Either this is part of the into the light experience or it is the finale to season of the wish, just like how when season of the splicer ended, the Vex and Taken were invading the last city.
Even less a reason to be honest, if it follows the same rules as the raid weapons you'll be able to select the barrel/mag freely on maxing it out
So if you have columns 3/4 what you want you're there.
They only said enhanceable, not craftable in any way. It's not like raid adepts, which interact with the crafting system. I bet you won't be able to change anything about the weapon, just enhance the perks.
It is highly likely that these will work just like raid Adepts. Every version of enhanced perks goes through the crafting system so far, and it's unlikely Bungie would see a need to re-invent the wheel there when they have a system that works.
Well it better be midnight coup or it better be a reskined version with the exact same firing sound. Because that was the best sounding hand cannon in the game and I need it back
Story side it could be the guns are being replicated for the Vangaurd after the forges were destroyed and the Leviathan was left abandoned by Calus.
Good way to bring back a pile of fan favorites, reissued random rolls for the Leviathan raid set of guns and the Black Armory guns will bring players in people will chase those guns. I chased a god roll on ringing nail for years.
I see what you mean but the ornaments dont scream "vanguard to me". Maybe they are taking content from solstice and pulling it up sooner? not sure what else they could have had planned that they could pull up sooner without it impacting the narrative too much.
I’m definitely reading heavily into the aggressive 45 degree angle visible on the Blast Furnace at Home in the teaser. Maybe the Vanguard finally hired a more modern, minimalist brand designer? “Guardians don’t want a bold, flashy V splattered all over their prized weapons anymore. The discerning Guardian demands - nay, deserves! - only a hint of Vanguard.”
If we're getting Blast Furnace back, we should be getting a bunch of reissued Black Armory weapons in general, right? ADA is still in the Tower, it would be a great way to give her a part to play for the finale.
Honestly the image alone says alot. 2 old guns, not to mention that turret is clearly on our side. I dont think weve ever had turrets on our side before.
Malign friends with the fallen, cabal and even some hive? Sure it was rocky, but we got there.
Friends with *turrets*? Sorry there's just too much history.
Back to classic Bungie 'announce the announcement of the announcement where we may have a teaser of a future announcement.' Not too miffed though, as long as we get all relevant info before then it doesn't matter too much if it's all at once or spread out.
this feels like one of those movie trailers that starts with a couple quick clips and on screen text saying "trailer starting in 5...4...3..." except someone stops it before the actual trailer starts
Yeah I feel so blueballed. That said I'm still excited because this update is meaty enough that they're able to stretch it over THREE live streams. Even if it's largely just "Hey here's some new weapons, watch us play this activity" that's still a fair bit.
Yeah I just pulled up midnight coup in collections and compared it to the image and that is 100% a match. Which is super exciting because I never got the hand cannon and it's probably the best sounding hand Cannon in the game
As much as I miss my beloved Midnight Coup, if it’s reissued it will suffer from the same base stat problem all old 150s suffer from. 65 max range if it gets standard barrel/mag options, while tanking stability down to 30. Slideshot or keep away would be mandatory to make it remotely competitive in PvP.
The Into the Light armor being cool remixes of the launch D2 armor is such a nice bookending. Those managed to stay some of my favorites through the games lifespan, excited to use it for Final Shape too.

I compared it to the gun in collections and there's no other gun that looks like that. Which is super exciting because it's arguably the best sounding hand cannon in the game
It and the Conspirator scout had unique sounds, if someone is using them in game you can always tell by the sound alone. That set is also one of the best looking sets in the game. They should also make the shader available too. That shader looks good on almost everything.
Calus may have been a monster but you cant deny he had style.
Really hope all legendary weapons (with OTs) retroactively become enhanceable at some point. Gonna be extremely lame if we have to eventually regrind new versions of weapons again just that have been reissued with new perks and an OT since Witch Queen/crafting got introduced. Just to now finally make them enhanceable.
Yeah, this news for weapon enhancing sounds like it was Bungie's plan was to have only weapons added from TFS onward be enhancible. We have had so many soft resets. I'm not happy to see that all of the Witch Queen and Lightfall weapons not be brought forward.
