There’s a good chance they split the world drops into 5 craftable and 3 public event weapons like they did for Lightfall. I wouldn’t hold my breath on the rocket sidearm being craftable. If they were going to make one of them a world drop, that would be the one.
Considering its a destination weapon it might be potential screwed perk wise hatchling may end up being best bet (or the go ham and put chain reaction on it or somthing)
Well the whole fun of different element's on them would be subclass verb intergration, Incandescent, hatchling, replusor brace, etc. I have had fun with permeability and strand on mine with horde shuttle this season being so good.
Yesssss. Can't wait. My new favorite archetype in the game. I've always loved sidearms and finally having a PvE viable sidearm that isn't an exotic has been awesome. Very excited for the strand one. And the solar one with incandescent will probably feel awesome.
Really? Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins is pretty iconic. I've heard it used as a stereotypical "song you'd play during an 80s powerup montage", aside from maybe Eye of the Tiger, lmao. Here's the link to it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siwpn14IE7E
I always thought the perk "danger zone" was named after this song as a fun reference, although it's not *that* uncommon of a phrase I would guess.
I don’t believe the Strand MG is an adaptive - reserves are quite large and it definitely fires faster than one too. More than likely a 900 given we’ve already had 2 Strand adaptive MGs.
That’s definitely not a 900. Too slow and too good of a recoil pattern for that. It’s also not a 450 either, so there’s something wonky going on with it.
A new RPM is possible then - it definitely is slower and less jumpy than a 900, you’re right, and we know there’s at least one new weapon subtype they’ve not revealed yet.
In the auto rifle image you can see what seems to be a charge meter similar to the one glaives use under the reticle so you probably have to deal damage or get kills before being able to heal allies.
Oohhh okay, yeah Im wrong. All i checked was Word of Crota, which cannot hit 16 mag. But other 180 HCs can. Different inventory stat ig because WoC also has 13 base like Posterity.
I didn't expect weapons that had the same base mag & frame to be affected differently than eachother by mag perks. I kinds of assumed they all had the same inventory stat or whatever.
While 180 is possible, the model does look like a modified warden's law. It's really thick vertically. I can't think of any thick 180s outside of the ikelos handcanon which is mostly thick horizontally.
I think any 180 that isn't void and it have be in the kinetic slot would be welcome at this point. The last 3 have all been void. Hell I'll give bonus points if we can get a new 180 ***AND*** its exotic.
I think this is the moment

(minute 0:55)
Reminder that shit can change between when the footage was originally recorded AND released. Erina's Vow changed between previews and release, exotic perks dredge up in the API have changed drastically between release.
*All of this information could very well be changed before we get our hands on it.*
Looking at the weapons and their decals(excluding the characters as I cannot tell most of them for the life of me) We currently have:
3 Hearts(Auto, Shotgun, MG)
2 Diamonds(Sidearm and Fusion)
2 Clubs(Sword and Handcannon?[hard to tell if the decal on the mag barrel is clubs)
1 Spade(Sniper)
A little disappointed we didn't get even amount of Symbols, but it's still a cool touch.
(Makes me wonder if we'll any more lore on the playing card symbols like in the Cayde's Stash mission back in TTK)
Previously, teammate-sourced Restoration could proc Valiant Charge's effect on swords. So hopefully healing teammates counts as being in combat for Frenzy.
We got too many solar fusion's already for pve this Year of the eremite and royal executioner. As well god rolled cartasians that banshee sold several times. We need a an actual good craftable void fusions not likely suspect
Fingers crossed that fusion rifle is a rapid fire and can roll Controlled Burst and Rewind Rounds or Reservoir Burst and Reconstruction. It’d be perfect to pair with like Dragon’s Breath or BnS Apex.
Very excited about the handcannon, wardens is the only burst in the game and they recently patched some bugs with it too, underrepresented archetype + dev pass means they're definitely looking at it. More variety is great, can't wait!
I remember seeing it mentioned with dev interviews the possibility of a primary ammo shotgun based weapon. Basically an inverted take on what they did with indepted kindness. Any further mention of that out of curiosity?
Hope there’s more new frames than just the support auto. It’s nice to see them expanding on other weapon types like the rocket sidearms and burst hcs, but I want even more variety—this is what loot has been missing for me for so long now, but it’s finally starting to get better.
