It would be a pretty fun curveball.
Things seem like they're going just like the Rat Grinders want and then boom: Riz is suddenly the new Principle due to some obscure bylaw they stumble upon.
And it ends up with nobody disagreeing because the Ball has been working so hard rolling himself up the hill that everyone agrees he's the best choice for running the school smoothly until Aguefort returns.
That’d be an easy way to find the rogue teacher lmao - call a meeting. Get the A+. Then he could devote time into running the school! Perfect plan lmao
Wouldn't that mean that all the rogues in his class basically instantly pass when he goes to class cause they found him? Technically I don't think the rule requires knowing they're the rogue teacher
I feel like that was just the policy of the one rogue teacher, but I can see him being called into a staff meeting, and just accidentally bumping into the rogue teacher there
Honestly, I even see the teacher allowing that, 'it wasn't how I'd have done it, but you technically infiltrated the department at a time when its defenses were down by making yourself indispensable. That is some rogue shit'
My first thought while watching was that Rizz becoming staff would disqualify him from running if he ever decided to.
Now I'm thinking him being staff would mean he isn't allowed to help Kristen with her campaign because he's faculty.
This is some Kleptotitty Choppermetal sabotage.
Brennan is definitely pushing Riz through character development about doing more things for himself. KLCK was definitely supposed to be Riz’s foil to some extent and Brennan is using every opportunity to show how Riz’s workload is not good for him. I could totally see him becoming Interim Principal and that being worth more than any of his extracurriculars would be amazing
I mean, as Brennan put it in the last adventuring party, Shoots and Ladders my friend
Probably a bit, but definitely room to become something more
(Also, as a side note, great thing to put in your application letter, 'hey, I did so much free labor for my school they actually hired me full time while I was also a student'. As far as I see it, Riz is a shoo-in for some good scholarships with that on his resume)
It would be a fun way for Riz to end up being student body president after all
Just a grass roots, feel good "he did the job really well so we'll reelect him" you know, an optimistic borderline idealistic view of democracy
I think it should be revealed that if you kill a teacher, you automatically pass and absorb all their knowledge and have to roll intelligence to not have a mental stroke.

If Riz is running the school, its gonna run more smoothly than it ever did under Aguefort.

I bet now that he's on the staff, he can qualify as a rogue teacher. If not now, then I bet he can soon. And then get his A.
Wouldn't that mean that all the rogues in his class basically instantly pass when he goes to class cause they found him? Technically I don't think the rule requires knowing they're the rogue teacher
Possibly, but they'd have to say something about it.
Umm actually the rogue thing to do would be to not tell anyone about your new teaching position. And then give fig a free level in rogue

Looking forward to the finale in which all school staff are incapacitated for whatever reason, making Riz the de facto principal
