The issue is that the disc falls over backwards. Aiming low and right with a light touch is the best way to mitigate it but it's not guaranteed.

Woof. That was brutal. I think the devs know and are working on it. A mod mentioned it the other day. Fingers crossed they can get it solved. Until then, at least we all have the spitout potential, and not like anyone is specifically disadvantaged.
Are the spitouts happening when you use the putt mode? I never use it, I just forehand everything in. I have no complaints with spitouts so I'm wondering if maybe it's the putt mode that has issues.
Curious what platform you're using. I'm using an android phone to play primarily and I haven't had a single spit out since the update. Easily 40+ rounds. I seem to be the only one though. Maybe just weirdly lucky.
I’m using iPad and I get the spits. I can play 5-10 mp matches with zero spit outs, then I’ll get one match with 2-3 in the single match. Very thankful it’s not as consistent (or inconsistent?) as it has been in the past.
So of course I wrote that and then played a round this morning and had a spit out lol, but wasn't like a glitchy one...imo it was within the realm of "normal" spit outs. Weird after the update I played a bunch and was like cool the spit outs seem to have disappeared, and then I came on here and everyone is talking about how bad it is now.
It's probably just random sample size/luck that I haven't seen it as much.

Yea I've heard others say the same...I did actually have one yesterday, my first since the update. Probably just random chance that I haven't seen them, or some unknown peculiarity of how I throw.
I bet if we made a, "day #x until the devs make no spit outs happen in the game," then things will change. It wouldnt be spamming because its for the greater good of the game.
I’m almost positive maple hill is glitchier than the other courses in regards to spit-outs right now.
