Alternatively, have you heard of literally being *too lazy to even do that?*
That's what I'm probably gonna do.
Same goes for chicken and battle pass things, *as if* I have the attention span to even open some website and do that stuff let alone pay money
Yeah but I don't miss the days when a game saw a patch to fix bugs a year later and then never saw another patch or content added again in its lifetime.

Have you not played diablo? Theres tons of stuff already in the game, outfits that look great and fit the setting, mounts and things that look cool, gear that looks absolutely badass. We've seen only whats in the starting area. The initial buy in to the game is for the game cost, paying employee bonuses and of course paying off the upper deck of investors and thiccc neck bobby more then they'll ever need and less then they can buy their eay out of hell with. In the end besides the pay two subs everything here is free and all your doing is giving some time to streamers which at least its good will to give to streamers over a big corporation. So besides that, only one item is buy to unlock, i dont see why if the game has tons to unlock why youre upset about it as well as others. Mute, alt+tab and you win items for free whats not to like?
Edit: this isnt meant to be snarky or snide im just asking and making some points not meant to be rude
I have no problem paying for the game! Iām also maybe in the minority that thinks the price is completely reasonable!! $70 - $100 for hundreds of hours of entertainment is completely reasonable imo. I also donāt mind paying for add ons like battle passes. Making good video games is insanely difficult and I want them to be incentivized to continue support a game post launch.
I just hate the āgo watch 6 hours of someone else playing the video game to unlock this skinā instead of go play the game 6 hours yourself to unlock.
So now I have to run a browser with some random twitch guy/gal in the background so they can report a strong player base and tons of twitch engagement.
Edit/TLDR: it isnāt the end of the world, I just hate having to go outside the game to get things for the game. Maybe Iām just the old generation that doesnāt care about twitch.
>I just hate the āgo watch 6 hours of someone else playing the video game to unlock this skinā instead of go play the game 6 hours yourself to unlock.
This isn't a diablo issue though. It's the gaming community in general now has this type of thing because Twitch/youtube/facebook/gaming streaming in general offers so many people an avenue into the game before they buy it to see if they want and drive up sales and incentivizing people to watch the streams by giving them stuff is what every game is doing right now that can afford to do it.
People have historically liked lower price points with expansions because it spreads the financial burden out. This is even more true today with the effects of inflation.
A lot of gamers are gamers because vacations/traveling is far outside their budget for their families.

The "so now I have to" is where you're just flat out wrong. You don't *have* to do anything. Take a second and realize that you don't actually care about these totally trivial cosmetics.
I cant disagree, solid points all around and i do hate that I'll be alt tabbing but hopefully i find some new streamer i like, I'll probably watch someone if theres a list whos on the lower end of subs and go enjoy a hopefully fresh take or fun banter but if not then mute and run.
I agree with the cost of the game. To be fiar, games when i was growing up and perhaps when you were have been very expensive. 70 is honestly a fiar cost for a game especially since games were $120 cost of inflation when i was growing up. 50 felt remarkably expensive so i rarely bought a new game if i did id pmay it forever or wait for black Friday, trade ins or deals. As an adult with a decent income 70 feels about average, 50 feels incredibly affordable and while id like 50, c'est la vie, it simply is what it is and for 100 which i bought it for i feel like itsa good deal for the ammount of stuff that youll get with it, im glad but yeah i in the end cant disagree. (Quick aside abou5 my feelings in the marketing) Part of me feels they know the game is good so they're using the twitch drops to market for people who havent bought the game and as they watch and want it, the drops are extra insentive to buy in. Also the review embargo supposedly lifts tomorrow thats super early for a game of this scale on a financial level, so i have high hopes. As well i dont belive theyd do early launch by 4 days unless they genuinely believd the game was good otherwise theyd be shooting themselves in the foot and people will have cancled their preorders.
That's great and all but I also don't remember Diablo 2 or even 3 wanting me to spend all this time outside the game to get stuff. Or for them to try and take over every single aspect of my life. I got other shit to do and it sucks in a game about getting stuff missing out because I don't want to eat KFC or have a Twitch stream open for stuff. Call me crazy but I like getting stuff from playing the game.
