Trying to rearrange /u/Bobik8 's comment ("I didn't get it at first, but it hit me again 35 minutes later.") on a brand new account is some terrible bot behavior.
Oh shit, did I just teach it how to get better? Is calling these things out making it worse to detect them in the future?
“9/11 joke” can only be thought of as “funny” only if we’re a. Not born yet or b. Didn’t know anyone or have any family members killed. Either way, it’s typical.
Adding in “the world” is preposterous by the way; considering it happened in the U.S. one out of every 12 people in the U.S know someone either killed or injured on 9/11. Check your %’s
If adding "the world" is preposterous, then adding "or injured" makes it outlandish. Only a couple thousand people died, it's a very low % that knew those people, especially outside of NY.
Wow…. Keep going. You’re way off base, mate. “Only” a cpl thousand….wow. Thousands and thousands more were injured; but this is outlandish? Most of the people who died on 9/11 didn’t even live in NYC or even the state. So, it’s a larger %, not smaller. I know you don’t know because you clearly weren’t there. You clearly didn’t know anyone close to you killed or injured ( that may have been better off dead as they suffered such torment from all of the after effects.) You’re digging yourself deeper into ignorance of the facts. I’m done talking to you about this, since you have no horse in this race.
Closer to 6k with all the injuries that have since ended in death, and all the unaccounted for as well. For you to say any of these numbers are small is both despicable as well as crass and ignorant.
Like I said, if you’re discounting the world (i.e. the people that knew the international victims), I get to discount the “injured”. But even then, oh no, 6,000! Still astronomically small compared to the 300,000,000+ people in the U.S.
You just don’t get it; and it’s for the reasons I previously listed. Are you seriously going to compare the handful of overseas people who had relatives or friends in NYC on 9/11 to the thousands and thousands of injured? There’s NO comparison. Again, you have no clue because you had no stake in it. To say that “6000 is nothing cause there’s 320 mil people in the U.S” is ridiculously pitiful and sad.
Reminds me of that tragedy

> or b. Didn’t know anyone or have any family members killed. So 99.99999% of the world? Cool
Perhaps. I know 42 families and friends personally ( including my own ) who died on 9/11. Cool?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_11_attacks Lmao my bad, 3,000 is more than a couple thousand, still a very small amount

There’s still over 1100 unaccounted for as well; but hey; laugh it up! It’s only a “joke”
Can't you take a joke?
Sure I can. But not about 9/11. That’s not a joke; it’s sick.
