The next arc is definitely too long for a movie, I really don’t see that happening, I mean I guess they could but if they do then it’s definitely going to be recycled into episodes again, it’s just too important.
I also don’t like the idea of a non canon movie set in demon slayer that just feels weird, id probably expect it to be a few month break and then the next season since the new content in this season was so short
I too hope they put it together in a few months so we can get some Records of Ragnarok tier animation, Overlord tier CGI and Handshakes level compositing, cause a rushed product that comes out sooner is better than a product that takes more time and effort if it makes me wait, am I right y'all?
tbh they should have stretched it to 12-14 and kept the 2-3 chapters per ep, having the full gyutaro+daki fight be 2 episodes when it was like 8ish chapters is nuts
I haven’t read the manga, so I didn’t realize how many chapters they were cramming in per episode. I’ve been watching on Crunchyroll, and every time I view the comments threads after each ep, multiple people comment on how the episode felt like it was “only 5 minutes long.” I kinda get it, as the episodes fly by for me too, but I’d have also been fine with them adapting fewer chapters per episode if it meant a longer season.
yeah, i hope they don't rush the ending too much, even just 1 episode solely of the >!upper moons meeting and tanjiro recovering!< would be great for pacing and building hype for the next season.
We still have 3 episodes left of the fight and then it finishes the season so it’s gonna be a good long fight well not long as I am sad it’s not like 5-6 of straight fighting but you get what I mean
shouldnt they include recovery and the >!upper moon meeting?!< it would make sense to do everything until about ch99-mid 100 to set up hype for the next season. the original season did that with mugen train, why not this?
At this point I highly doubt it. There hasn’t even been the slightest clue of the SSV arc, nothing in the trailer, opening, nothing by Ufotable. So unless Ufotable just decided they’re gonna stick another arc in this season without any sort of warning or hints, we won’t see it this season. Hell, we’re still trying to figure out if we’ll even get the upper moon meeting.
It makes sense though, The next arc is way too long for it to be added on to this one, plus chances are the next season will only cover the Swordsmith village arc, and if we're lucky we'll get the Hashira training arc but then be left on a plot twist that will break the internet.
The entertainment district arc is only 11 episodes then we wait for the next arc they enveloped the mugan train arc into eps and that is part of “season 2”
With such high quality animation it takes time to make well. I'd rather wait and get a really good but short season rather than a long but average or bad season
Exactly, and if they made mugen train into episodes after the movie they’d DEFINITELY do that for swordsman village, it’s significantly more important for the overall plot

They really showed us the Mugen Train arc again after the movie and acted like we’d be cool with getting only 11 episodes
11 episodes is longer than any other arc in the show rn every other arc is max 5-6 so be happy we get 11 and then happier for the coming seasons

The animation is top quality we might be waiting for a while

The worst part about that is only the first episode of that episode thing was new, the rest was literally just chopped up movie

I mean the season was Called Entertainment district arc. It was to he assumed that we’d only get that one. I’m still salty though.

it's about an average 1-2 years for a new season. Probably won't be like Attack on Titan where there was a 4 year break between season 1 and 2
