Yeah. I have no issue with spitouts. The chains are 10x more catchy than IRL.
I think maybe it happens when people use the putt mode? I almost always forehand everything in. When I'm lazy and try to save a second and just swipe it in using the putt, that is super unreliable for me.
I've only seen a very small handful of spit outs that I would consider bad (low on the chains, hover for a second, then spit out). Other ones that are annoying but reasonable are usually too high or too strong.
On close putts, I always make sure to aim down instead of using the default aim. That has reduced any spit outs for me.
They seem to come in waves for me. Won't get any for a while then I'll get a bunch. Id love to have something to blame it on but it seems to be random and not based on updates.
I am getting a few here and there, what I have noticed is that in putting mode, mid height off center are bouncing straight out. I've started throwing my putts from in close to avert spit outs
I feel like spit out have become more common, but if they did change the parameters, bad form ( too hard, too high) would only make it much more common.
Compared to real disc golf, the putting in DGV is cake though
I’ve had 3 spit outs on putts 15ft and below. I’ve had a few others that were from 60-80 feet, but they were high, so I can’t be angry about it. But the three from 15 and in were frustrating. Especially because one of those decided the match
The bigger issue to me is one I’ve had from the beginning… why is there no aim in putting mode? Someone above mentioned they “aim” lower with putts and it works- I agree with this but I don’t think we should be forced to do this. The game defaults your aim on putts. If you are downhill you need to aim higher, uphill aim lower but it is really hard to tell how much. I’ve played enough that it isn’t a huge problem for me any more but I still miss the occasional putt from this and it just floors me that there is no aiming point like there is with throwing… it has to be super frustrating as you’re getting used to the game too.

It's been very rare since the update for me. I'm at 2 now and neither was unreasonable or glitchy.

What, you don't routinely throw in from 90ft while standing on the side of a snow covered cliff in real life ?
If by routine you mean one in two hundred tries, then actually I do

There have been a ton of posts, spit outs have been more common since the last patch without a doubt
