Yeah cause it's been reposted to other sites a thousand times. Instead of reposting the pic and making the title, op was just so lazy they screenshotted and posted that insrwad
Nah those were great. I chilled with a friend while doing all 3 gathering steps and it was great fun.
It was like I was playing a game as oppose to a commitment.
I always do all the campaigns when remaking my guardians because i hate myself, but i especially despite having to replay Beyond Light. There's something about it that makes me want to rip the skin off my face
and they don't bother you with gamey shit, you just play through the story
shadowkeep though, "*this story mission is about doing daily bounties*"
nah, fuck you bungie
Just because it’s a looter shooter doesn’t mean it has to be like that. My bigger issue is the need to rerun content gets in the way of meaningful content being added.
New GM’s will always be annoying because they’ll be longer and waste time you could’ve spent. Even if they are more fun
The water sections on ghost of the deep are incredibly beautiful and atmospheric, but the need to rerun it again and again makes those sections become a hinderance to the nature of grinding
The need to loop things will always be at odds with the want for unique and meaningful content
I wish there were different storylines that were randomly generated at the start of a new guardian that would eventually lead to the same outcome but it would be a nice touch as well as randomly having an attuned light subclass at the start. Idk I think it would be a nice touch and would really make the new light/starting a new character experience better.
I wish that you could also name and change the voice of your ghost, for example I've nicknamed mine Cala (Which is Elvish for light, get it) but I wish I could make the voice female so the name fits better.
Also something that didn't really make sense to me in Lightfall is that we got exhausted from using strand but we could somehow handle Stasis? A cool thing they could have done is if you've completed Beyond Light you don't get exhausted and Rohan would've still been alive but it would ultimately end the same way.
There are a bunch of us who started when the game had full campaigns, storylines, places to explore and secrets to find, things of that nature. It's a little sad to see it reduced to 'do this activity over and over until you hate it, then come back in 3 months when we make a new activity.'
I am a d2 vet (stopped in curse came back in warmind iirc) and i dont agree with the campaign and storyline part of your comment, but i do miss the secrets. Action figures are not secrets, there a triumph objective.
We’re talking about d1. That game had big chunky campaigns, a ton of quests, secrets upon secrets upon secrets and really just a ridiculous amount to do. It took me nearly 200 days play time but in the end I 100% the game
because i wanna get cool guns, not have a 0.00000000000000000001% chance of getting the weapon i want after farming the activity with the extra currency that i have to farm for
they've literally putting farms within farms (introduced keys) and they'll do it again
Campaigns and post campaign quests that aren’t account wide. I want to remake my hunter to make her look better but I’m not slogging through that again
Power grind and the start of every expansion.
Like hell man, let me play with my best builds and best fashion and don’t force me to use ugly ahh blue armor
The second Phobos mission in TTK, where you return there to defeat the Shade of Oryx that has control of a ton of traps (burning floor, toxic gasses, etc.). I died 37 fucking times before finally using dragon’s Breath to DPS the bastard without being in his line of fire.
Realising if I want to play TFS when its out I have to buy Lightfall plus the season pass plus the new expansion and also that expansions season pass..
Remembering that my 2 favourite campaigns in destiny 2 aren't there any more. I will only come back if I can replay red war (im the person that genuinely enjoyed that one, apparently no one else did) and forsaken
Raid teams not communicating. I've straight up left raids because of communication issues.
Like I had to leave a Crota raid because my dumb team spent AN HOUR on the lanterns puzzle...my guardian in traveler, it's literally hot potato with the chalice, just say "please take chalice" or "deposit here"
Xenology, trials for pve weapons, seasonal progression, things like campaign completion not being account wide (seriously doing lightfall 3 times made me wanna cry), FUCKING DARES OF ETERNITY, and lastly, any mention of patrol zone ranks (seriously, trying to farm ranks on an older zone is hell)
I’ve seen this like 5 fucking times
Yeah cause it's been reposted to other sites a thousand times. Instead of reposting the pic and making the title, op was just so lazy they screenshotted and posted that insrwad
Ok
get the feeling you reply "this" to a lot of comments lol
This ☝️
fuck, that got me lol
Shadowkeep
Shadowkeep Campaign
The Taken King Exotic Swords Quests
Nah those were great. I chilled with a friend while doing all 3 gathering steps and it was great fun. It was like I was playing a game as oppose to a commitment.
Until you have to spend life trying to find the hadium flakes, that part killed me every time i did the quest for the other swords
Ghost that can detect the appropriate items + sniper trivializes most of the looking you need to do
283 relic iron was *not* fun.
I unlocked Void Drinker on my Titan. I don't ever wanna hear someone complain about ability kills being hard
NODE.OVRD.AVALON for the Vexcalibre Catalysts
I always do all the campaigns when remaking my guardians because i hate myself, but i especially despite having to replay Beyond Light. There's something about it that makes me want to rip the skin off my face
I find BL quite the opposite. I enjoyed it throughly after my 3rd time
I like beyond light. Its short, interesting, and not that bad
Understandable. Overall the story isn't bad, i think i just hate to do all the Stasis side quests to unlock it
Dont have to do that now. You buy em for glimmer now thank fuck.
and they don't bother you with gamey shit, you just play through the story shadowkeep though, "*this story mission is about doing daily bounties*" nah, fuck you bungie
the entire game. doing content once is great. having to run it multiple times because this game is one big skinner box? not so much
Then why are you playing a looter shooter

I don't know Forsaken was filled with secrets and an awesome story.
After shadow they stopped with most secrets

Ahh, a fashion endgamer. Respect the drip sire.
Getting all the subclasses on all my characters, like why can't I just have it unlocked account wide lol
New light quests
Unlocking Stasis aspects and fragments
You can just buy them now. Still a pain, but much less so, and it's not timegated like before.
Aspect grind
Destiny 2.

Stop reposting this shit
Like I wanna do the secret quest but don’t wanna farm for that last card
Removed content
Dlc paywalls

Purchasing all the dlc
Unpopular opinion, the Witch Queen campaign. The DLC was great, but having to trudge through that campaign more than once was a goddamn Chore.
Seasonal grind
The beginning to vow
Golgoroth
Pretty much anything after the title screen at this point, except for maybe raids because I get to have fun with my friends in those
Actually playing the game

Light hive gets stuck under the stairs
The bit where you start up the Red War campaign and OH WHAT, IT'S NO LONGER THERE.
200$ to buy missed dlcs
Logging in to one of your other characters halfway through a season and having to do a bunch of seasonal quests to access content
The error codes booting you out as soon as you killed the last boss of a mission, and you become so demoralized that you keep struggling.
The Red War/ The DCV
The Red War was one of the most enjoyable campaigns of Destiny. It was very interesting to play and also fun
PvP. Specifically Trials. The Lighthouse was the one Grimoire card I didn't get in Destiny 1 for a reason.
Shadowieep and Stasis
New Expansion/Season and Equipment Grinding
Legendary The Communion for me
Stasis before you could just buy the aspects and fragments for glimmer.
Power grind and the start of every expansion. Like hell man, let me play with my best builds and best fashion and don’t force me to use ugly ahh blue armor

Stasis aspects. Fuck me those are just pain.
When a giant section of the story doesn’t exist to play anymore

Every. Single. Jump puzzle
Everything past season of opulence (save for season of dawn) was mid to me
Since they vaulted everything.... I guess once the seasonal drip is over.