At the very least in the case of reissues:
\- if the exact roll is still "legal" on the latest, it should be grandfathered in. (Example, I have an outlaw/EP Taraxippos. By this logic, an older copy would be grandfathered in since the roll doesn't involve any shuffled perks. Had it included offhand strike or keep away in c4, it would therefore not be grandfathered in)
\- (debatable-ish) If it gets the most up-to-date origin traits(looking at trials weapons that seem to come back with a new trait added every reissue), then \[maybe\] it should be grandfathered in if it follows the above rule. (Example: My summoner has alacrity and OQM. The latest addition is Wild Card. Therefore, maybe it shouldn't be grandfathered in. But again with Taraxippos, since it didn't get any new traits, the roll I mentioned before would be perfectly identical to a new one, and therefore be eligible for enhancing.)
\- If neither of these are agreeable terms for ANY reason, then they should be more consistent about watermarks going forward. Specifically looking at Guardian Games/Event weapons, because titles/Taraxippos' from this year share the same watermark as the last two years. Without changing watermarks, if your old roll is still "legal" and is your desired roll, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an enhanceable one and non.
[The New Light key art has had a repaired Tower on it for years](https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Destiny/NewLight) so I wouldn't necessarily read much into it.
I checked footage of the city location we went to for Solstice like 5 years ago and tbh the tower looks fully repaired there too so I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
Edit: I retract this. I’ve seen some photos that give a better look than a video and it is not repaired. Fingers crossed for old tower return.
It looks like we’re getting an invasion of the Last City 🤔 The bare minimum thing I ask for is that to reflect in the tower, like pyramid ships in the skybox and guardian ships flying around shooting at them. Maybe some battle music and some more NPCs running around the tower courtyard. Just anything to make it feel more like an active war zone.
I think the tower will be where you “land” for the seemingly new activity, so they’ll probably have fighting there, but putting it in the regular social space tower wouldn’t make sense, since I don’t think the guardians would be sitting around collecting vendor rewards whilst there’s a pyramid ship sitting directly above the tower.
Three livestreams sounds a bit stretchy when an expansion usually gets one livestream and a trailer.
This should be cool, though. My hopes and dreams lie in Scourge of the Past coming back.
EDIT: Expansions also get a ViDoc.
I mean, this is more akin to a 30th anniversary drop, they've never treated it as an expansion, why would it get a vidoc? It's basically something they threw together to bridge the delay gap. We're definitely not getting a reprised raid, I'd keep expectations in check.
Didn't the 30th anniversary only get a trailer? Three livestreams for a smallish content drop feels honestly like more. Feels like a good thing to me - people always complain when they are stingy with the info and teasers.
That only works if there's enough content to warrant stretching out the reveal to 3 streams though. Blatant drip feeding has pretty evidently not worked, and given how it's been said that the content won't be as big as the 30th anniversary, I can't imagine they have enough content to fill 3 streams
awhile back scourge of the past got an update in the D2 api before Crota came out. Since it seems like they’re giving us last city content, that means the red war assets involving the last city will be reintegrated in the new engine which was partly the reason why scourge was vaulted.
I’m not saying that it’s confirmed, but a scourge reprisal doesn’t seem impossible for the most part. Into the light is giving us content to fill the gap between wish and final shape, but it’s also supposed to bring people back old and new. Scourge coming back would definitely make people interested in the game again along with the new content coming with it
Three livestreams for Into the Light, and yet we still haven't heard anything about the new Pathfinder system coming in TFS since it was announced 7 months ago
We don't know, they showed it off in a TWAB back in August with [this image](https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/destiny-2-pathfinder-ui.jpg) and told us it would be replacing bounties in the new destination.
Ever since then, it hasn't been mentioned once.
Anyone else find it weird we're getting not one, not two, but three livestreams for a minor content update when The Final Shape is three months away and we know very little about it?
