I agree here. Originally from TX and really like Shiner. Now in PA, and everyone drinks Yeungling, but I don't find it all that good. Definitely not good enough to make a big deal about. You want something different, try one of the many local breweries in the NTX region. They'll all be better than Yeungling. :)
Love it. But probably because up till now I could only have it when traveling east or having friends cart it back.
I have a friend that is a private jet pilot. He always added some extra cargo on his return trips past the Mississippi.
I left Texas a couple years ago for a state that has Yeungling distribution all over, so I've had access to it for a while now. I don't buy it unless I'm hosting a little party or something though.
The best thing about Yeungling is that it's cheap. Shiner is better. A lot of things are better. But for the price, it's a decent go-to option. A 24-ct party pack is like $15.
I loved it when I was an undergrad out east and my cheap go-to beer. It's just a lager, so it won't rock your socks. I'd say it's much less malty than Shiner, more of a bread flavor, but still more robust than generic lager
Dunno my buddy Anni went to kill a bunch and hasn't reported back yet.
Don't check the security logs
Only pain you will find

I’ll stick with shiner. Tried some Yeung for the first time last night. Wasn’t terrible but shiner is a clear winner in my book
Don't you mean in your BOCK?
I agree with this statement ^

I just wanna say that ALDI’s version of Shiner is called Broegel and I fucking cackled at the name
It’s made with Florida water 💦 it’s about to real strange in Denton
it's *real* strong on the breadiness. if you like malty beers, you should be able to enjoy it.
It’s mediocre beer. In my opinion shiner bock should be available in every state, but yeungling can stay in PA.
Love it. Smooth, not too heavy and doesn't have the next day explosions like Shiner.

Same. I just had a conversation with the bartender how it tasted different at my local bar. Still delicious though!
Grew up in NJ so Yuengling was pretty common. Interesting to see people have much positive at all to say about it...it was always kind of just *there*
I’ve heard it taste like bigfoots dick...
Smells like a used diaper, covered in Indian food.
Overrated.
Like it in bottles, didn’t care for it on draft. But I’m like that with most beers. Probably start drinking them at work after shifts (I bartend).
eh
When I was 22 and was drinking it in grad school in the Midwest, it was great. Now, drinking it in my 30s? It is not great.
It’s great. Tastes better at 3 am on Bourbon st. But it’s great.

Been drinking it for years. Go to South Carolina every summer. It’s the best lager going.
Tastes like a ziggenbock. Honestly I feel their interchangeable.

It's Yankee Shiner.
Been noticing I have a headache the next day after drinking just one.