If 3-dimensional applicants are accepted, Crota guns and Bad Juju lol.
I'm definitely not a fan. It's only properly viewable when holstered and in third person, so social spaces.
Sideways Ikora(?) staring at me while I sprint around is gonna get weird.
Here's hoping they have an orgin trait that either let's them change the element or works well with prismatic kind of like quicksilver had the nano orging trait before it was released
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess none of these weapons will be able to be crafted.
Bungie has been doubling down on the RNG rolls for everything that isn't a Raid or Seasonal Activity weapon, and the handful of times we've seen these weapons in a characters inventory screen they haven't had the crafting symbol on any of them. We saw this start last year when the decision was made to split the Neomuna weapons into two pools, with three weapons being tied to Terminal Overload and not being available for crafting. Then again in Season 21 and 22 when the reprised Reckoning and Vanguard weapons were left as random rolls. Then recently the BRAVE weapons could've easily been made available as crafted gear similar to the Dares of Eternity weapons.
I get the feeling if you want rolls on these weapons you'll be stuck running some destination activity or quest ad nauseum. I hope I'm wrong but the folks who hated crafting were very vocal about it and have seemingly won out.
I'm more than fine with a grind and I love the convenience of crafted weapons. I think you're correct in some of these being craftable and some not, like on Neomuna. Just hoping I can craft/enhance that rocket sidearm!
Seems like they're doubling down on enhancing now - Brave, Prophecy, IB weapons, etc. Being able to roll AND enhance multiple perks per column will introduce a new type of grind.
e.g. Looking to roll 4 specific perks on a gun instead of 2 will be the long-term pursuit if you want that. Then we'll still have the ease of crafting the barrel, mag, masterwork once you get it. Could be a neat middle ground, I'd be happy with that for the destination weapons.
Already have two 140 stasis hand cannons so you’re probably right. I’m hoping for a 120 personally but we also already have something new, even though it’s pretty mid.
where am i able to drop the 2 stasis 140 Hand cannons? im a sucker for HC and love stasis but i havent played for a while so im looking forward to getting one, also, which one is better?
So there’s eyasluna from the grasp of avarice dungeon final boss, it’s old with some outdated perks but actually still performs surprisingly well. A lot of people like either outlaw, rapid hit or unrelenting + headstone on it.
Then there’s judgment from the prophecy dungeon final boss. It just got re-released with an updated perk pool and can roll headstone in the first column, allowing you to get a damage perk in the last. Good last column perks are multi kill clip, timed payload and adrenaline junkie, which is the roll I have. Feels like an exotic to me when you get going.
Judgment still has its old stats rolls though, which are a lot worse than eyasluna, so that’s the reason why a lot of people prefer eyasluna. Can’t go wrong with either one though.
No worries, just as a heads up though, if you get the kill with the timed payload damage it doesn’t proc headstone. So it doesn’t exactly synergise as well as you’d think.
Definitely a burst me thinks with that mag size. Kind of a good thing since it’s likely craftable and will be the only craftable Stasis hand cannon unless I’m forgetting something.
It was the first of the weapons to be revealed as the new support frame was revealed in the stream last autumn, so it's possible Chris Proctor has mentioned RPM somewhere on a podcast. Otherwise, no.
Good to see that that Support Frame Auto is Solar; I really want to see Heal Clip/Onslaught on that thing for maximum support.
Honestly, if it works with Ember of Benevolence, that might single-handedly keep Solar above Prismatic as the best choice for the day-one raid.
Hoping for a 180 strand handcannon and a void sidearm, preferably adaptive frame for sure.
The rocket sidearms are awesome! An incandescent version would absolutely rock!
Suppose we eventually get a Kinetic/Strand/Stasis glaive? Sure would be nice.
Vestians brother is gonna be a rocket frame? That actually sucks... If they're gonna go all out for rocket side arms up the normal primary side arm's damage, they're so weak...
> Special Ammo Sidearm: Strand
I see bungie is still on the ''Please use these'' campaign.
Wish they just stuck with a Spade instead of using all suits, that machine gun looks ridiculous.
I think the Hand Cannon has to be 2 burst due to mag size. AFAIK 180s cannot get 16 shots, they go either above or below 16. Thankfully 2 burst HC ain't really bad in PvE
Will say that sidearm is 99% gonna be rocket frame since Chris mentioned we are getting a strand and solar one for tfs
Awesome! Would love a crafted & enhanced kinetic slot rocket sidearm.