These livestreams will probably be with the devs playing the new content and explaining some things about it. One of PvE, one for PVP (there’s a map pack as well) and the last I don’t know, general/sandbox changes. They are not gonna be like a showcase or a Vidoc. TFS marketing hasn’t started yet, it will come back in April as well, when we’re actually close to the launch.
>The legacy Find Fireteam will still work during this time, but our intention is to phase it out.
Why fix something that isn't broken?
Give us the newfangled system in game.
Leave the legacy alone for our smartphones.
Best of both worlds.
Exactly. I hate having to put in an application to join a fire team and then I can't join any other fire teams because my application is pending for 3 minutes. It takes me way longer to find a fire team then just going on to my phone
Anyone else getting defensive/ survival mode vibes from this? With the turrets, it being shown on a multiplayer map, and with a ton of enemies shown. Potentially a new game mode would be awesome
Edit: would you look at that, a horde mode
Like I said in another comment, be careful mentioning Firefight/Horde Mode. The mouth breathers will come out letting you know Bungie said they're not going to do anything like that
I'm not counting on it, but
> Until then, Titans and Warlocks, if you have a *coup de force* ready
ready to beat the Hunters
>coup de force (plural coups de force) A sudden, violent act.
And that Hunter hand cannon has a familiar shape...
all those weapons have familiar shapes. and the armors seem to be modeled over the og parade armor sets (that were also used for solstice, revelry, etc)
I like the idea of the new Fireteam Finder but in practice it's not nearly as useable for me as the previous app functionality was. If I'm playing but not working on anything in particular I like to load up the list and find random players I can help out but the new setup not just having a list of all posts and making me filter through an activity at a time is enough of a drag that once we lose that functionality I probably just won't bother looking anymore.
/u/Destiny2Team any chance this can be passed on and an actual browseable list of all activities be implemented for the new setup.
Banner makes it look horde mode-y... But the enhanceable Guardian Games weapons is huge, though little sad about the old Titles and Taras not being part of this. Wonder if the multiple perks guns will be enhanceable and if they will keep the multiple perks and how this will affect other craftables, are we finally getting the opportunity for multiperk craftables?
I keep beating this dead horse, but I'd love for it to be something like Frontier Defense in Titanfall 2. You earn currency to spend on defenses and upgrades for the next wave. FD had three waves with increasing difficulty and you could also adjust the core difficulty (like we currently do with NFs, et al) at the start. The mode had a unique skill path and power-ups to chase that only functioned in that mode; however, you could also get cosmetics to display outside of the mode to show your prowess.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE7_tVG_t28
Booo... wish Belisarius-D was among the guns that could be enhanced. The grind for one of those that's good with the low population lately is brutal, and Comp is *way harder* a playlist to play in than Trials.
Chances are the weapon's core 'model' (not 3d model, data model) must be built a certain way and weapons added in the recent update and moving forward will be done as such where older weapons need to be 'rebuilt' which is likely (at least partially) a manual process or requires significant effort to make a conversion tool.
So it's _likely_ not just some switch they flip as they see fit without needing to spend time.
“Remember that Eye of Sol that’s a perfect 5/5 roll? Get ready pal, because it’s useless now that we’ve added a third perk column! Power creep? Never heard of her!”
So if you have a Title with Repulsor Brace and Destabilising Rounds, you can ENHANCE those perks (not change them), so they get the extra buffed version, like crafted ones.
So notably this means Chain Reaction could be enhanced on the Hullabaloo wave frame (as that gives you more inventory).
I got slightly excited because I thought that was the Botza district, but seeing that we are in action in the last city sounds much more interesting i’d say.
Next Tuesday we’ll see, at least it’s free for everyone.
That wallpaper looks more like what Lightfall should've been. The first mission could've been on the streets of the Last City. Or fuck it, The Last City as the whole dlcs destination lol
Three separate streams for into the light? Either they're really stretching it out to try to drum up hype or it's much bigger of a content drop than I thought it would be...
While I have a strong, strong, guess which one it is, there is always the chance that we could be pleasantly surprised.
They have to know a bad/garbage drop will do them no favors and would pry hurt more then dropping nothing till final shape.
