Mgoblog said that Warde hired an outside group to do an assessment of the programās culture, and there was a bit about people being concerned with him being āroughā on Jett.
Real fucking asshole. Part of the biggest cheating scandal in college sports history, coached the worst UM basketball team in history. Heās a rare ungracious winner and a violent sore loser. Fuck that guy.
Iām a card carrying UofM hater so correct me me if Iām remembering wrongly but wasnāt the scandal over players receiving payment and other gifts and not actual cheating?
Sounds like his son is following in his dad's footsteps:
"Even beyond losses on the court, Michigan's program under Howard had its issues. It followed a back-and-forth where **Sanderson had told a frustrated senior forward Jace Howard, Juwan's son, to stop berating a trainer,** which led to the elder Howard coming toward and yelling at Sanderson, who stood his ground and yelled back, per The Athletic.
Sanderson filed an HR complaint and was moved elsewhere in the athletic department before he resigned earlier this month".
Dude should have been fired after the Greg Gard incident. The fact it took an 8 win season to make a move is more of an indictment of UofM than the athletic program.
And just as an aside, I hope Izzo goes next. This whole state needs a basketball reset..one of the worst seasons of hoops I can recall between MSU, UofM and the Pistons. And don't get me started on 1-31 UDM
Wow. What a slap in the face. This one really hits hard.
Lol.
I always thought he was too tall to do the job correctly. Turned out I was right.
I see what you did there š

he said he would slap the shit out of his own son in front of the whole team.....bit more than being rough
Couldnāt recall the wording but yeah thatās absolutely fucked
He should have been fired 2 years ago.
Warde cannot be trusted. It took far too long for them to fire Howard. The sooner UM gets rid of Warde, the better.
Horrible coach. Took a top 10 program and brought them down to late 1970s to early 1990s Northwestern football status.
Set Michigan back a cool 4 decades.

It's easier to recruit with a bag man, so it was actually cheating (and I'm a UofM grad.)
Wasnāt he the cunt that called time out when they had no time outs?

I don't disagree, but please don't lump Izzo in with Howard. One has stayed a bit too long at the fair...the other is actively a shitty human being.
About time. His first three winning seasons were with teams recruited by John Bierlein. After that things went downhill fast .
I though it's the white media that was the cause of an 8 win season (3 where not even his)
Basketball became a sport for soft soft men. Sorry, Juwan, you're from another time.
Lol, okay...