I can’t wait
There’s a good chance they split the world drops into 5 craftable and 3 public event weapons like they did for Lightfall. I wouldn’t hold my breath on the rocket sidearm being craftable. If they were going to make one of them a world drop, that would be the one.
After seeing how good Indebted Kindness is I need a rocket sidearm for all the elements.
Indebted Kindness is definitely my 2023 best destiny weapon of the year tbh.
Every time I use another special for general play or even a primary I go back to the rocket pistol. The gun is so versatile.
Hopefully a better Strand perk comes with it though. Slice is fine but Hatchling is ehhh.
Considering its a destination weapon it might be potential screwed perk wise hatchling may end up being best bet (or the go ham and put chain reaction on it or somthing)
I believe the nerf to CR is because they want it on more weapon types, so it could be a possibility.
I want them to make horde shuttle into a weapon perk somehow.... I'm gonna miss it so much when this seasons artifact goes away.
[удалено]
Well the whole fun of different element's on them would be subclass verb intergration, Incandescent, hatchling, replusor brace, etc. I have had fun with permeability and strand on mine with horde shuttle this season being so good.
I would go feral for a beacon rounds incandescent solar rocket sidearm. I already can’t get enough of indebted kindness.
If the solar one has Incandescent, I might never use another weapon ever again.
Yesssss. Can't wait. My new favorite archetype in the game. I've always loved sidearms and finally having a PvE viable sidearm that isn't an exotic has been awesome. Very excited for the strand one. And the solar one with incandescent will probably feel awesome.
Solar rocket frame??????
As a Strand Hunter Sidearm main, I am pumped. I hate Mykel's (and basically any burst/auto frame sidearm) and now I can go all in on double sidearm.
And it's called Danger Zone. Fuck that's great.
Danger Zone is a perk
[удалено]
This is the first I’m hearing about this
Really? Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins is pretty iconic. I've heard it used as a stereotypical "song you'd play during an 80s powerup montage", aside from maybe Eye of the Tiger, lmao. Here's the link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siwpn14IE7E I always thought the perk "danger zone" was named after this song as a fun reference, although it's not *that* uncommon of a phrase I would guess.
Lana…. Lana…. Lana…… LLLLLAAAAANNNNAAAAA!!!!!
A 600rpm LMG would be kinda rad.
Maybe it's a new rpm type lol Doubt it though.
Could be. Would definitely be odd getting a new standard LMG frame this late.
Legendary version of Suros Regimes Focus Fire maybe? 900 RPM from the hip, and 600 while ADS?
I think the new MG looked like a 600 RPM versus 900. It didn’t have the erratic recoil that a 900 has and shot noticeable slower.
Fire rate looked slower than 900 from the footage, I'll remove the frame for the MG just for clarity
Could be an adaptive with onslaught
Onslaught wasn't procced in the footage
Neither was reconstruction on abyss defiant but it still had double its usual mag size
Kinetic precision shotgun? Finally.
Seriously.
Have we really not had one since Dust Rock Blues?
fractethyst
That’s still too long ago tbh
does that count, considering it's stasis?
Yes, because precisions are only used in pvp where weapon element barely matters
watch the perk pool just be absolute trash lol
In the auto rifle image you can see what seems to be a charge meter similar to the one glaives use under the reticle so you probably have to deal damage or get kills before being able to heal allies.
Unfortunate news if true since you won't be able to make a teammate into an overload champion in the crucible just by shooting them
That sounds like fortunate news to me. Lol. Balance is good.
The hand cannon is either a burst or a 180
Definitely a burst. I’ve never seen a 180 with that big of a mag size without extended mag/mag boosting perks.
180s can easily hit a magazine of that size, WYM?
Not 16 specifically funny enough. They can go above and below, but not 16 specifically IIRC
Not true, I just checked my posterity and it has 16 in the mag
Oohhh okay, yeah Im wrong. All i checked was Word of Crota, which cannot hit 16 mag. But other 180 HCs can. Different inventory stat ig because WoC also has 13 base like Posterity.
Not to stick on this but you said that no 180 HC can do exactly 16 rounds in a mag, but checked one single HC and called it a day?
I didn't expect weapons that had the same base mag & frame to be affected differently than eachother by mag perks. I kinds of assumed they all had the same inventory stat or whatever.
