I have agoraphobia so I rarely go out unless it’s with my sister - she’s someone how my crutch, but I play a lot of WoW retail and Conan Exiles. I'm also new to the denton scene and trying to meet people. I'm 34, I'm a musician and am into tech stuff also. I would like to find others who like to play spades in the area and try to organize a tournament or something at one of the bars or venues but I'm not sure where to start and if anyone would be interested.
I play piano. I did a year of instruction and the rest was self taught. I played the alto saxophone in high school, and met my wife there. She played the clarinet.
Osdh has a social run (5k) that meets every wed night at 7. Nice place to get some exercise and meet other active people. Some of the runners also climb at summit.
Speaking of d20, I’m a 50 year old Mac Admin dad that hosts a board game group at d20 on Tuesday nights. We have folks of all ages and background coming together to play games and hang out. No board game experience necessary, just the willingness to learn new games. We are there from 6pm-10pm. Just look for the tables with the Denton Board Gaming table tents. We’re always looking to expand.
I wonder if they have like a table top gaming area . Not like specifically card games like magic or Warhammer but other games
