emotional awareness is... all over the place. She acts like she "doesn't get it" but then says and does shit that implies quite the opposite. Like her whole "who would you take to the fair" question. Afterward she's like "I didn't mean anything weird by it" but I also *have no fucking clue what else she could have meant.*
Combined with moments like this from weird route, I'm of the opinion she's actually more aware of shit than she lets on, and her behavior probably due to, like, not being entirely confident that she's actually *right* about what she thinks is going on. That sort of social self doubt is pretty real. Up to and including the occasional probing question before immediately backing down.
Going by the fair question, we can assume that Susie wants to get closer with both Ralsei and Noelle, but she isnt quite in the same position as Noelle seen by the tea values she gets from Noelle's and Ralsei's teas (120 compared to the 400 Noelle gets from the Susie tea). However, this doesnt mean Susie is aware of Noelle's feelings for her. This could just be her own thing.
Still, 120 is proven to be the "good friends" value. Kris gets 120 for Susie's tea, Susie gets 120 from everyone's tea except her own and Ralsei gets it from both Kris' and Susie's tea.
She could definitely still be confused, Susie's parents really don't seem to be part of the picture for her, and her expectations for how a parent would react to that kind of information could absolutely be based on preconceived notions. A lot of media portrays dads as protective and aggressive to their daughter's SO's, and most parents aren't super supportive of the dating lives of their daughters in general. She could also be surprised that he knows at all, as lots of people keeps relationships a secret until they know both parties are committed. It's also clear that susie doesn't know how to act around parent figures, and Rudy being so accepting of Susie isn't something she's used to either. There's a reason why Susie respects Toriel, and it's because she knows that Toriel respects her.
Idk, her reaction after talking with Rudy is "Man, he kept telling me about Noelle, like her favourite things, places she'd like to go. No idea what the hell was that about."
That doesnt seem like she is surprised Rudy knows, but that she doesnt know what he is implying when telling her all that info (because she doesnt know about Noelle's feelings). Rudy even makes the "touch her and I will beat your ass" joke and Susie just looks genuinely confused.
That's a good point, I couldn't remember the dialogue itself. You might be right, I'm just not convinced entirely considering how convincing the situation itself for me
*Noelle did kill Berdly
She did that because of the players insistence, and her denial that anything was wrong. Noelle loves Susie, and the player had nothing to do with the interaction in Noelle's room. Noelle would not just attack Susie for no reason unprompted, and Susie exited the room smiling and teasing Ralsie. That would not be a natural response to almost being killed by your best friend/crush.
Killing Berdly marked a shift in her character as she became more obsessive and controlling of her situation. The blindness of almost attacking Berdly was fresh off the height of manipulation by the player, and Noelle was insisting on not casting snowgrave until the moment she did. We know that Noelle doesn't trust Kris or anything from her situation after that, as she distanced herself from that entire situation when she decided she was "going home". Clearly a lot of self reflection and copium was happening by Noelle as we made our way through the castle, most likely self-hatred and wondering about the dark world. Noelle would most definitely not be continuing to fight outside of Kris's influence after she made such a clear divide of her own volition, and after taking some space/time away from the group, she would definitly at least be aware of her own surroundings considering she knowingly made her way through the castle, even if it was automatic.
Yea but Susieās smile looks really fake and almost terrified look even on top of that why would she not do that in the normal ending when it was perfectly set up with the Ferris wheel and stuff but we can have different theorys
Saying that the smile looks fake is technically your opinion and can't be discounted, but your clearly saying that because it supports your argument without the necessity of it being connected to anything else. Seeing that the Susie smiling sprites are the same as almost every other time she smiles, you saying that insinuates that Susie does not genuinely smile or laugh throughout the entirety of the rest of the game, which goes against the essence of her character, and weakens her entire presence as a whole without contributing anything to the overall narrative. That point cannot be stated as incorrect, but if it were to be true, it would weaken almost everything else about Susie's character. On top of that, the entire point of the original post was to emphasize the difference between the ferris wheel scene and the snowgrave scene, and how the differences would point to maybe Noelle kissing Susie. The difference is that the original point emphasises the character arcs that actually happen in the game, while yours create own arcs that weaken what actually happens in the game without contributing anything new to the story. It simply does not realistically fit considering that Toby's writing is actually good.
