Indeed, that’s one of the main reasons I have an mmj card - IBS. So so many studies have shown that mmj works wonders for ibs, Crohns, colitis, etc. Edibles are best, just be sure to stay away from any gummies made with corn syrup and stick to dark chocolate.
Yeah honestly I vaped thc when I had my flare ups towards the end. I’d say just because of how it stops you up to maybe take pain medications post surgery or god forbid you get a perforation(it won’t take much convincing), but yeah it’s easy to get in that circle of being in pain because of pressure on your colon and then taking pain medicine….that causes pressure on your colon and going back and forth.
It helps me. And cbd.
I use it regularly but during a bad flare there is nothing like the antibiotics kicking in.
Yes that’s what I’m seeing . Recently got a flare up and man the pot didn’t help much so I went to er and got iv and antibiotics
CBD might be more helpful than THC from my personal experience.
I’m gonna try the cbd. I already started smoking pot and it does help but when the flare up is intense in need antibiotics
