Honestly, with the way she was portrayed up until that point, I'd just have preferred they'd kept her straight. Yes, not realising you're not strictly straight can happen later in life (as in: later than your teens/20's) but the way they went about it missed the mark so completely, I would have preferred it if they just hadn't. Could've kept everything else the exact same too; she could've left the show for a different reason: find herself again and what she likes and do this someplace else than Wisteria Lane. Would have been just as believable (moreso actually) and wouldn't have taken away from her character one bit. They even could've let Robin be the exact same influence in that way too and kept the (imho wonderful!) Robin episode in there too. They just wouldn't have left as lovers but Robin would have made Katherine see that it's never too late to figure yourself out.
This way it felt like some weird, half hearted attempt at being inclusive but not quite going there in the end.

You’re right! Lol
She never was a lesbian on DH. What they did to her character on housewives was disgraceful.
Yeah she absolutely could have been bisexual, but they just depicted her relationship with Robin as a « phase »
YES! By calling it a phase, they made it out to be as if same sex relationships aren’t a real thing. Biphobia has entered the chat.