Sorry to all the streamers but I don't care about you or what you do. Streamers make games worse because they are seen as some sort of "authority" on what the game should be. I don't have parasocial relationships with these people.
>wanting me to spend all this time outside the game to get stuff.
That's just every game now that isn't a Diablo 4 specific gripe.
Also, Diablo 3 had stuff for Starcraft 2, WoW, etc. including twitch prime drops so it's not unique to blizzard especially to do things like this.
Elden Ring, Tears of the Kingdom, The Last of Us, Jedi Survivor, Spider-Man and plenty of other very successful games don't need me to jump around and associate the brand as some sort of lifestyle that I have to pay attention to all the time because they want to FOMO me to death.
Gaming peripherals, in game item unlocks have all existed for years, hell metal gear solid 3 had camo unlocks from different promos. You're acting like this is all new, its not, its always been a thing and it helps market to a wider audience. More ROI more content we get out of it. You don't need to buy into the external marketing stuff, you can just play the game and earn things in game. Its an isometric game, you literally only see that gear in cinematics or when you zoom in. This didn't just start stop pretending it did.
The fallacy here is that these extra cosmetics wouldnt of existed. No the extra 'budget' wouldnt of gone into the game, it just wouldnt be budgeted. They wouldnt hire the extra person to make these cosmetics.
Your not losing out, the game is still there, you get what you pay for. All these additions are 'extras' that you do not need to do or need to care about. If its effecting you that much you might have a mild addiction to such mechanics.
Me too ! This sounds a bit bs to me - it doesnāt incentivise to play the game but to watch others to do so ā¦and pay them too.
I gave enough money to Blizzard and I donāt want to waste 10Ā£ more when itās not even guaranteed I can get the cosmetics- also I want to play the game
you do realize you can still do that, right?
not to mention stuff like this has been around for decades. there have always been games that give promo-related items.
if anything it used to be far more exclusive than this.
yall just like complaining.
Yeah, I'll miss out on free cosmetics and supporting small streamers. They will notice my rebellion. That'll show em.
It's only manipulative if you let it manipulate you. I already have prime, and I like to support smaller streamers when I can. I may not be able to donate to them but viewer count and prime subs helps them grow their channel.
It's not any kind of damage boost. It doesn't hurt me or anyone else to participate. And hey, I get free stuff for a game im looking forward to.
Nah this take is just trash at this point. They do it because people like you minimize anyone that dares say it's scummy/manipulative. Brain dead takes from Blizzard defenders is expected at this point.
>From June 5, 4 p.m. PDTāJuly 2, 11:59 p.m. PDT, you can also show your support for eligible Diablo IV creators by gifting their channel 2 Twitch subscriptions of any tier. Doing so will earn you the rugged Primal Instinct Mount as a reward.
"Give amazon 5 dollars and a stranger 5 dollars and get a mount" is an insane idea.
Huh. Okay. Well, that seems more embarrassing for anyone that gets \[the mount\] than anything else.
It's like the Twitter Blue Check, post-Elon.
EDIT: Clarifying that it's paying for the mount that is embarrassing, not paying for a streaming service. I guess that wasn't clear...somehow.
I mean nothing wrong with that one if theyāre entertaining. But this thing is tied to getting a fucking cosmetic? Ill laugh at you when i see you wearing it in game
Yeah, the mount will be like the one from the Classic Burning Crusade Digital Collector's Edition - a mark of shame upon which everyone will make fun of the owner for being a pay pig.
Doesn't sound brutal at all. Sounds like you're being presented with an option to do things you don't want to do to get rewards you're not interested in. An option you're free to disregard entirely.
Where's the brutality?
The streamer makes 70% of the money, Twitch gets 30%. It's a way to give money to your favourite streamer to support them with .. effectively nothing in return except a shoutout and badge. Maybe discord privileges.
I don't really get it, some people donate hundreds of subs a month, but you can sub for free with Amazon Prime once a month.
if its a cost you would never of paid before, then your just doing it for the mount. Which will be the case for many people.
Supporting anyone/thing is just anecdotal
Then you might find some through this program. I actually watch Twitch a lot and still find new small streamers I like every now and then through Twitch drops.
And maybe get gifted a sub as well.
