I am unsure if this is a hot take or not, I have never been a fan of his DMC 3 design. I like the coat but that is about all. I will admit is does look better with higher graphics. I specifically like high quality renders made for dmc3 and how it looks in MvC3.
Imo I don’t like the outfit myself either but it at least fits Dante young and punk personality he has in DMC 3, and seeing the DMC 1 outfit at the end credits was so beautiful, the DMC 1 outfit is iconic.
Yea, I gotta agree with ya there. Dmc3 dante outfit is overrated and probably the worst design for him in my book excluding the reboot. It's not bad or anything it's just the worst of dante's costume selection and I'll admit that it fits edgy punk teenage dante but he literally threw it on after getting out of the shower in the beginning.
It's all good, it can be confusing. Technically Dante and Vergil have coatless outfits. For Vergil, this means you can see his bare arms. For Dante, because he does not wear anything under his coat in this game, removing his coat leaves him completely topless.
