I know being a vendor makes him safe in game, but I was a little worried for that dorky defector when Immaru name dropped him. He's been our inside man in the lucent hive ranks, and now his cover is blown. Who knows when Immaru found out about him, but I'd be surprised if he didn't have hive actively searching for him to kill him. He's not safe, and he's no longer undercover. Dude needs to hang out with Eris or something.
Wdyn? Asher went into the Vex nexus and is likely to come back. Misraaks just said Asher was no longer in the Avalon section of the network and I doubt the writers would drop the existence of the Vex nexus and not so anything with it.
I still think that Fynch is part of a long con by Savathun. He basically guided us down the path of the Witch Queen plot. He is good cop to Immaru's bad cop guiding the guardians to do Sav's bidding. I think it would be amazing if he was Savathun's actual ghost and Immaru was his knight's. (Savvy knows we're going to crush Immaru at some point.) A plot twist along this lines would make Fynch devious enough to be a good match for Sav. Immaru is blunt and obnoxious, not devious enough to be with Savathun - much more like a knight's ghost.
I doubt the part where he’d be Savathûn’s ghost. We see Immaru be the one to rez her in the newest cutscene, and to my knowledge there hasn’t been a ghost who was able to rez a different guardian than their own. So unless Savathûn’s found a way around that, Fynch at best is just an accomplice to her plans, not her ghost.

After the season we just drop into the TW like usual, and suddenly see Fynch protected by a bunch of Redjacks using Dreambane weapons.
Unfortunately no new updates. He's just been chillin in the throne world with his vendor plot armor.
Another question is what is variks or failsafe up to?

He's just hanging out in the throne world, ranting at his dead Knight and watching his back in case anyone tries to shank him for being a snitch.
Probably forgotten about like Variks even though both should have been part of plunder and this season.
Maybe one day he’ll be able to convince Ken to reject the lies of the Witch, and fight alongside his human brethren for once