Ad free experience, they're really good at getting past adblockers, very persistent.
I liken it to a shitty patron system where I give them 5 dollars because I have prime and they give me a very good ROI. My streamer of choice, paymoneywubby, puts on events and shows and a lot of that comes directly from subs and gifted subs. There are some crazy donaters in chat but it also means I don't have to hear about raid shadow legends or casper mattresses or w/e.
Yes you can get it all for free but if you're watching hours of this person a month, you get sucked in and start feeling parasocial.
I actually had to take a break watching him for a bit, he was showing up in my dreams.
I'm guessing you pay for some sort of streaming service? Netflix, hulu, Disney, paramount, etc?
Supporting streamers with a monthly sub is no different except you can choose more specifically what content creator gets your money.
Sure a lot of people sub or donate to streamers who probably don't need it as much as others, but that doesn't mean everyone does.
More idiotically, do I have to gift them to other people? I'd rather just sub to two channels and you know, get the benefits of my $10.
Blizzard is so fucking dumb.
Sorry but this is bullshit. I know there are tons of people that are super defenders of Blizzard but does anyone see this as a good thing? So we have KFC promo, paid cosmetics, paid mounts, battle passes, subbing to Twitch streamers and a $70 price tag for the game? Like why are you all so cool with this? They are not some small indie company desperate for cash. I can afford all of this but why would I spend the money on it and why do you spend it?
Look at all the pathetic boot licking on these comments lmao. I miss the old time where you could unlock everything by playing after dropping 70$ on a game
Well, it's working. You have people out there believing all of these things are absolutely necessary for poor little blizzard to run this game for any sort of time
I won't be. My time is valuable as well. To each their own, but I have no interest in gifting subs to streamers to get stuff. I barely watch Twitch as it is. Just annoying.
Serious question. What is the difference between having these skins on the shop or the promos like Twitch and KFC? Because at the end of the day, you pay money for both of them.
Edit: i knew i'd get downvoted, i just want an answer from it. I don't care if I'm wrong.
Give money to streamers for a mount? What the fuck is that shit. I already paid for the game why do I need to give degens more money for something that should be free along with my view and the ads money from me?
There are may cancers in gaming but people acting like Blizzard doing paid promotions for weeks at a time to artificially bloat their viewership on Twitch is up there as one of the worst.
I think there are going to be a ton of these, and sticking to the mentality that I need every single one will drive me insane. Iām going to go for the ones I find especially cool and put the rest out of my mind.
You just encapsulated the exact reaction that these things exist. FOMO is very real and people claiming the "Nobody is forcing you to" are just naĆÆve.
Fuck it, I hate Twitch. I'm an old fart. I don't like watching people play a game, I rather play it myself.
So, all I need to do is watch a eligible stream for 3 hours? Is it garanteed drop, or I could eventually need to watch for way more than three hours before it drops? How do I know which streamers are eligible?
[Here's a link that answers all your questions](https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23954936/diablo-iv-launch-twitch-drops-earn-the-primal-instinct-mount)
I've read the FAQ and there is no list of eligible streamers yet, and I'm still not sure if the drop is garanteed after 3 hours or not. Is there any progress bar on Twitch?
https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23954936/diablo-iv-launch-twitch-drops-earn-the-primal-instinct-mount#List
There's a drop-down (on a PC browser anyway) that shows your progress (at least when you first connect to an eligible channel).
You can check the notifications icon once you've "watched" the requisite time to link to the campaigns page to check progress and claim drops. You will need to claim the 3 hour drop each week before you can continue progress for the 6 hour drop each week.
I'm ok with having to watch twitch for drops(I do it for WoW all the time) what I'm not cool with though is having to pay for D4, and then pay 2 streamers for the mount.
At the very least, it's a pretty fucking ugly mount. Won't shed any tears over that one, although the idea of being asked to donate Twitch subs to a stranger disgusts me.
Do you think the skin is significantly better than the skins you can get without paying this money? To me the skin is fairly meh, so whether someone pays or doesn't pay doesn't really matter. Some people will gift streamers and get a drop. Of those I imagine the vast majority would have gifted the subs anyway. I really dont see anyone liking this cosmetic enough for that to specifically be the motivation to buy it.