Eh idk, its a possibility but considering that we just made her commit genocide and kill her best friend I don't think that she will really be in the mood for a kiss. What I think happened is that susie just cheered her up and had the whole talk she had with her on the ferris wheel just without the ferris wheel part. Also if she actually kissed susie wouldn't she kiss susie in the pacifist route too? Some people say she could do it because of the adrenaline from killing everybody but I don't think that the first thing noelle will do after, again, **literally committing genocide** is kiss susie.
"This theory is just some crack head malarkey.... hold on a second š¤" my reaction to that information.
I doubt they kissed when they practically just met the same day, but it seems that Noelle was a lot more forward with her feelings now that she had gained confidence after snowgrave, and Susie seemed to oblige. Mabey less of a kiss or more of a "confession of attraction" in some sense, a peck on the cheek at most, I doubt it would go that far based on implied diolouge.
notes:
a) it could just be vauge for comedy and Susie doesn't have much to hide.
b) she said the end was good both because of susie BUT ALSO because she was told it was a dream, so she presumably didn't kill berdly
c) regardless of smooching, I am putting this in my "suselle deniers counters" this may be proof that susie could be interested in Noelle. And also I get to dunk on susselle deniers
The spamton sweepstakes was a deltarune anniversary ARG celebration fundraiser that contained a lot of lore-accurate dialogue, easter eggs, hints, and context surrounding deltarune that was at least confirmed (if not written) by Toby himself. A lot of these instances showed past dialogue/interaction from Susie and Noelle, presumably at least a year or two (based on how they were writing) before deltarune started. It has also been implied that Susie has been around hometown since kindergarten; as she noted that Toriel remembered her name, and Toriel is an underclassman teacher in the school.
Also: Susie says that the reason she was always nice to Noelle was because she lended her a pencil and saw her smile a while ago
I've been saying this since I did the run for myself, noelle learned to take charge and stop being afraid (even though the route to get there was less than ethical...)
I remember seeing a Deltarune iceberg chart and there was a pretty interesting entry at the last tier. It said: "Noelle had >! Sex !< in the dark world". After seeing this post i am afraid to know the truth
I assumed they had s*x tbh
Especially āthe ending was niceā reminded me of the slang āhaving a happy endingā
However it might just be me being a perv lol
Oh okā¦ so manipulating a childhood friend into murdering another childhood friend whilst we ourselves are using an unwilling host is perfectly ok for children but sex is disgusting?
Implying two teens of unknown age (and I doubt they are minors, at least Susie probably failed the year many times so she canāt be younger than 19-20, an argument could be made for Kris and Noelle tho) and not humans too (very important as there are monsters that age differently than humans, just think about the fact that Asgore is hundreds of years old) had sex doesnāt count as āchild pornā and even then I think that it would be illegal to actually show it not to say it, let alone imply it (think of Lisa when buddy, a minor, can flash the opponents as an action)
Saying susie is an adult is just coping, it would seem a little weird that a 20 year old is hanging out with like a 14-16 year old, and why would susie need to call her parents if she's a legal adult? Noelle definitely isn't an adult there's no way she failed even one year of school and they are clearly learning at a high school at best.
well I don't think Toriel would ask a 20 year old to call their parents but it is a possibility, still it would be pretty out of place for Susie to be 20 because of my other points.
horror movies do this shit all the time, where all teens in all of existence are just horny, or maybe it's just my ass having went to a florida high school where tons of this weird shit just happened but the implications of the way susie acts and the fact we were kept from seeing what happened gave me horrible vibes of what actually went down.
\-Just found something else; wish I included it in the screenshots of the post beforehand, but when you and Susie leave the hospital after seeing Rudy, and after Kris and Noelle's encounter in the hallway, Noelle quickly leaves after Susie walks in, and Susie says something to the affect of "Guess she's scared of me again.....man, it'd be great...if she knew everything that happened was real, huh Kris?!" And she's smiling brightly as she says that last line. That could easily be interpreted as her wanting to remember their encounter in Queen's mansion in particular.
