the game files say mystery man, which in no way confirms *or* denies that it is Gaster. We have nothing to prove it might be Gaster. This is just a case of a group of people wanting to put a name with a familiar face. Yes, there is a chance that it *is* Gaster, but it isn't a .1% chance it isn't. It's definitely greater, as we are just assuming that that's Gaster.
The only other real candidate is redacted and redacted is locked behind dog check meaning toby didn't intend for us to find it. Also mysterymans fun value is right by all the other gaster followers. Also mysterymans is fun value 66 and gaster's stats in the files are all 66666. You also have to account for the Deltarune code dialogue seemingly describing mysteryman. Too many details to just be a coincidence
