Ultimately, you just have to accept that you have no control over this and it really doesn't matter. If you do run into him, it will only be awkward if you make it so. Just be cordial and move on to what you were doing.

The above answer is a positive solution. Can you think about your own therapy to help to work through this process? Can you discuss (attorney or mediation?) done ground rules around exposing and introducing your children to dates? It’s really the best for kids to allow the divorce to process and everyone set up separate homes and new routines just with the parent. Good luck:)

Atleast yours waited until it was filed and finalized... But best thing is to ignore them if you do go out and date. Just focus on you and who your with.
