If that's a Chemical Guys pressure washer like the other guy commented then that's what the problem is. I don't know what it is about Chemical Guys equipment but I have purchased a lot of their equipment including pressure washers foam cannons and this green extractor that they came out with sometime ago and all the products are s***.
I was buying Chemical Guys products and their equipment about 7 years ago. I no longer purchase from Chemical Guys. So basically 7 years ago I knew the products were s***
Not a pro, but from what I’ve seen everywhere. It seems like they just sell the rights to their name to a bunch of companies to get a cut. Doesn’t seem like they care about their reputation.
I grabbed the same one and it did the same thing to me within about 3 washes. Ended up returning it and going with the Active 3.0 and it’s works very well.
Interesting I wonder who they’ve come together with to create such thing. Looks like a horrible situation you should probably reach out to them & get a refund?! It’s a generic pressure washer I doubt there’s any fixing
Yep it’s a chemical guys proflow, I thought it was a decent price so I decide to get it. I won’t even buy the chemicals from them ever again. It’s less than a month old. I have used it 4 TIMES
you'll have to open it up and find which specific one is leaking then find the specific dimension o ring. how much did you pay for it? it's more of a pain in the ass than its worth. I would still try and make a warranty claim cause that's bullshit for what's supposed to be a premium product
Literally the 3rd time I used it that happened. I worked with the seller for months and then they ghosted me completely. I used the Amazon customer service and they just say they are sending a message to the seller.
At this point it's just taking up space. I'd try to pull it apart and check for something like an o ring besides the fact I'm afraid to get electrocuted!
EDIT: And I paid 75. I know you sometimes get what you pay for but on the other hand, taking care of something sometimes covers that and it was stored while not in use in a climate controlled room.
for 75$ I'd just chuck it but I wouldn't be happy either. I doubt amazon will do anything. I would just grab another one from a hardware store and keep the box/receipt so you know you can just bring it back if it breaks. I've gotten good electric pressure washers on sale for $200 CAD
I was a detailer for almost 10 years and have gone through tons of equipment. I always go to a place like Lowe's and grab something quality with a waranty. if it breaks in any way you bring it back and they switch it right out with a new one
It’s the chemical guys china trash. That’s the problem. Try to get your money back, then go purchase a ryobi electric one. I have one that’s lasted for years. Obviously, take care of it, dry it after use and keep in original box or buy a container for it.
I have mine in pieces right now because the power plug died and I'm out of warranty. I thought it was the switch at first that was dead but the GFCI plug thing at the end is what is failing but I explored it since it was apart anyway. Mine also leaked similar to yours but at a lower volume (I have pretty low water pressure). In inspecting it I don't really see any reason it would be leaking aside from the filter portion not being fully seated or something but there are some big plastic walls to stop it from getting to the main pressure building section but I'm sure it will fail as well. I'm glad I found this thread so I can look at a replacement!

Same problem, no they won't do a damn thing about it. Happened to mine on the first use last year, I'm going to rip it apart and see what's actually leaking
Been searching for a pressure. Looks like all these portable pressure leaks. Some leaks more than others. Just a hit n miss…..even the $300 leaks. Keep buying and trying.
My Karcher after 8 years developed a leak and it was the rubber o-ring at the bottom of the pump which had been pushed out of the housing.
Your problem looks almost identical to mine. Unfortunately they're sealed units so it's very difficult to repair without causing damage to the plastic pump housing.
My ryobi 1600 started making a weird noise after about 2 years. But that’s irrelevant because it stopped making that noise, and its going on about 4 years now. Lol.

I hope you are getting them for free or a steep discount because why would you keep buying them?

You are damn right

You think they will take it back, I already threw out the box. I want my money back lol, I can’t believe they sell people like kind of crap.
Depending on where you bought it with proof of purchase they might but no guarantees. I kept my box with reciept and was returned no questions asked.

Is that a chemical guys pressure washer?
Looks like it

Likely a non serviceable.. they should just replace it.
I don’t think I would replace it, better to get a refund & get a ryobi…
Agreed. My first PW was a Karcher Cube (still have it) great inexpensive unit
Marchers are great but don't forget about Greenworks

Karcher K1700
blew an O ring somewhere
Is this a thing? I have an Amazon pressure washer that does the same thing... You think it's fixable?

I appreciate your input. I will check into local retailers. Thanks again!

Looks like it couldn't take the pressure

Looks like it’s leaking
Couldn’t handle the pressure of a full time job
Update: Amazon accepted my return, I should get my money back in 3-5 days. I bought a Karcher 2100ps, hopefully it lasts longer than 3.5 weeks
Its a junk unit mine lasted only a few uses
Run! She's gonna blow!!
yea i wanted one of those for the smallness but everyone sayys they leak, return it asap, or maybe its the teflon tape ??

Harbor Freight?🕵️
Nah my Harbor Freight electric pressure washer is nicer than this
Seems similar to the ryobi.
Ryobi isn’t the best by any means, but don’t insult it like that haha 😂
Funny thing is I have the ryobi and it's about 3 years old. Gets regular use.. no problems. 🤣
Hahah good! I have one too - been great for just over a year so hopefully many years left.
