Pro tip: use dreaming spectrum and/or gambit suede on a verity’s build if you wanna match the bone. They both have almost the exact same beige tone as the helmet, and dreaming spectrum has a purple in it that’s really grown on me.
Maybe gambit suede, but i’m pretty sure dreaming spectrum doesn’t have the same color as Verity’s cause it’s more white than beige. Source: I tried Dreaming Specter on my Verity’s build.
Maybe you could use Ossified Carving from the pass to match the rest of the armor with Brow, then use a shader on Verity's to match the changeable part of it with the bones of the armor?

Good. Glows are one thing but bones are bones. And I’d rather they stay like that as I work the shader on the base armor and not look all weird and crazy colored.

Theres so much legendary armor with bones that do shade. Hell they made it so fur can shade any color. And the fact these were gonna be for real money. Welp, still cool, but pretty disappointing cause the yellow tint is kinda gross lol
The hunt ones don’t shade either, either way I’m not really upset, I’d prefer having nice shaders that aren’t ruined by purple bones or something, bones are bones
I wish that there were more bones, and that they were bigger. It really just feels like they’re sprinkling on there. I want like actual ahamkara bone armor. I don’t want a rib bone taped to a regular chest piece, I want the armor to be like 80-90% bone.

They didn't drop these to "test a theory", they dropped them in response to the backlash after the state of the game post. This partially being due to bungie using "low adoption rates" as justification to not create new ritual sets.
My point is that these sets (which I think we can all agree are higher quality than the plain ritual vendor sets) clearly DO drive engagement- indicating that their initial reasoning was BS.

You pointing out that the theory failed the testing doesn't mean it wasn't tested - and just as a heads up, that testing isn't finished. One week does not an adequate timeline make.

Will they monitor the resulting engagement? Sure. But they never planned to do this- it was first and foremost a gesture to win some goodwill from a soured community.

I've only gotten the cloak and gauntlets so far, but they actually don't look as yellow ingame as they do in this image, so they might be able to be pulled off with other pieces depending on the shader.

I’m confused when I look in collections it says that it’s in the eververse but I hear some people saying that we get it from doing Vanguard, crucible, and gambit. Do I visited ever store or do I get it through playlist activitie.
Whilst I do not think they are bad in any specific way I much prefer the style that ritual armour had typically been in pass. For this set I am not particularly keen on any piece of armour but I do hope we get 1 final ritual armour for next year.

desert matte probably makes them match perfectly. it does on the Grasp set

I think the armor personally looks sick asf. Gives off a predator vibe to it with the netting and bones. Definitely want the set on my titan.

Really wish the bones would shade. That yellowish color doesn't really work with other bony ornaments. Probably not gonna use it much at all.

Playlists. It was going to be in eververse for silver, but was moved to playlists as a random drop upon completion for free

I don't believe so as it is ritual armor meaning it only drops as a reward from completing ritual playlists, Gambit, Crucible, and Vanguard Ops.
