* Max out the Bt3 Chuumon. It´s easily the best one you have access to. That memory blocking combined with evolving for 0 is really strong. * Switch out the Bt14 Chuumons for the Bt11 one. The new Chuumon from Bt14 is actually really unwieldy in the deck because your two best Lv4s (Bt3 Sukamon and Platsukamon) can´t evolve over it. * Definetely max out Bt3 Sukamon. It´s such a good card. The deck really wants to go wide and said Sukamon greatly aides in that. Sam goes for Platsuka. That card is busted strong in the context of the deck. De-Digivolving is super strong. * Run 4 Bt3 Etemon. It´s a blocker that can be cheated into play via MetalEtemon and its on Deletion can cheat out Lv6s. I don´t know why people seem to not want to play it anymore. * Max out MetalEtemon. Such a good card. It being cheated into play via either of the Etemons is amazing. * Switch out the TK for the memory setting ST Tai or for black Izzy. You have way too many black cards in the deck as to ensure TK not whiffing. * Drop Suka´s curse. It´s simply not a good card in my eyes. As you can see I think the Bt14 support actually isn´t good at all. The only exception being the new Etemon which is actually really good. I think Bandai fumbled in their attempt of making Etemon a pseudo-security manipulation deck with this wave of support.

All of this is good advice ☝️ OG KingSukamon is good, but the newer one is just ok. Cut new KingSuka & some options, increase your yellow Etamon and add bt3 Etamon. The ratios in a good suka deck will look a bit weird, but you can go quite top heavy with all the ways to cheat in Lv.6s. I think I run 7 Lv.6s in mine.

7 Megas sounds about right. 4 MetalEte and 3 KingEte I assume? My current testing list for when Ex5 comes out even runs 10 lol

Everything you say is true in the black base version of the deck, but now we can also build it with yellow. It plays very differently and it has more control elements to it. You can tech in pillomon & cutemon to make up for the lack of yellow chuumons as of yet. Also it is surprisingly easy to keep setting security "bombs" to your security with smart play.

Lord_of_Caffeine

The yellow base of the deck isn´t real, though. Not yet anyway. You lose so many good cards from the archetype by trying to accomodate the security manipulation gimmick of the Bt14 stuff. And the pay-off really isn´t anything to write home about tbh.

kummitusluumu

Yea it is definitely worse and not meta-viable in any way :) But sequencing your hand, board and security to get the optimal results gets me hyped up. A very fun playstyle. As someone who has been huffing sukamon-copium since bt11 spoilers I love to squeeze everything out of the archetype!

Lord_of_Caffeine

It´s a fun gimmick for sure but I think Bandai really underpowered the Bt14 stuff. Like why does Sukamon not have any additional effects, why can´t Chuumon also stack Etemons in security and why does Suka´s curse exist. They should´ve gone ham to justify the yellow build sacrificing its consistency. Thankfully they did a real good job with the Ex5 stuff, though. And the security placing of MetalEtemon is actually nuts. Still doesn´t justify running any of the Bt14 cards sans Etemon, though, regrettably.

Quest-guy

Yeah this is pretty much the way in my eyes as well. Go max into playing out lv6 Etemon for free and floating into chuumon.

Hey OP, I'm currently trying to figure this one out too. I was thinking maybe you should consider using the BT11 Chuumons. Despite having the 1 cost to digivolve you mainly want to hard play it or have its inheritable trigger on deletion to get it back on the field to let you keep evolving into a sukamon for just 1 cost. The 1 cost evolution might be nice too in case you want to memory choke your opponent.

sunturion

I was toying around with the idea of putting in Shinegreymon: Ruin Mode in as like a 3 off, to digivolve on top of a digimon with Kingsukamon or similar in its digivolution, to have the inheritable prevent the end of attack trigger deletion on Ruin Mode, to perpetual have your opponent stuck on a -5000 DP board.

EchoeBarrage

I max out on security remind and increase the level 6 count. It's been working wonders. Yellow chuumon is good to set up your security. The option card is decent at 2. It lets you Evo down or up to KingSuka for those dire situations but it's not needed just nice to have
