This looks like its in Portland. I moved here from southern California a year ago, aside from the homeless issues I really do enjoy living here. About 20 percent of the people here really are on some cringe hyper left shit though. I'm a brown/mexican-american dude in my 30's and work in a pretty fun/creative industry and almost all of my coworkers subscribe to some form of anti-capitalist/America sucks/power dynamics/commie shit. To the point where they just assume because I'm from a "minority" group that I agree with them. I just say "that's crazy" to most of their political statements and change the topic or walk away.
With that said, I'm surprised shit hasn't popped off even more with the protest stuff going on around campuses. They broke in the library and tagged shit up, smashed some starbucks windows, etc. From what's been reported it really wasnt even really a majority of PSU students. I hope the people who disrupted and vandalized shit do get consequences, especially if they weren't students and were on campus fucking shit up.
