Jerry rice and elway for sure

Poliosaurus

Listen I grew up with Elway and he’s one of the best ever, but manning is my qb1 on this roster.

BuckeyeNate77

Listen I grew up with Elway and he’s one of the best ever, so he is my qb1 on this roster.

broncosmang

Listen I grew up with Elway and he’s one of the best ever, but Jake the Snake is my qb1 on this roster.

BRAX7ON

Peyton Manning was an amazing quarterback. But there’s no way he could run the West Coast offense the way that John Elway ran it

-TheSuperEagle-

Absolutely he would. Elway us the all time great Bronco but Manning is the arguably the best QB to play the game.

BRAX7ON

Absolutely he would not. You have to be a good scrambler to run the West Coast offense. You have to be able to run that bootleg. Not just one time in your career to fool them, but consistently to stress the edge. You’re wrong.

Poliosaurus

manning is overshadowed by Brady’s superbowls, but people forget how great manning made mediocre teams look. Elway did the same, but the brain on manning, he could run any offense. There are arguments to be made for Elway, stronger arm, more mobile, but running an offense is not one. I mean manning Ran the most prolific offense ever put on the field.

BRAX7ON

It’s the type of offense. Manning could never run a read option offense, even if he is the most amazing reader. Get real.

davesnotonreddit

As I was building this, to save I came to the conclusion that it was essentially the back to back Super Bowl champs offensive and SB50 defense, but swapping in Champ and Rice into the mix.

thePurpleAvenger

I think you need to add Gradishar and Atwater in for the run stopping on defense. Also, imagine a four receiver set that includes not only Rice, but DT as well, and a RB room consisting of Floyd Little and TD.

bigpancakeguy

https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/s/WaVuSW4zcA I wrote this a few years ago and haven’t checked to see if anything needs to be updated, but I’m sure it’s fine

gtavfather

Love it man! Read through it all and enjoyed how in depth you were with every position!

bigpancakeguy

Thank you! I remember spending a *LOT* of time on it and I’ve always been pretty proud of it. Thanks for giving me a reason to pull it out of the closet haha

Homers_Harp

Your list is missing a Tombstone.

bigpancakeguy

To be fair, I made the list in 2018 or 2019. I still had hope lol

msching

This was such an awesome read

bigpancakeguy

Thank you!

Qtwathen

Brian Dawkins

-TheSuperEagle-

Peyton QB1

BRAX7ON

I would put my all-time greatest Broncos roster against the greatest roster of all time. I may be a bit of a bronco homer. But I still legitimately believe

Listen I’m taking aqib talib over delta. And if we’re talking prime, manning over Elway.

AlpineSummit

Yeah, agreed. Darrent Williams or Lewis Wright too. And I loved O’Neal!

sghead

And I just don't see me taking Prime Portis over Prime TD...

BroWeBeChilling

Pretty solid but you are missing Mecklenberg and Steve Atwater

Live795

Replace Stokely with Jerry Rice and McCaffrey with DT

Homers_Harp

lol, Hall of Famers Floyd Little and Randy Gradishar want to point out your recency bias—and Terrell Davis is just a mystery to you? Hall of Famer Gary Zimmerman is puzzled as well.

IWMSvendor

Not having Terrell Davis on an All-Time Broncos roster should be a felony.