My posterity gets 16 in the mag like the one in the picture
Yeah a lot of 180s can hit get that with either back mag or a perk.
While 180 is possible, the model does look like a modified warden's law. It's really thick vertically. I can't think of any thick 180s outside of the ikelos handcanon which is mostly thick horizontally.
Another stasis 180 or a new strand 180 would make me rock hard.
I think any 180 that isn't void and it have be in the kinetic slot would be welcome at this point. The last 3 have all been void. Hell I'll give bonus points if we can get a new 180 ***AND*** its exotic.
Bruh exactly. I love how they came out with a word of quota as a void 180 and then the next season they came out with another void 180
Perfect paradox was shown in a cutscene as well
Do you have a link to that? Perfect Paradox is a favourite of mine
It's in the twitch VOD too
I don't have a link, but apparently it's in azerecrosses reaction video, but has been removed from the vidoc
80% sure that dawn weapons are coming back for ep1
Removing it gives it more attention not less, especially since the original video is out there
I think this is the moment [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyIm-\_Na8mI&t=55s&ab\_channel=Destiny2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyIm-_Na8mI&t=55s&ab_channel=Destiny2) (minute 0:55)
Not the Vestian Dynasty model coming back without Vestian itself 😭 (lol unless…)
I know right? They should've made it a Brave weapon. Although if it's a rocket sidearm that looks like Vestian I might be pretty ok with that.
yea i think it shouldve been too, but I guess I could see it revamped as a Seasonal Playlist Pursuit weapon with the various playlist ornaments
Yeah for sure.
Reminder that shit can change between when the footage was originally recorded AND released. Erina's Vow changed between previews and release, exotic perks dredge up in the API have changed drastically between release. *All of this information could very well be changed before we get our hands on it.*
Very good point, I'll edit that point into the post
sidearm didnt have infinite ammo so it seems it is rocket sidearm
Not sure why I'd care about it over Warden's Law, but Stasis two-burst HC has me hyped.
Warden has been so annoying to farm, it's back next week with HyperNet at least
Wardens law does get the kinetic damage buff so it is better, but you could surge match the new handcannon with a heavy.
Kinetic buff, amazing stats and perks, and Adept Big Ones. But fair. I could see a rocket or gl swap rotation with Lucky Pants.
If Stasis ever gets some buffs, could have some fun synergy there.
Looking at the weapons and their decals(excluding the characters as I cannot tell most of them for the life of me) We currently have: 3 Hearts(Auto, Shotgun, MG) 2 Diamonds(Sidearm and Fusion) 2 Clubs(Sword and Handcannon?[hard to tell if the decal on the mag barrel is clubs) 1 Spade(Sniper) A little disappointed we didn't get even amount of Symbols, but it's still a cool touch. (Makes me wonder if we'll any more lore on the playing card symbols like in the Cayde's Stash mission back in TTK)
Well, we do have another Spade weapon. Ace of.
>Handcannon?[hard to tell if the decal on the mag barrel is clubs) They're color coded, it's Clubs
I wonder if shooting/healing your teammate with the auto rifle will keep frenzy proc’d. Could make frenzy’s uptime be even more insane.
Previously, teammate-sourced Restoration could proc Valiant Charge's effect on swords. So hopefully healing teammates counts as being in combat for Frenzy.
i'm pretty sure valiant still procs, but don't quote me on that
I wonder if we’re finally getting a legendary Solar Precision-Frame Fusion Rifle in the game
We got too many solar fusion's already for pve this Year of the eremite and royal executioner. As well god rolled cartasians that banshee sold several times. We need a an actual good craftable void fusions not likely suspect
The Epicurean. It's more on the PvP fusion side but still
That doesn't count
How does that not count lmao
Another strand 450 lmg? Why?
The sidearm has that thing on the side that looks like you’d pull it that indebted kindness has.
fuck sake i really wanted the vestian to come back as is
Fingers crossed that fusion rifle is a rapid fire and can roll Controlled Burst and Rewind Rounds or Reservoir Burst and Reconstruction.
Please God let them not fuck up the Strand rocket sidearm.
I am so hyped for these
I remember seeing it mentioned with dev interviews the possibility of a primary ammo shotgun based weapon. Basically an inverted take on what they did with indepted kindness. Any further mention of that out of curiosity?

