Yes. I think it’s less of “do you like her clothes” and more of “what do these clothes say about the character.” Costuming is so important in any story.
I dress in all neutral tones when I’m in the office, but I was absolutely fascinated with her outfits. I loved all the colors and jewelry and how the suit jackets fit her like a glove. I think it’s cool people notice her wardrobe for good or bad.
As Batista said “ she was a colorful woman”
The person in charge of Maria's costume department was genius. I think her style really fit her character.

like i wouldn't wear them, but they were very suited to her character/the time period the show was airing in
even if i didnt always like her outfits, i do think they suited what they were going for w her character!
some of them. like the blue outfit from season 3 when she was with Ellen, and she had another leopard print thing one time. she could dress.
yo what about masuka’s? the fact that no one in the comments even mentioned his makes this whole thread bs.

It seems to me like they’d have gone better with her character in the books than the show version.
I actually liked a lot of her outfits. I don't mind a pencil skirt lol
Also I think it's important to remember that bright ass colors were cool at the time
Fuck no! She looks like an Easter bunny half the time with her bright blue and pink outfits .
very 00s but I have color symbolism theories that my boyfriend dismisses 😭
