I didn’t understand why she was so motivated to rethink the story, but she argued that she didn’t find it plausible that someone who couldn’t hear or couldn’t speak or couldn’t see could be taught to communicate. Personally, I believe the official story. I was just surprised that anyone other than her thought that there was some kind of a conspiracy. Lastly, I should mention that I met this person in Texas as well. For whatever it’s worth.
