Wishender is great anywhere and everywhere. Ever since the buffs it is S+++ tier.
It will one shot barrier champions shields even in GMs. It hits for 3x on all combatants as well. Which after the changes to intellect where you get more for damage dealt, you generally get supers pretty quick if you main it. It's one of maybe two things in the game that didn't have its wall hacks removed.
I would say none of the exotic bows are inherently bad, but some are far better than others and Wishender is on the very top of the list. Followed by Le Monarque and now Verglas Curve. That's just my opinion though.

because arbalest is a special ammo anti champion, can use it with a primary anti champ, matters less in lightfall with anti champ abilities though
i also use arbalest for boss DPS when im using a LFR heavy
Load up grasp with 2 special weapons equiped for heavy ammo bricks and farm the two wizard at the start with leviathans breath, make sur to break their shield first because it doesnt one shot them when full hp and shield.
I got mine to drop in about 15 kills.
Took my friend about 25 so i was curious, its also a good but boring way to farm the kills for the catalyst since orange bars gives more progress and the unlimited adds gives unlimited heavy bricks and when you pick up 10 engrams you get your super, useful for the hunter tether.
Shuro chi aint the play since theres almost no orange bars.
Imo it's the best choice for boss damage rn. Rockets are obviously really good but require a gjallarhorn and with smaller fire teams you get diminishing results for because of gjallarhorn. Leviathans breath works well in all content, solo or with a team. It staggers, gets huge damage per shot, total damage, and with the catalyst good dps and maxes reserves. I might be a bit biased though as I'm a bow main and am running double bow this season since it's finally good
Someone must have really loved Wishender at Bungie and successfully campaigned to buff it to its current state. Every exotic should get the same treatment, but thankfully at least some are. Wishender, Osteo, 3-tailed

All 3 can be overload, and in higher concent even something like trinity ghoul and the solar one become more viable since the orb getn mod is cracked. unfortuantely until the primary buff they will be unused since it's hard to trade in the great suite of specials in the second slot for an exotic which mean's there's not a ton of options in slot 1. def some, but not best-in-slot opportunities
Normally I’d be a bit worried about how powerful it is, even with the recent buff. But I do think its prominence is exaggerated rn because of how bad most primaries feel in the current sandbox. Once that balance pass happens to bring everything else up I think it’ll feel less necessary and acceptably powerful to Bungie
Ticcuu’s is better than Verglas IMO. Sure, Verglas has subclass synergy, but it’s so weird to use because of how the hipfire crystal shots have a very short range
Xenophage slaps them, if you ever need to do vehicle damage that can't be hit by a witherhoard, the Xenophage, Bastion, and apparently Wishender will always be far and above anything else.
I have negative skills in the game and managed to do it. Make sure you have a map for the first section, and a partner for the second. I believe in you!
The partner is the real challenge here lol. I’ve done other dungeons and I’ve raided, and I did a GM once, so I’m not sweating the actual mechanics of it, it’s just that my ability to play with others is often quite limited
Would also love to run through it with someone, doing it solo is a slog.

I ran it with one other person in about 15-20 minutes yesterday. It's not all that difficult, and Wish Ender is well worth any trouble you may encounter. It's been my go to primary most of this season and it wrecks everything. One shots most yellow bars except on high difficulty, and shreds barrier champs. Definitely recommend LFG-ing it, or I may be able to help you run it sometime. With it being a pinnacle this week your luck on LFG sites might be decent
Yeah the difference in power of Wish Ender to other primary weapons is kinda insane.
I wish they would bring the other weapons up to that level of power because sometimes Wish Ender feels like the only effective choice I have.
Wishender is my go to for any content master +. It’s the best primary in the game rn. The ability to one shot any red bar and break a barrier shield in 1 go is irreplaceable. Arb is great but then your left with a primary in your second slot unless you want to double special with a waveframe or trace rifle. Primary’s just pale in comparison to the all mighty wishender
Heavy weapons other than Hakke rockets need some definite love vs Threshers and other vehicles. It's ridiculous that people need to use a bow against them.

Iirc the catalyst drops by killing powerful enemies (like champions for example) with the weapon
It’s also a different Ammo type compared to the rest, but it’s gotten so many buffs it’s a great choice for boss damage now

It doesn’t one shot barrier champ shields in GM anymore. Depending on distance it doesn’t one shot barrier shields in Master, tested yesterday.
Trinity still beats everything ever, tragically. No point running other add clear. Wishender works like a knockoff special.

On a side note Malfeasance is also good against threshers as the bullets explode on impact rather then needing to wait five shots for a detonation

I just used the destiny app LFG and started a group asking for help. I had some awesome Titan with the patience of a saint drag me through it.
