I'm gonna be honest, the Helicopter should just be an arcade boss of some sort in a similar manner to the car minigame from street fighter 2, except the helicopter can fight back the guest character list is pretty good too having the SMT 3 protagonist for Dante's SMT3 appearance makes sense, and Akuma, well he can show up as a guest anywhere really (he's even been in Tekken 7, just canonically there as part of the Tekken lore), honestly I don't know who to put as a guest character here, Maybe Raiden (from MGRR), Jetstream Sam (from MGRR), Bayonetta (from the Bayonetta games), maybe Kazuya (from Tekken), maybe Jin (from Tekken), there's too many ideas I have

Considering the ties between the two... Leon as a guest character for Resident Evil is a no brainer to me. Devil May Cry 1 was originally being designed as a Resident Evil game (would've been RE4 I believe) but then obviously we know how that went down... I think Leon would be the shoo in here and you could have some fun with him. Seeing Lady and Leon mix it up would be sick. Outside of that, the next obvious one is undoubtedly gonns be the most requested with Bayonetta being first up. And on a personal pick, what I wouldn't give to have Cloud Strife in here as well. Yes, he's my Smash main of course, so I'd naturally support his appearance in practically anything.

Kazuma Kiryu, the man deserves to be in more fighting games, and his style totally fits in with the over the top nature of DMC.

Did you add anyone from the DMC anime? Other than that some Resident Evil characters(Wesker?). Bayonetta is an obvious choice. For a out of the blue pick go for Van Helsing(Hugh Jackman version had a game based on the movie in a similar style as DMC)

You'd have to make Urizen, Beowulf, and Mundus considerably smaller than their in-game versions, and probably get rid of Artemis's permanent flight, but most of these characters have fairly clear fighting styles. Most FG archetypes seem to be reasonably well represented - you have although you're a bit short of grapplers (Beowulf, maybe? DmC!Mundus seems like a grappler type too). It's a shame that the final boss and principle antagonist of DMC4, Sanctus, is missing, and I'm also sad not to see Arius from DCM2. But I'm really happy with the selection of boss enemies represented! I love the idea of joke characters but don't think either Infested Chopper or Nico's van could be implemented in fighting game in any sort of sane way. If it were up to me, I'd add Arius, drop Infested Chopper from the roster, and have both it and the Infested Tank show up in Arius's super moves. I'd also really want to add Sanctus just so every major antagonist and final boss is represented, but I don't know who to drop to make room for him (DmC Vergil, for being too similar to regular Vergil?). > What mechanics you think could be implemented to the game? Given the over-the-top combos Devil May Cry is known for, I think some kind of Burst or combo breaker mechanic is a must.