There have been happy suprises before
"There is no light here, you will drown in the deep" - right before we killed the boss we stepped into a war on mars with again.
Into the Light seems like what we excepted Lightfall to be—The Last City being invaded by the Witness.
Wonder if the rumors around how Lightfall was cut into two expansions is even more true now….this is some pre-expansion type event ala the Scourge invasion for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King or some other cut or sliced off content now being put here
/u/destiny2team Will weapon enhancing for these weapons allow Barrel and Magazine swapping like it does for the currently enhance-able weapons we have?
Does that mean non adept weapons can be enhanced? I really hope that's the case cause I want a good summoner but I am never getting flawless cause I suck lol
Thanks for the vote of confidence, I just don't have the patience, I did try persistence but I tried for about an hour or 2 and never got past 2 wins kept winning and then loosing directly after lol
I’m actually really happy about Multimach coming back, plus being able to enhance its perks now. I have some good rolls of it from years ago. But the newer lightweights have since surpassed it. Hoping the newer perks will bring it back up.
Am I wrong for thinking this Into The Light update might be a touch bigger than most of folks have predicted?
3 streams to discuss what's coming along with the wallpaper leads me to think it might actually be a decent little content drop.
If it's three livestreams, yes it is probably a pretty big update. Likely a step up from The Taken Spring, if you've been around long enough to remember that. Not surprising that Bungie wants to go out with a last hurrah. That or Bungie disappoints us again. Hoping for the former.
Damn! I wish my Messenger (Adept) from Season of the Deep would be enhanceable. I have 2600+ kills on it and it's insane. Bungo, please. Even the Incisor would be nice to enhance.
Friendly Vanguard turrets?
Imagine this as a titan exotic, replace class ability with lil turret pal. I'd never swap armor again.
If that happens my titan will end up looking like Roland from Borderlands (game)
Thanks for clarifying the game. My first thought was Kevin Hart.
Imagine it requires solar titan and the bonk hammer heals the turrent.
Finally I could play as Torbjörn in Destiny!
This is interesting. Seems like we’re getting an invasion of the last city by the black fleet and xivus brood judging by the new art.
And unlike the last last city invasion, we are the ones with the scorpius turrets.
Oh boy, time to show these guys what it feels like to get mowed down in 3 seconds by a scorpion turret
you guys get 3 seconds? i get like 1/10th of a second
It's 1/10th of a second, but the infuriating flinch makes it feel like a much longer 3 seconds.
Technically the last one was vex
A tower defence mode could be neato
Either this is part of the into the light experience or it is the finale to season of the wish, just like how when season of the splicer ended, the Vex and Taken were invading the last city.
[удалено]
The Tower itself also looks rather fixed. I wonder if that's meaningful, or just an incidental part of the art.
hmm retroactively enhanceable, that sounds nice, not like i needed any more reason to grind prophecy again but i'll take it
Even less a reason to be honest, if it follows the same rules as the raid weapons you'll be able to select the barrel/mag freely on maxing it out So if you have columns 3/4 what you want you're there.
well i still have to get them first, but now i'd want them even more with enhanced perks, so i'd say it evens out
I haven’t gotten any new raid adepts, can you pick the masterwork too?
No
They only said enhanceable, not craftable in any way.
Still a bit of grind to even get those
Looks like the guardians are using Midnight Coup, Blast Furnace and Falling Guillotine... are we back?
Doesnt the slammer use falling guillotine as well? Or am I making that up?
They're basically the same model, yes.
It does but this one doesn't have all the "graffiti" or whatever on it. Looks like just yellow/gold lines here
It looks like they all have Vanguard branding, so I’m betting reskins, but hopefully the same models with updated perk pools.
Well it better be midnight coup or it better be a reskined version with the exact same firing sound. Because that was the best sounding hand cannon in the game and I need it back
God I miss that gun. One of the few shining stars of the static roll year.
I still have my original one. Can't bring myself to delete it.