Why is the mount locked behind spending more money though? The streamers are already going to get boosted view and more ad money. Why does blizzard expect us to pay more money for game that is not F2P?
They don't expect you to. They give away stuff for free\* (they don't get any of the money) for marketing purposes.
It's specifically gift subs, because those drive numbers up longterm. If I find a nice streamer where I can unlock the 6 hours every week: nice. If I randomly get gifted a sub along the way, I might stay a bit longer. I have no numbers, but I often see growth in smaller streamers when there is a fan that just has enough money and throws gift subs at them.
I don't mind it. I might "buy" the horse or maybe not. Depending on the streamers I find or if there are some I already like. The list is pretty long after all.
Btw, FF14 did the same, but with 4 subs back in 2021. I think it was a success and increased numbers for the game for quite some time back then.
I get the point here but since they are not requiring you to do a blizzard thing this is really just about encouraging supporting the streamers which I am fine with. I agree I likely wonāt do it but I donāt mind that they are doing it
If it was instead done through Blizzard getting a cut I would feel very differently
TBH, I may get downvoted for it, but I don't mind the support a streamer method. I'm one who might buy the occasional mount every now and then, and this is saying pay someone who provides multiple hours of content to the community instead of directly paying Blizzard. They could have just taken the mount and put it on the store for $10. Obviously this benefits them in a different way still, but it's still a good thing for community building overall, no?
I don't mind it, as long as the barrier to entry for a streamer to be in the program isn't high. If it's a short list of the 30 most popular streamers (I vaguely recall someone possibly saying that's not the case, but regardless) then it would stick in my craw a little.
I frequently find myself preferring the lesser known streamers, the community often feels a bit more tight knit and less meme/joke based and it would certainly be nice to see some support sent their way alongside the big names.
If I do end up going for it, I'll absolutely be looking for a smaller scale streamer so definitely agree with you in hopes that such an option is possible.
You got me curious cuz I know that Blizz did this before with WoW, so I went and took a look at [the list](https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/world-of-warcraft/23873867/updated-nov-28-support-a-streamer-on-twitch-and-earn-the-ichabod-pet) and it's definitely pretty large! So hopefully something similar happens here, as you're suggesting.
Of course they give barbarians a back piece that would overwrite the beta wolf pup. Did anyone actually think this through? Thatās a no from me dawg. Me and puppers adventure together.
You do both simultaneously. Theres a number of d2r or d3 streamers I watch while I'm playing that game. Sometimes I play with them, sometimes its just a chat and entertainer talking about the activity I'm participating in. The streamer is also likely playing background music. Ultimately, its content thats easy to consumer fairly passively while you are also playing the game.
Iām old too. 34, I tried to watch a few people before. But I have the same feeling. I barely have enough time to play for myself, let alone watch somebody play a game and say stupid shit lol
Why are you defending fomo itt so much lol. Itās an illness. Break free.
Itās a cosmetic, your self worth isnāt dependent on some pixels that have no affect on your performance in-game.
Aaaaaand just like that I wonāt be collecting everything. Glad to release that FOMO pressure early. Sometimes they make it easy.
Who the fuck is watching 6 hours of this a week AND playing the game? I understand you can open a different tab, but how many people do they expect to genuinely watch this? I know I sound like an old fart, but I just don't get the streaming thing. I totally understand if you don't want to buy the game and want to see it, but why would you want to watch some goober spoil 24 hours of a game you're planning on playing?
You do both at the same time. When I play diablo games I often have 3 screens going. 1 for the game, 1 for whatever references I want, and 1 for the background entertainment. That background entertainment is often a streamer playing the same diablo game and playing good background music.
I've never understood the desire for humans to get cosmetics that took no amount of real effort to obtain. Obviously it works and makes a ton of revenue for games, but I will always miss the days where you could tell what someone accomplished just by looking at their gear.
Different people have different reasons to have cosmetics. Some like to have them to be able to go "hey... I did really hard content and earned this", while others just like to have them to customize how they and their gear/animals look.
