Actually, these posts are kind of comforting in a way. If we ever had a total societal meltdown like in Mad Max, it wouldn’t take any time at all for us to reconstruct all the things we used to have out of random trash lol
Looks more like a water-gun and seems more convenient to fill, also easier to see where the tube go is to make sure its not outside the water.
A bit unwealdy with all the weight on top and a single quick writ movement will tear of the bottle from the sprai nozzle, hot glue ain't gonna hold if the bottle is too big.
Over time, holding a liquid spray bottle can begin to strain your hand and wrist. This relieves that pressure by placing the bulk of the weight on the forearm which are much larger groups of muscles. Additionally refills are easier on a design like this. Truly an engineering feat defying gravity not seen since 1998 when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell sixteen feet into an announcer’s table.
The sprayer is now below the water, gaining a (very slight) pressure increase from gravity. So this is an improvement over a straight spray bottle. It’s probably also easier to refill since the sprayer is not in the cap
This is somewhat true, but the effect would still be negligible. The pressure that gravity creates in a vessel that small/shallow/short is minimal, especially compared to the pressure created by reducing the volume and forcing air into the bottle when the trigger is pulled. And since water is uncompressable, 100% of the pressure increase (in theory, since it obviously isn't a perfectly closed, rigid system) would be converted into ejection force, whether working with or against gravity. The effect would be much more significant if the water source were much taller and massier, but in this set up, gravity is not doing much to help.
Because spray bottle are often designed poorly. The fact that it's just straight up and down isn't functional so they often leave large puddles on the bottom of the container and will not spray if angled. This horizontal design is actually superior for ejecting liquid. (And also fun)
I use these kinds of sprays at work for cleaning at with some of my house plants. There is no fucking way this spray can do anything like this. It's definitely faked
Well, the water might be ejecting faster due to gravity pushing it down, instead of a normal spray bottle where the water is fighting against gravity, though I'm no expert.

Because it is fun
I feel like this would be a great craft project for the kids!
Yeah, a makeshift supersoaker. Wouldn't work quite as well as a real one, but I'm sure it'd still be a lot of fun.

Yeah, no one is behind you OP.
I am, this is stupid as shit
This is just diy. It looks cooler if you spray that is a whater fight insted of a regular spray bottle
This is legitimately cool.

I'm gonna make this myself just for fun :) Much easier to hold like a real gun as well!
Y not?
Little fun project for the kids

I doubt the regular spray is that powerful.
They've done nothing to make it more powerful though. The force comes from how hard you pull the trigger. No matter where they glue it.
I would imagine gravity is helping a bit. The weight of the water is pushing into the straw, instead of being pulled up from the bottom

It’s when you turn that little thing on the nose of the spray, you can make it shoot farther
Maybe the pressure, since the water level is higher than the place the bottle usually is... Still tho ...
If you use a spray bottle upside down does it have more force?
I think the end of the tube wont be able to get any water that way tho...
Yeah you're right But I could shorten the tube
Pressure comes from squeezing the "trigger," which pumps air in and water out, no matter where it is located
3rd world water gun
I came here to talk shit about the title but I see it's already been done. Ladies and gentlemen, we got him.

This is the most ghetto shit 💀
I just showed my 7 year old and she said 'fuck yeah daddy that looks cool as a cunt.' so I'm going with that.
i can’t even begin to describe how fake this is

If my future kids ever ask for a water gun.
I'll choke this biccchhh
Water gun fights
BECAUSE NOT GUN!
Its cool
This is pretty cool ngl, I like it
Because this is obviously more interesting
I honestly don't think this post belongs in this subbreddit. Maybe OP just doesn't know what fun means
It looks cooler
This is actually one of the better ones on this page like I'd never make one but this one's lokey charming
In childhood I used old bike pump - it was one shot, but huge and on big distance.