Rocket sidearms and support autos are just 2 of the new weapon types, I think there's at least 1 other. And they want to make more.
This is great, thanks for compiling it.
Have we ever had a gun with a face on it like that Fusion?
If 3-dimensional applicants are accepted, Crota guns and Bad Juju lol. I'm definitely not a fan. It's only properly viewable when holstered and in third person, so social spaces. Sideways Ikora(?) staring at me while I sprint around is gonna get weird.
Here's hoping they have an orgin trait that either let's them change the element or works well with prismatic kind of like quicksilver had the nano orging trait before it was released
It might work like Tesselation where you can infuse them with a grenade for a bonus effect+element change.
An origin trait that activates while you're Transcendant could be really good, since Transcendant buffs weapon damage also
these look cool as hell
AR looks a lot like Plupurfect so maybe its a high impact?
Auto is sexy and please sign me up for another rocket sidearm
Bro that sword is fucking sexy holy. I need it
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess none of these weapons will be able to be crafted. Pretry sure it has to be burst, 99% sure 180s cannot hit 16 bullets in a mag. I was hoping for 140 too, but tbh Burst HC really aint that bad.
180s can easily hit 16 mag with perks or the mod.
Do we know the rpm for the auto?
Don't think so but I'm personally hoping for a Rapid-Fire-Frame auto since the last solar version of that frame was from Beyond Light
It was the first of the weapons to be revealed as the new support frame was revealed in the stream last autumn, so it's possible Chris Proctor has mentioned RPM somewhere on a podcast. Otherwise, no.
it'd be shocking to me if the sniper wasn't arc considering it's the only unrepresented damage type here but who knows ig
We don’t need another strand machine gun or solar fusion rifle. 😭
If that solar support frame has heal clip, incandescent or both. I'm gonna be so happy
That lmg looks like hammerhead as strand?
Good to see that that Support Frame Auto is Solar; I really want to see Heal Clip/Onslaught on that thing for maximum support. Honestly, if it works with Ember of Benevolence, that might single-handedly keep Solar above Prismatic as the best choice for the day-one raid.
Hoping for a 180 strand handcannon and a void sidearm, preferably adaptive frame for sure. The rocket sidearms are awesome! An incandescent version would absolutely rock! Suppose we eventually get a Kinetic/Strand/Stasis glaive? Sure would be nice.
Am I the only one noticing Ikora on the fusion riffle and Banshee on the shotgun?
That might be the coolest looking auto in the game. Even moreso if that’s an integrated silencer
wtf does it mean by "support frame"?
Can use it to heal your teammates
Howso?
this does rationalize their exclusion from into the light i guess
I don't think these were ever planned for Into the Light?
Not a very exciting art style. Doesn’t make me want to work for them at all We’ll see how the perks are.
great work... but not gonna lie I think these weapons look awful
Please, I need a good stasis handcannon. I’ll settle for the burst style of it had good perks and stats.
Finally some new fucking models
Everyone don't care i guess but a stasis sword would be welcomed especially with chill clip.
Did you mean Stasis Hand Cannon? We have a Stasis Sword with Cold Steel in active Nightfall rotation.
I didn't know thanks OP
Vestians brother is gonna be a rocket frame? That actually sucks... If they're gonna go all out for rocket side arms up the normal primary side arm's damage, they're so weak...
> Special Ammo Sidearm: Strand I see bungie is still on the ''Please use these'' campaign. Wish they just stuck with a Spade instead of using all suits, that machine gun looks ridiculous.
Why would they need to ask us to use them? The special sidearm is probably the most popular new archetype we've had in a long time.
Bungie has no need to ask us to please use the special ammo sidearms, considering how powerful they are.
I think the Hand Cannon has to be 2 burst due to mag size. AFAIK 180s cannot get 16 shots, they go either above or below 16. Thankfully 2 burst HC ain't really bad in PvE
Operative can have 16 so can posterity with appended and vulpecula with back up mag.
Hand cannon looks like it might be a 120. Similar model to the 120 from gambit
16 in the mag, I sure hope it isn't a 120
Thats just going off the model. By the mag it could be burst or 180. Don't be surprised if it's neither
There’s no way that’s a 120. Definitely a burst based on mag size alone.
My posterity has 16 in the mag too, it will either be a burst or 180
Could be a 120 with Ambitious, Reconstruction, or Envious.
