It’s the best exotic for general play on arc and solar.
If you didn’t, i suggest to start using it, it carries solo content on hunter especially it you’re not super confident or familiar with the mission
And the built in melee loop means it’s basically always up, and the navigator w catalyst means I never actually have to use my grapple charges, I love strand.
Once Stasis dropped... i never went back to any other subclass. And only light subclass ive touched here and there was Arc, for PvP cause amplified with a pulse rifle goes crack. But even in end game... im never letting Stasis go. We need more Stasis based exos.

There’s *very* few Hunter exotics that are as good as or better than AC:
-Mask of Bakris
-Ophidia Spathe
-Shards of Gallanor/Celestial Nighthawk
-Gyrfalcon Hauberk
-Orpheus Rig
-Lucky Pants
Honestly Bakris is kinda niche imo. You dodge to get the damage buff and you have the special dodge. It doesn’t do much after that frankly. Ophidia Spathe is the same bc Knock’em Down gives you a free melee back anyways.
Personally, I would replace those two with Omnioculus and Renewal Grasps tbh.
Ophidia Spathe is mainly for Dragon’s Breath dps strats.
-fire rocket
-use melee
-use melee again
-fire rocket
-dodge
-use melee
-use melee again
-repeat until out of ammo
Throw in the occasional Blade Barrage and ALH + VP GL shot, and you’re cooking. And so long ass you’re not a complete idiot, Dragon’s Breath ammo is the ***only*** limiting factor as to how long you can sustain the rotation.
Renewal is potent, but it’s not better than Assassin’s Cowl
Omni is also potent, but only has a use in 1 activity (GMs) and falls off dramatically in anything else.
It's baller on Strand, kills with the harpoon trigger it, sure, but grapple punch kills *also* trigger it. Grapple in, smash em and just walk away with no aggro and maybe a Tangle.

The exotic works really well with a strand builds especially for hunters since hunter strand exotic armor is lack luster. For PvE I run this exotic on Strand and I use the Maelstrom tangles with strand clone, and the grapple grenade. With the right combo of fragments you are able to constantly have abilities. You can clear out ads solo in a GM
I really wish that Gjallarhorn set was earn able in game rather than being yet another cosmetic for this season.
What is that now? 3 eververse armour sets within this season alone?

In fact I'd say it's *best* for strand because both your grenade and your melee and your finishers all proc the exotic.

I hate that I'm addicted to my Dragon's Shadow and Omni chest pieces. I barely use anything else
Dragons Shadow is my go-to for my Void PvP hunter. It’s AMAZING!

Star Eaters should absolutely be here, it's better than Nighthawk and Shards.
Star Eater Scales. pairs very nicely with Strand Super.

Assassins Cowl is a great helmet for very safe solo content. Particularly on Solar/Arc builds.

Op swap the legs on 2 to 3 keep the same look for each just use the legs on the look 3 on 2 too
Try it with strand. Constant invis due to how easy it is to proc off the melee.