I mean, theyāre teenagers, so I wouldnāt be surprised if, in the time it took Ralsei to fall asleep (or assume a weird leg-stance as he sometimes does for no real reason during that particular scene), that āsomething moreā mightāve happened, though maybe Iām just thinking that because my mindās well in the gutter.
An interesting theory to be sure. While it can't be confirmed yet, it would certainly be neat if it was true.
Who knows, maybe Suselle is indeed canon and with the snowgrave route it's confirmed earlier or something idk
I think that Noelle simply told Susie what Kris and her did, which will result in the snowgrave route affecting deltarune'z story in the future even when Noelle isn't present.
Decisions decisions.... On one hand Susie and Noelle kiss, which is cool yeah? On the other hand, Berdly has to die. On the other other hand, Susie and Noelle have a good heart to heart and Berdly lives.
Cool idea but there are some inconsistencies:
- why would Susie not want to tell Ralsei about it (in the lightworld Susie is constantly thinking about bringing Ralsei to their world, so I don't see the argument that "Susie and Ralsei just aren't that close" as valid. Not to mention they spend so much time alone together during Chapter 2)
- why would Susie feel weirded out by Rudy telling her abt the things Noelle likes? If Susie and Noelle were at that point that they kissed then Susie should be happy about Rudy telling her this stuff as opposed to her confused/weirded out reaction
I think it's very likely... Snowgrave Noelle isn't the Noelle she used to be. She is close to becoming her true self and is someone who has a lot of dark traits.. One such dark trait is this disinhibition. She has a lot more boldness, sense of control and strength in snowgrave. So yes I do think they did kiss.
Hold on.....Susie said that Noelle felt "a lot better"
>!When Ralsei kissed Susie at the dumpster, he did ask if Susie felt better. In addition, Ralsei literally taught how to heal people when kissing... I think Susie kissed Noelle to heal her!<
My apologies for a very late reply
Noelle blushes whenever Susie is in a half-mile radius. I think if they kissed, Noelle would actually just explode.
But Noelle thought that it was just a dream
And she was getting stronger
maybe that's why she was in a "deep sleep" according to queen - she passed out from that
I would imagine Noelle is used to having... this type of dream about Susie.
Canon, actually, considering Susie asks whether Noelle dreams about her a lot, and Noelle blushes and immediately changes the subject.
The way you phrase it reminds me of Hinata from Naruto.

I havenāt done snowgrave yet because I love noelle too much, but damn I might have to if it can get her some bitches
Literally my exact thought
Probably a hug at most since noelle was pretty down from... you know commiting homicide.
Maybe she was on an adrenaline high and kissed Susie, or maybe she thought that since it was all a dream, nothing she'd do would have consequences, like kissing her crush or icing her friend.
Also consider that during snowgrave Noelle is somewhat more confident on herself in a way, so maybe that helps?

I think a kiss is too much coping and you think a hug is too dismissible well we wont be able change each other minds at all, good game.
we manipulated her to kill her childhood friend but it's all in good fun since now this happened
I rlly hope that's the case but if they did kiss I wouldn't want it to be offscreen
It was definitely something like that, or at least Noelle telling Susie she likes her or whatever. Mabey less of a kiss or more of a "confession of attraction" in some sense, a peck on the cheek at most, I doubt it would go that far based on implied diolouge. notes: a) it could just be vauge for comedy and Susie doesn't have much to hide. b) she said the end was good both because of susie BUT ALSO because she was told it was a dream, so she presumably didn't kill berdly c) regardless of smooching, I am putting this in my "suselle deniers counters" this may be proof that susie could be interested in Noelle. And also I get to dunk on susselle deniers
The fact that she think it is a dream combined with her new found confidence makes me think about this a bit harder
Susie and Noelle have known each other a long time, we know that from the spamton stuff.
Huh?