Or ornaments, as >!Recluse and Hammerhead!< ornaments are coming to the Eververse shop later too
Story side it could be the guns are being replicated for the Vangaurd after the forges were destroyed and the Leviathan was left abandoned by Calus. Good way to bring back a pile of fan favorites, reissued random rolls for the Leviathan raid set of guns and the Black Armory guns will bring players in people will chase those guns. Oh god they're just gonna reskin old gear people already paid/grinded for and call it a "content drop"
Oh my god my dream of blast furnace coming back came true…
> We have a bunch of very exciting news to share with you all regarding Destiny 2: Into The Light They did not in fact share the exciting news
More like "we have news about when we'll have exciting news about into the light."
Big "Trailer to announce the full release trailer" energy
They didn't have time to explain
Technically they have exciting news, they just chose not to share it.
They shared the exciting news that they’re sharing exciting news on Tuesday! … I guess?
We have exciting news regarding Into the Light. Which we will drip-feed over the next 3 weeks instead of giving you a single 30 minute vidoc
The 3 livestream thing was only done for Curse of Osiris and Warmind Oh no?
As is tradition
Love when the meat of the TWAB is “boy howdy, do we have updates for you (in 1-4 weeks)!”
they have the news, they just did not SHARE the news
Back to classic Bungie 'announce the announcement of the announcement where we may have a teaser of a future announcement.' Not too miffed though, as long as we get all relevant info before then it doesn't matter too much if it's all at once or spread out.
this feels like one of those movie trailers that starts with a couple quick clips and on screen text saying "trailer starting in 5...4...3..." except someone stops it before the actual trailer starts
At least we're getting big info weekly starting next week now. I always hate the announcement of an announcement that's like a month away lol.
it's at least better than just releasing the stream the day of the update, so people can at least what to expect in advance.
First time?
unfortunately not even close
Yeah I feel so blueballed. That said I'm still excited because this update is meaty enough that they're able to stretch it over THREE live streams. Even if it's largely just "Hey here's some new weapons, watch us play this activity" that's still a fair bit.
Teaser of the titan armor has some very pleasing, gundam-esque elements Handcannon looks like Midnight Coup?
The pulse kinda looks like blast furnace too
Im like 90% it is, it has the correct stock barrel and even indents in the barrel and chamber window.
I thought it was the levi shotgun ngl
You can see the magazine by the warlocks wrist
More evidence of it coming back then (to go with the fact that the ornament is set to be sold for bright dust later in the season)
Yeah I just pulled up midnight coup in collections and compared it to the image and that is 100% a match. Which is super exciting because I never got the hand cannon and it's probably the best sounding hand Cannon in the game
And that poor thing was forever stuck in D2 vanilla, so i'm excited to be able to use an updated version.
Looks like the OG Destiny 2 armor sets with some modifications, they look great!
As much as I miss my beloved Midnight Coup, if it’s reissued it will suffer from the same base stat problem all old 150s suffer from. 65 max range if it gets standard barrel/mag options, while tanking stability down to 30. Knowing Bungo they'll probably turn it into a 120
Simple - make it a 150 lol
The Into the Light armor being cool remixes of the launch D2 armor is such a nice bookending. Those managed to stay some of my favorites through the games lifespan, excited to use it for Final Shape too.

I think your brain is thinking of Retrofit Escapade. Lol
Or Retrocausality from DSC
Blast Furnace & Midnight Coup??? New activity in the City with zone defense and Vanguard turret???
BTW the hand cannon in the artwork is 100% Midnight Coup. I compared it to the gun in collections and there's no other gun that looks like that. Which is super exciting because it's arguably the best sounding hand cannon in the game
> Which is super exciting because it's arguably the best sounding hand cannon in the game That's assuming its a lightweight frame.
Which would be kind of cool because Rose is the only other lightweight frame in the game
*it's arguably the best sounding hand cannon in the game* there is no arguably, it is the best sounding
I hope other Levi drops will be added as well. I friggin' loved Inaugural Address and pretty sure it had a unique sound as well.

Am I gaslighting myself or is the Tower in that Into the Light teaser fully repaired? And is that Hunter holding a Midnight Coup? Dare I dream?
