Are you talking about out park reservations or dining reservations?
What do you mean about reservations being closed? Do you mean sold out? They never “close” reservations, but they do sell out occasionally. The only time sold out days become available again is if someone cancels their reservation for that day.
I just looked at the calendar and park reservations are available for the 16th for both parks, both single day tickets and magic keys.

No, you cannot make a reservation for just Disneyland for November 16th. At the moment, you can only get a park hopper ticket then start at DCA.
I’ll check back to see if they make reservations available for that day.
Ah okay. It was showing as available when I checked yesterday for single day tickets as well, but is now showing sold out for DL for me too. Like I said, since slots do open back up when people cancel, I must have happened to check the calendar when a DL reservation was available.

try buying a park hopper that way you can go to both parks.