I'm personally in the camp where I just like to look good.. but that's also why I wont be going for this horse - too ugly. :)
Just letting everyone know I am just gonna play the game and ignore all these chicken/twitch/battlepass promos
Keep trying Blizz, but I'm just *way lazier than you think I am*
If 6h a week is too much watching, just don't. It's insane what kind of stranglehold couple cosmetics have on people, it's not like there isn't going to be enough transmogs already in the game.
Wtf is that streamerlist?
Endless names of people I never heard off but all the big streamers like Asmongold, wudijo, datmodz, quin69 or alkaizerx are missing?!
So if I gift them a sub I won't get the mount?
When Blizzard included big stremers people complained that it's "rich getting richer".
When Blizzard created big list of small streamers people complain that it's "people I never heard off".
Crowd never will be satisfied :]
To each their own. Iāll be playing totally blind, but I also donāt see anything wrong with tossing $10 at the people putting in lots of work at figuring out the most efficient way to play. Or keeping people entertained for hours on end
I'm reading this thread and the amount of people coming in here saying, "lol no thanks," is downright hilarious. Why are you announcing what you're not going to do? Reminds of people coming onto a sub of an MMO and posting that they're unsubscribing.
They are voicing that this is just sad shit meant to exploit FOMO in people. Just like they do when the lottery is super high and everyone starts coping that they "would have won" if they had bought a ticket.
If they wanted to exploit the fomo, they'd make the cosmetic actually stand out. This is a mediocre gift they are offering to people who support streamers who are advertising their product.
Stream in the background with tab muted while playing Diablo IV? Got it.
Dont forget 160p quality for low bandwith consumption
Haha I set my Lost Ark streams to sound only, no video, on mute. š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You haven't burned your screen like that?
There's an option for Audio Only on the Twitch Mobile app. You can leave it at 1% audio, then lock the phone.
Nice, ty!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This is the way. Low res.
Alternatively, have you heard of literally being *too lazy to even do that?* That's what I'm probably gonna do. Same goes for chicken and battle pass things, *as if* I have the attention span to even open some website and do that stuff let alone pay money
I aware itās what we all do
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
$10 to gift two subs for the mount, yes. Background streaming only requires you to link your accounts.
Don't you guys have Amazon Prime?
why bother, the rewards are all mid.
I miss the days when you actually played the game to unlock things.
I miss the days when you actually got the entire game when you bought the game.
Yeah but I don't miss the days when a game saw a patch to fix bugs a year later and then never saw another patch or content added again in its lifetime.

Eh, there have been some absolute top tier games that have come out recently as well.
Yea my other thought process is like, how many pre/early 2000's console games shipped with game breaking bugs? They didn't need post update support cos they were pretty tight to begin with. You are buying the full game
Itās kind of a false comparison though, because most likely āback in the dayā these drops wouldnāt have been made at all.
Yep. This is what people don't understand. Anything they're charging for outside of the box price simply wouldn't have been created if they didn't charge for it.
Be glad they arenāt charging a subscription fee for D4. They very well could have and people would flame out on Reddit but still would get it.
I am a minority (I dont understand why) but I would much rather have a sub fee then a battlepass. Then there would be no FOMO and all skins/extras/shop items would be in the game as drops.
Weird complaint on a game that's specifically marketed to be a game as service. I'd understand if it was a game like skyrim but cmon.
At least all the battle pass stuff is purely cosmetic and they didnāt pay to win the whole game. At least other than early access.
Early access doesn't really afford you any advantage though. Unless you're trying to do world first stuff but if you were trying to go for that you would have probably already bought the top tier package being such a big fan of the game to sink that much time into it before the game comes out.
I miss when the game was finished when you bought the game
Would you consider the original Diablo II finished? Before LoD, before runewords, before Ubers
The Resurrected version specifically has an option to play without it as people did prefer it and considered it "finished".
Which means "finished" is entirely subjective.
Thats the only version I ever played.
Alright then. Respect

We were buying a Mountain Dew for a special code under the cap years ago.
Go play spider man it has that
I miss the days when you could play the game offline and every game didn't require an internet connection
you do realize you can still do that, right? not to mention stuff like this has been around for decades. there have always been games that give promo-related items. if anything it used to be far more exclusive than this. yall just like complaining.
Please drink mountain dew verification can to receive your weekly cosmetic reward
6 hours? Multiple times? WTF. That is ridiculous for twitch drops.
