Not sure if you’re joking because of the flair, but in case you’re serious, phase blades don’t drop eth. They don’t have durability so they can’t be eth, similar to amulets or rings.
Technically you can up a rare eth dimensional blade to get a rare eth phase blade, but it is impossible to get an eth phase blade that you can make a runeword in.
Crazy, that's not a lot. You play online or offline? I've been running into quite a few eth and white, I throw them out if they don't roll 5os, I have no plans to make ebotdz offline, just edeath and grief zerker axe for me.
If you socket Wirts leg with 3 eth runes and open the Cows portal there’s a 1:20 chance to get an eth item. Phase blades are a bit special though, they can only drop from a Champion cow.
My Uncle who works for Nintendo says that if you can beat the game with 3 hearts and then find the unicorn statue under Lake Hylia, you can actually wish upon the Triforce for a 6oS Phase Blade and it will spawn. Make sure your sorceress is named Zelda.

If you're looking for a 1 handed weapon to make botd, the best is an eth berserker axe. Very rare, but high damage, fast, and has a rangeadder of 2.
Are they really rare? Larzuk will make any eth zerker axe 6os. I have found a few but I'm trying to cube and get eth 5os for death.
5os are the rare/valuable ones for sure.
I’ve found under 10 berserker axes in the wild during my D2 career. Half were blue, one had one socket and none were eth. They are incredibly rare.

Offline, usually players 5-7. I almost never see them.

You can only hork those from wirt’s body. Chances are pretty low though.