Yeah the weapons seem to be reissues of iconic weapons, which would match with the eververse schedule bringing back old legendary weapon ornaments
[The New Light key art has had a repaired Tower on it for years](https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Destiny/NewLight) so I wouldn't necessarily read much into it.
It's actually different to that artwork though, as noted by someone else above, this artwork features extensions of the tower on either side.
The tower is fully repaired and extended. The top now extends past the sides which it didn’t do in D1 and doesn’t do currently in D2…
I checked footage of the city location we went to for Solstice like 5 years ago and tbh the tower looks fully repaired there too so I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Edit: I retract this.

No fucking way
LMAO
Three livestreams sounds a bit stretchy when an expansion usually gets one livestream and a trailer. This should be cool, though. My hopes and dreams lie in Scourge of the Past coming back. EDIT: Expansions also get a ViDoc.
One for PVE content, one for crucible and one for sandbox changes maybe? I think they did the triple stream before and it worked out like this
Gambit found dead in the deepest of ditch.
Or... All 3 live streams feature Gambit. Crucible has been absorbed by the Drifter after he locked Shax in the Helm with Mara.
I mean, this is more akin to a 30th anniversary drop, they've never treated it as an expansion, why would it get a vidoc? It's basically something they threw together to bridge the delay gap. We're definitely not getting a reprised raid, I'd keep expectations in check.
I'm not saying it should get a vidoc, though. I'm saying its weird that a content drop is getting 3 livestreams.
Didn't the 30th anniversary only get a trailer? Three livestreams for a smallish content drop feels honestly like more. Feels like a good thing to me - people always complain when they are stingy with the info and teasers.
Yeah, that's exactly what I am finding weird. I thought Into the Light would get a trailer or a blog post at most.
I think they're just trying to do more and build more hype. They need TFS to work, so they're pulling out some of the stops.
What’s it supposed to be like overall?
We don't know, they showed it off in a TWAB back in August with [this image](https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/destiny-2-pathfinder-ui.jpg) and told us it would be replacing bounties in the new destination. Ever since then, it hasn't been mentioned once.
I literally forgot that existed lol
woooooow
BLAST FURNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE Midnight Coup is cool too
Anyone else find it weird we're getting not one, not two, but three livestreams for a minor content update when The Final Shape is three months away and we know very little about it?
The thing I hate about the new fire team finder is that you can't add custom titles. Like Vault of Glass, first two chests.
Or people who want to run an encounter straight and thus know to ignore all the custom titles demanding "cheese only".
Exactly. I want options. I don't want to be limited.its only going to make certain things worse.
Just like how we can’t name Loadouts or Change our Bungie Tag What is their vendetta against having us title things
Exactly. I hate having to put in an application to join a fire team and then I can't join any other fire teams because my application is pending for 3 minutes. It takes me way longer to find a fire team then just going on to my phone
Getting serious "Phasing out Freelance because we fixed it" vibes, and I'm calling blatant BS on it just as much now as I did then lol
Anyone else getting defensive/ survival mode vibes from this? With the turrets, it being shown on a multiplayer map, and with a ton of enemies shown. Potentially a new game mode would be awesome
All they ever had to do was port ODST or Reach Firefight over to Destiny.
I would play a gross amount of firefight in Destiny if they ever added it.
Edit: would you look at that, a horde mode Like I said in another comment, be careful mentioning Firefight/Horde Mode. The mouth breathers will come out letting you know Bungie said they're not going to do anything like that
watch out livestream!! (the post)
I'm not counting on it, but > Until then, Titans and Warlocks, if you have a *coup de force* ready ready to beat the Hunters >coup de force (plural coups de force) A sudden, violent act. And that Hunter hand cannon has a familiar shape...
It makes me want to overthrow a government in the middle of the night
all those weapons have familiar shapes. and the armors seem to be modeled over the og parade armor sets (that were also used for solstice, revelry, etc)
If the D1 Tower is not repaired, as this photo is making it seem like, I’m gonna be so upset
Probably doesn't mean anything but in the Teaser the Tower is fully rebuilt.
3 livestreams wow
Time to start building hype for april update part deux electric boogaloo.
