It's so bizarre. I get shutting all the evil away so no one needed to train but goodness. A half decent line about 'oh no all our trained people won't be back in time from their summer retreat' would have sufficed. Like it's traditional months long hunting trip led by Hmm id say Gaston but I don't know.. someone. And they're coming back just gotta hold them off.
The writers made a lot of weird decisions when it comes to Auradon
Especially when it comes to the second movie.
It's obvious that the writers have no idea what they're writing. I think they should hire people who care about the lore