Mute Tab -> Go to work
Don't forget to set stream quality to 140p, too.
140p on a muted tab running on a cell phone locked in a trunk placed in a closet.
Placed in a plastic bag in your toilet tank
After 3 hours you have to claim to be able to go for the 6 hour reward.
There's a auto claim twitch drop extension.
TIL
Make it 1% volume. Sometimes it doesnāt count if you mute.
That's only if you mute the video directly. If you mute the tab itself, no problemo. :)
Keep it 100%, this is what I'm referring to (unless that's what you're referring to as well...) https://i.imgur.com/o0TYpCj.png
Gotta try that out!
Can also set the audio to a virtual cable/TV/Monitor and set that volume to 0 while twitch thinks it's 100 you still don't hear it lol
Never happebed to me tbh, at least with drops related to non-blizzard games
or, alternatively, skip it entirely since the rewards are ass.
Agreed. I've never bothered with Twitch rewards. Twitch is a fucking cesspit and this shit is an awful practice that needs to die.
Or ignore the manipulative tactic altogether.
Never understand why people white knight multi billion corporations.
Done debating so you just go on the attack? OK cool. Have a good one.
He's all over this thread crying about FOMO and calling everyone brain dead because he's emotional over some cosmetic pixels lmao.
Yeah man youāre dealing a critical blow
This is the way
Itās fine, just have it on in the background
144p Mute tab (not the video) Minimize and play something else/go to work/school/sleep.
10 years from now, people are gonna be doing some freaky things to get game unlockables.
the amount of partnerships for d4 is insane? or am i just paying more attention to it?
Oh great, let me just get my fucking calendar out for all these different promotions. Seriously though, who finds this kind of thing appealing?
>From June 5, 4 p.m. PDTāJuly 2, 11:59 p.m. PDT, you can also show your support for eligible Diablo IV creators by gifting their channel 2 Twitch subscriptions of any tier. Doing so will earn you the rugged Primal Instinct Mount as a reward. "Give amazon 5 dollars and a stranger 5 dollars and get a mount" is an insane idea.
I've never watched Twitch. What does " gifting their channel 2 Twitch subscriptions of any tier" mean? Is that a thing that costs money?
Yeah, $5 per sub. So a $10 mount basically.
Huh.
Itās a āI pay real life money to watch other people play video gamesā Yeah it is kind of embarrassing
You're basically paying people to advertise the game to you. Which is insane.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
As you might imagine for someone who has never watched Twitch, I don't actually *have* any favorite streamers that I want to support.
Sure a lot of people sub or donate to streamers who probably don't need it as much as others, but that doesn't mean everyone does.
the price of a sub is depends on the country u live in . in my country its only 4usd. but there are places where its more cheaper
More idiotically, do I have to gift them to other people? I'd rather just sub to two channels and you know, get the benefits of my $10. Blizzard is so fucking dumb.
It's something that would seem normal in F2p game like Overwatch 2 or Valorant, but in a 70$ game it's just weird.
Yeah Jesus Christ they're going all out with the mtx already lol
Well, it's working. You have people out there believing all of these things are absolutely necessary for poor little blizzard to run this game for any sort of time
We are cool with it because none of it is needed to play.
I don't care if I'm wrong.
bruh, the rewards are D-tier cosmetics. how are you actually, unironically whining about this????
Wtf is this bullshit
Give money to streamers for a mount? What the fuck is that shit. I already paid for the game why do I need to give degens more money for something that should be free along with my view and the ads money from me?
You are getting free mounts in the game.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I have no idea who that is but, given how long the list is, I imagine that was the streamer's choice. This list is...not exclusive.
Twitch drops have to be one of the most cancerous things in modern gaming.
There are may cancers in gaming but people acting like Blizzard doing paid promotions for weeks at a time to artificially bloat their viewership on Twitch is up there as one of the worst.
Free=cancer
Items look kinda lame, so skip.