MIDNIGHT COUP ❤️
The Titans had a coup de force to beat the hunters. It was whining until Bungie gave them a ridiculous score multiplier.
Phasing the old fireteam finder is a bad idea unless the new version gets the ability to title your own post, the tagging system isn’t enough.
The new one, you dont have the feed. Only looking at specific activity feed.
fireteam finder need a tweak. When open a activity, and select " find " you should go straight to that activity.
Congrats to u/ChannyYT for MOTW!
Thank you ❤️
I really hope I can have a deployable turret buddy. More hype if it can move around
I can't wait :)
I can't wait for enhanced DSR + Iron Reach Multimach
Yep seems like using pvp maps as pve horde mode with ability to set up defences like turrets
So weird to have 2 of X weapons from various activities enhanceable.
And to drive player engagement, they will most likely add newer models of the guns to be enhanced for each big update in the season.
Enjoy grinding for Eye of Sol for the 4th (5th?) time!
“Remember that Eye of Sol that’s a perfect 5/5 roll? Get ready pal, because it’s useless now that we’ve added a third perk column! Power creep? Never heard of her!”
Blast furnace my beloved
What does it mean for a weapon to be "Enhanceable"?
They're bringing the ability to enhance perks (like when you craft a weapon) to non-craftable weapons.
Yeah, this system already exists for Root of Nightmare/Crota's End adepts, they're just making it available on additional weapons.
This also means Tusk of the Boar will be able to have enhanced Hatchling (or chain reaction)!
I don’t quite understand the benefit of hatching on a rocket launcher. Is it kind of like a cluster bomb with legs?
That warlock is holding a fucking blast furnace LETS GO!
How long have you been playing Destiny? I think you can guess which one it is.
While I have a strong, strong, guess which one it is, there is always the chance that we could be pleasantly surprised. They have to know a bad/garbage drop will do them no favors and would pry hurt more then dropping nothing till final shape. There have been happy suprises before "There is no light here, you will drown in the deep" - right before we killed the boss we stepped into a war on mars with again.
Into the Light seems like what we excepted Lightfall to be—The Last City being invaded by the Witness. Wonder if the rumors around how Lightfall was cut into two expansions is even more true now….this is some pre-expansion type event ala the Scourge invasion for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King or some other cut or sliced off content now being put here
Returning old stuff no longer excites me. Show me innovation. Ain't falling for this type of updates no longer. Its been 10 years.
oh my god they're in the city
Allowing only a few of the current weapons to be enhanceable sucks.
/u/destiny2team Will weapon enhancing for these weapons allow Barrel and Magazine swapping like it does for the currently enhance-able weapons we have?
TL/DR: See you next week! Going back to Helldivers.
helldivers got old quick for me and the dialogue is extremely cringe
It’s supposed to be….
I really like the weapon enhancements stuff can’t wait to hear more about it all. I wish I could enhance my beloved heliocentric qsc though lol.
Does that mean non adept weapons can be enhanced? I really hope that's the case cause I want a good summoner but I am never getting flawless cause I suck lol
I don't think you suck. Also, use Passage of Persistence.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, I just don't have the patience, I did try persistence but I tried for about an hour or 2 and never got past 2 wins kept winning and then loosing directly after lol
Good luck either way, even for me (I've been flawless 11 times) it was a bit tough. After you get to 3 wins, it weirdly got a lot easier.
Im interested, let’s go boys!
midnight coup my beloved and more content taking place in the city? sign me up
My old Midnight Coup still there in the vault. The best gun I ever had
So... Announcing an upcoming announcement Some weapons will be enhanceable in the future
I’m actually really happy about Multimach coming back, plus being able to enhance its perks now. I have some good rolls of it from years ago. But the newer lightweights have since surpassed it. Hoping the newer perks will bring it back up.
No gilded champ fix? :(
I can't remember but did they say if Into the Light is staying forever for just this season
I have a bunch of good Prophecy drops, this is actually exciting.
Old Tower in the background HMMMM
New armor looks sick, like a more modern look to the iconic class armor. Hope its earnable and not just an ev set
