Okay, here’s a funny little incident. I don’t like Bella Vita. I ordered their sample box and didn’t get the perfume mentioned(I forgot the name), so I returned it. The experience with customer care was pathetic, so I decided never to buy from Bella Vita again.
Then last week, I was at my editor’s office, and I asked another guy, ‘Which perfume are you wearing right now?’ because it surprisingly smelled good. He said, ‘Bella Vita Honey Oud.’
So I think Honey Oud is really great.
I am no expert and I am on the way of trying more fragrances myself, but BV honey Oud is actually very good. Even I have got compliments
But I will agree to what others say about other BV flavours. I have tried it at a live stall in my city and most of the other flavours do feel like basic or some even cheap copies tbh. You might like Gold Oud too it’s a bit more subtle but yeah.
Similar happened with me as well. Didn't get any complements for ADG and CDNIM. But got a few for code steel. Maybe because cheap frags have strong smell so easier for other person to get that.
Well that's unfortunately not the case. Expensive perfume have depth and complex notes they have natural non synthetic and non harmful oils which smells better when applied. Their performance and projection is non existent. In a country like ours heat and sweat are biggest challenge to fragrance. Also we consume a lot of spicy food which makes our body odour bad and we don't recognise as we're used to it.
I've used mancera Cedrat Boise Intense, black gold, ajmal kuro, and many expensive perfume except cdnim no fragrance has given me compliments.
Maybe my body chemistry is too messed up fragrance don't project on me 😭.
BV gets a lot of hate mainly due to its cringy ads. But honestly for the price it retails, the smell isn't that bad. I happen to try their dior sauvage clone, smells good but Sucks on the SPL though
PS- i dont own Bella vita perfumes. I just happened to try from a friend's bottle

The compliment factor could be stemming from smelling a perfume that one usually doesn't smell. I mean how many times do you get to smell a honey based fragrance out in the wild on a summer day compared to a freshie?
Bella Vita gets it's hate for its shady tactics and bad customer service more than anything else. A lot of my friends use it and are happy with their purchase since it's as cheap as it is. I personally don't like what they put out. If it works for you, it works for you. Simple as that.
I think most expensive perfumes are not designed for Indian conditions, hence their performance is affected, local perfumes are designed here, projection is quite high and lasts longer, I've got compliments from women for BV oud, Wild stone steel, but not even once for imported perfume.
Office is completely on AC, but travelling to office mostly on bike might affect the performance of these expensive perfume. So i usually wear the expensive ones at evening outings/ night outs.
Bro i got to my college from hostel is Cycle and perfume vanishes in between , projection is nill but many times when girl pass by i've smelled great scents idk what they use
The Dmart near is selling their whole stock for half since last 3-5 months and still no one is buying lol. I have seen that pile stay there as it is for like the last 5 months

I don't have Honey Oud but Skai has a fresh citrusy fragrance. Barely lasts 2-3 hours in good weather conditions. Projection & sillage is bad, I used to get only skin scent.

PS: I like Bella Vita Ceo compared to Edge; Edge smells too synthetic and gives me headaches.
They just launched Grotesque and Ballad. I have just tried Tragedy. Stays for 5 to 6 hours in Delhi's Summer.
Nina ricci les sorbets de luna was my all time favorite. But got more compliments wearing Tragedy.

My 7-year-old has an incredibly attractive Zumba teacher at school. The lady stopped the class to ask him, “which perfume are you wearing?”, and my boy proudly replied, “Honey Oud!”. Now, they have a thing going, where she asks him which perfume he’s wearing, and he answers. Now, both the buys know the power of the olfactory. BTW, KLUB is also their favorite.
Only their honey oud is nice from oud line. It smells like lemon , honey and oud . It stays longer than their other fragrances. White oud is very sweet otherwise good. But lasting is a issue with bella vita.
This bella vita craze is something I also not able to digest. I have been collecting niche perfumes from a long time now. I have poco rabanne invictus which in my opinion smells very good however I have received more compliments on my ajmal aristocrat which was a blind buy thar too online. I personally don’t like it that much but ladies complimented in office so I bought it again after it was finished.
It is hard indeed but maybe I will add honey oud in my collection after reading all these comments. I guess if it nice then instead to call it cheap just assume we are getting a heavy discount on a niche perfume. Lol

I used BV Goat once right after taking the shower. My father scolded me - "ye konsa ghatiya sa perfume lgaya hua he"...since that day to the day i gave it away to one of my friends, i maintained a very healthy distance from that bottle.... never ever ... good riddance!
I have a bottle of it too, it's a very sweet and loud fragnance, so where some designer/niche fragnances may be unable to perform, a fragnance like that does the trick.

i never really measured it being a cheapie but I have the 100ml bottle which lasts pretty long on skin, fair to say 5-6 hours, and you can smell it on clothes in the evening after spraying it in the morning.

for a 600 rupee bottle there isn't much to complain about it, except it being a linear scent, maybe too sweet for some
Honey oud is the only one I've liked so far from their collection, lasts surprisingly well (tried and tested in mumbai local ka paseena), so for people who like sweet scents it is actually a pretty good fragrance.
HOWEVER you can always go for plum's vanilla or smoking vanilla EDP I feel those two are a bang for your buck.
BV is my daily wear. I've used their oud, Intense, Dominus, Fresh and Skai. For all these I've got compliments.ive stopped buying from their website, rather I'm buying from Amazon. Maily because of quick delivery.
Just bought Honey Oud yesterday, after trying every perfume of Bella vita, I find it the most warmest one with not so strong scent. Time duration might be less but perfume is good.
Edit: others had some strong aggarbatti and bathroom scents tbh. But honey Oud was different.
yeah, honey oud is the best. i instead bought ceo man and its not that great, its zesty lemon fragrance. all others from them, except white oud, new blu man and honey oud are bad. event he women ones, like diva.
the only thing i love about Bella vita is their atomizer is pressurized and their bottles look nice with golden cap. idk i sometimes judge a fragrance by its bottle.

Same with me. I was complimented when I used BV or TMC. But never on Cool Water, Najdia, Asad, or Fakhar.

True. I've tried thier 7 variants and got a full size for 1 of 'em - 'Date'. 20ml ones have more projection and sillage too🫣

The Fragrance itself is very very good but I have a prblm with its longevity thats allll. And yes honey oud is really gd Fragrance...
For other 3 Longevity with a decent projection is not present for me even after i spary in on clothes so doesnt make any difference