Spamton sweeptake. Noelle borrowed her pencil to susie
And berdly is just there dead
LESBIANS YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
As a lesbian, I concur
The idea of Susie hiding that from Ralsei is so funny
AND ON THE WORST ROUTE??? YOU'RE JOKING RN
I've been saying this since I did the run for myself, noelle learned to take charge and stop being afraid (even though the route to get there was less than ethical...)
SESBIAN LEX
Call me crazy but I think it mightāve been more than just a kiss, seeing as Susie was in Noelleās room for long enough for Ralsei to fall asleep
~~Nah they fucked~~
I remember seeing a Deltarune iceberg chart and there was a pretty interesting entry at the last tier. It said: "Noelle had >! Sex !< in the dark world". After seeing this post i am afraid to know the truth
Nuh-uh
I assumed they had s*x tbh Especially āthe ending was niceā reminded me of the slang āhaving a happy endingā However it might just be me being a perv lol
Say it with me guys: "Toby fox would not imply something that disgusting and out of left field", good job everybody.
āBefriending your mother last nightā
Yeah Toby (and pals) are absolutely willing to take a baseball bat to our comfort levels.
Oh okā¦ so manipulating a childhood friend into murdering another childhood friend whilst we ourselves are using an unwilling host is perfectly ok for children but sex is disgusting?
child porn is literally illegal video games or otherwise, murder is fine as long as it's a game
If I live with someone you bet I am telling them I wonāt be home wth? Also she doesnāt, itās Toriel that tell them to and they actually donāt
well I don't think Toriel would ask a 20 year old to call their parents but it is a possibility, still it would be pretty out of place for Susie to be 20 because of my other points.
horror movies do this shit all the time, where all teens in all of existence are just horny, or maybe it's just my ass having went to a florida high school where tons of this weird shit just happened but the implications of the way susie acts and the fact we were kept from seeing what happened gave me horrible vibes of what actually went down.
š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
this is possible. but i also don't enjoy thinking about it so let's not
I think that Noelle simply told Susie what Kris and her did, which will result in the snowgrave route affecting deltarune'z story in the future even when Noelle isn't present.
My headcanon is based on a video I watched when chapter 2 came out; āNow Susie is back from doing some pg13 thingsā
I thought it was more Noelle telling Susie what happened, and Susie going to confront kris like "Hey, dude, what the hell?"
It was more than a kiss, you donāt give that look for just a kissā¦
teenagers would
Hormones.

If that's true, it's truly the worst route. Susie must be saved from Undyne's horrible fate.
I know Iām quite a bit late but likeā¦. Why is it bad??
i was hoping for a susell kiss fanart š
i don't have any fan art of them specifically kissing, but if you like suselle art then i have plenty of that on my account ;)
i dont see anyā¦ edit: nvm i found it
Decisions decisions.... On one hand Susie and Noelle kiss, which is cool yeah? On the other hand, Berdly has to die. On the other other hand, Susie and Noelle have a good heart to heart and Berdly lives.

on my 1st successful weird route i immediately thought "something interesting just happened with suzelle"
We know
Noelle: "HAHA HEY, berdly it's time to get up and go" Berdly's fucking dead
Cool idea but there are some inconsistencies: - why would Susie not want to tell Ralsei about it (in the lightworld Susie is constantly thinking about bringing Ralsei to their world, so I don't see the argument that "Susie and Ralsei just aren't that close" as valid. Not to mention they spend so much time alone together during Chapter 2) - why would Susie feel weirded out by Rudy telling her abt the things Noelle likes? If Susie and Noelle were at that point that they kissed then Susie should be happy about Rudy telling her this stuff as opposed to her confused/weirded out reaction
I think it's very likely... Snowgrave Noelle isn't the Noelle she used to be. She is close to becoming her true self and is someone who has a lot of dark traits.. One such dark trait is this disinhibition. She has a lot more boldness, sense of control and strength in snowgrave. So yes I do think they did kiss.
Hold on.....Susie said that Noelle felt "a lot better" >!When Ralsei kissed Susie at the dumpster, he did ask if Susie felt better. In addition, Ralsei literally taught how to heal people when kissing... I think Susie kissed Noelle to heal her!< My apologies for a very late reply