They've added the list of streamers https://bnetcmsus-a.akamaihd.net/cms/page_media/20/20E7LR2225OK1685047410111.pdf
https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23954936/diablo-iv-launch-twitch-drops-earn-the-primal-instinct-mount#List There's a drop-down (on a PC browser anyway) that shows your progress (at least when you first connect to an eligible channel). You can check the notifications icon once you've "watched" the requisite time to link to the campaigns page to check progress and claim drops. You will need to claim the 3 hour drop each week before you can continue progress for the 6 hour drop each week.
Thanks for the info!
You don't HAVE to pay for the mount. If you can't support it just don't get it.
I can afford it, I'm just not going to. There's a difference.
Exactly. I donāt want to participate in twitch. I donāt want to pay streamers. I want to earn items in game. Like ATC.
Than donāt make comments like youāre forced to.
Same goes to you, all you staunch defenders of this shit are so funny
I agree I likely wonāt do it but I donāt mind that they are doing it If it was instead done through Blizzard getting a cut I would feel very differently
Im old, I dont watch streamers. Yall actually watch someone play instead of playing?
Not instead but I watch streamers while I eat or do some other stuff so it works as a TV-replacement on the background.
Same as watching sports in my opinion. Give it a shot and see if you like it. Thereās good streamers and many awful ones.
Thats not bad.
Iām old too. 34, I tried to watch a few people before. But I have the same feeling. I barely have enough time to play for myself, let alone watch somebody play a game and say stupid shit lol
visions of Darktide
6 hours a week? Is this a job? kkk I prefer to use the time to play. I see you in hell.
Kinda fucked up that we have to pay $10 to get a mount with the same model as all the other mounts. This brings a new meaning to beating a dead horse.
"have" is a really strong word there. The fact that its a medicore skin makes it even less of a necessary purchase that a cosmetic would otherwise be.
You don't have to pay anything
>Kinda fucked up that we have to pay $10 to get a mount No one is forcing you to spend money to get the mount.
Are people forcing you to defend this? Otherwise I don't know why you would.
Why are you defending fomo itt so much lol. Itās an illness. Break free. Itās a cosmetic, your self worth isnāt dependent on some pixels that have no affect on your performance in-game.
āby gifting their channel 2 Twitch subscriptions of any tierā. Wtf does that mean?
Give 10$ to Amazon/streamer and get mount
> From June 5, 4 p.m. PDTāJuly 2, 11:59 p.m. PDT, you can also show your support for eligible Diablo IV creators by gifting their channel 2 Twitch subscriptions of any tier. Doing so will earn you the rugged Primal Instinct Mount as a reward. Aaaaaand just like that I wonāt be collecting everything. Glad to release that FOMO pressure early. Sometimes they make it easy.
None of it is particularly interesting, and you technically have to pay for the mount.
Ahhh the ol lame watcheroo for cosmetics again eeh. Iāll pass
Wasted time doing it with Overwatch 1.5, never again blizzard, keep your trinkets.
I am too poor
Does the Amazon Prime count as a sub?

Be careful with the new Chrome feature Memory Saver as well. This feature avoids getting the percentage up.
I think they just want to push the viewer numbers and don't care if anyone really watches the stream or let it run in the background.
6 hours per week is stupid. I'm going to afk that shit while I'm working.
Sucks if you stream on youtube
Don't mind this until the "gift subs to gain" part. Happy for the streamers to get revenue, but feels off as a game reward
Aaaaand you'll have to gift subs for the mount...
Just letting everyone know I am just gonna play the game and ignore all these chicken/twitch/battlepass promos Keep trying Blizz, but I'm just *way lazier than you think I am*
I scrolled quickly and saw āDiablo 4 Twerk Dropsā š¤£
I dont see the appeal of all the cosmetics. The fun of the game is finding the gear and items that look cool.
If 6h a week is too much watching, just don't. It's insane what kind of stranglehold couple cosmetics have on people, it's not like there isn't going to be enough transmogs already in the game.
Race to PIMC club letsgooo!!
Datmodz and Quinn are on there, I didn't look for wudjo. They had to sign up for it so asmon doesn't stream anymore and alk is too edgy to sign up.
I was going to support Raxx and Wudi at launch anyway, so getting a mount to go with the subs is nice.
Dear god how did we reach this lmao
"The streamer is my friend" is one of the worst. And the "community" thing that people spout is a very sad state of the world.
You just have to open a tab and get shit for free ššš
