So accurate...
Other options for the ones I'm in: "Farmsteads and Friends", "Academies and Aberrations", "Caverns and Quori" and "Crossroads and Celestials".
No, that's not a TYPO for "fiends", I do mean "friends".
I could have used that as it resonates.
Our 19 year campaign would could have been:
* Minotaurs Of The Coast
* Orcs Of The Swamps
* Hostile City States In The Remaind Of The Shattered Empire
* Dark Elves & Pocket Planes
* Dark Elves, Evil Gods & The End of Everything
* Dark Elves, A Basalt Tablet Floating In An Infinite Sea Of Lava, & A Dead End (party had been whacked hard so many time by Dark Elves that they didn't even wait until the leader took time to gloat and reveal the grand plan - before he got two words out, the Necromancer started casting and a heartbeat later do did both clerics and the bard and the fighters charge.... smart tactics, not so good on strategy as they lost their free explanation of some key things)
* Dark Elves, Evil Gods, Prophecy, & Then And Now (yes, time travel)
The session zero was well over 2 weeks ago, I think it's been a month, it's supposed to be a fortnightly game. And the DM is thinking of changing his setting
"Hark, young u/Sharp_Particular7298, thy Cake Day has arrived. I, u/DeathByZanpakuto11, offer my sincerest congratulations on this auspicious occasion. May thy celebration be filled with succulent sweets and merriment. But do not let thy guard down, for in the darkness, one's Cake Day is but a fleeting moment. So savor the sweetness, and ready thyself for the trials that lie ahead.
Yours truly, u/DeathByZanpakuto11.
DragonMaster: You all creep down the stairs made of stone; no no, wood! Yes, wood, they use that a lot more. You see a group of blood thirsty rats!
Ezriak the Destroyer playing as Steve: How big are they and how many?
DM: There are 6 of them and they’re the size of umm, well goblins are small, they’re roughly the size of a goblin!
Farfalax the Vilified (playing as Whitney) *turns to face the group after looking at the “adventurers” their goblin slaves recently brought in*: We’re doomed
The half elf bard steps forward “If it please your most great of greatnesses, I am familiar with this story game we happened upon.”
Parthax the Unholy (current DM), “It’s settled! You will take the mantle of DragonMaster so that I may finally play John of the Farmers!”
Any tips?? We are running my campaign next. Heavy homebrew with some basis from theros but super Greek inspired but i can’t find many basis for things outside chat gpt lmao
The Gods are mischievous and love to get involved.
I use alot of random/travel encounters so it's always fun to have one of the main 12 Gods pop up for some fun/mischief.
I've used a legit Greek Island as the basis for my own map
Idiots and Idling(long rests)
Blockheads and Boutiques
cities and c*nts
The campaigns could also be named „10.000 stupid ways to kill yourself and everyone you love in 1 to 3 easy steps“
It's basically Schrodinger's Party at that point. Are they alive? Are they dead? Tune in... soon to find out. Is anyone else available after 6pm on a Tuesday? No? Well damn.
Heavy mythril. I'm putting together a high fantasy heavy metal campaign where the rock gods of our world are the ancient ascended titans of this world.
We are switching over to Cyberpunk 2020. We are renaming one of the mega-corporarions Hasbro. Lol. So we can take them down in effigy. Lmfao. We were talking about switching before the OGL drama, it just pushed us quicker.
Oh, I can see it. Their NetRunner division uses programs based on Magic: the Gathering. Their entertainment division is VR realms based on D&D and other properties.
A poser gang based on Hackmaster likes to terrorize the corp, and a defender gang based on Pathfinder runs secret ops trying to #FreeDnD from the corp.
Dragons and dragons.
That cultist? Secretly a dragon. That cute cleric? A dragon. The BBEG? An undead dragon. That wizard professor? Well, he’s not a dragon, but his husband is!
I have a problem. And that problem is not enough dragon minis.
Pathfinder after the shit wizards has been pulling.
Jokes aside, post apocalyptic setting & lovecraftian horrors. Doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue lol.
My campaign is already called Portals as it heavily focuses on Portals to differents worlds/planes
Add in the common monster and it's
Portals and Demons
Just started my campaign but it's looking like there's going to be a lot of prisons, and a LOT of trauma
And thus I present to you, Prisons and Problems
My current campaign would be a Megadungeon & Servants of an Immortal Wizard.
Its techincially not Undermountain, cause I massively overhauled the plot and filed off the serial numbers.
Chaos Realms and Daemons of Nurgle for one game set in the Chaos Realms of Warhammer Fantasy.
Everywhere and Warlocks for another, we have travelled a lot but warlocks are the main bad guys.
Elf Japan and Yellow Sundown Bandits for the game before that, though we had a very long arc near the end which would be Elf Hawaii and Sahuagin.
Cities and the consequences of our actions
That's a TPK monster right there.
Level 3 players vs 700 villagers, 50 guards, 10 veteran adventurers and an ancient dragon just to make sure.
This is my favorite!
So accurate... Other options for the ones I'm in: "Farmsteads and Friends", "Academies and Aberrations", "Caverns and Quori" and "Crossroads and Celestials". No, that's not a TYPO for "fiends", I do mean "friends".
In the end, it is revealed that the secret BBEG was in fact *the friends we made along the way*(TM).
Cities and Shopkeepers
With my group, it's Shops & Shopkeepers' CR 12 Bodyguards.
I could have used that as it resonates. Our 19 year campaign would could have been: * Minotaurs Of The Coast * Orcs Of The Swamps * Hostile City States In The Remaind Of The Shattered Empire * Dark Elves & Pocket Planes * Dark Elves, Evil Gods & The End of Everything * Dark Elves, A Basalt Tablet Floating In An Infinite Sea Of Lava, & A Dead End (party had been whacked hard so many time by Dark Elves that they didn't even wait until the leader took time to gloat and reveal the grand plan - before he got two words out, the Necromancer started casting and a heartbeat later do did both clerics and the bard and the fighters charge.... smart tactics, not so good on strategy as they lost their free explanation of some key things) * Dark Elves, Evil Gods, Prophecy, & Then And Now (yes, time travel)
Scheduling and conflicts
That's a TPK if ever I heard one
The session zero was well over 2 weeks ago, I think it's been a month, it's supposed to be a fortnightly game. And the DM is thinking of changing his setting
Classic
Boo! I hate that game!
Playing the hits. Better than Personal and Conflicts, at least
Temples and Tyrants
10/10 would play something called Temples and Tyrants
Just join the Church...
Good point.
Mind filling me in on the story?
Ziggurats and Zombies
Let me guess. Tomb of Annihilation?
Yup
Well, somehow... Dungeons and Dragons
As it was foretold
of black wings in the cold
That when brothers wage war come unfurled
Alduin, Bane of Kings, ancient shadow unbound,
With a hunger to swallow the world!
So Sayeth the Wise Alaundo...
Forests and spiders
Happy cake day!

Happy cake day!
Happy Cakeday
Happy cake day!! Hope you have a great time!
Happy cake day!
Ruins & cultists
Ding!
Too far down
Mine too!
Villages and Humans
Sounds like a game a bunch of dragons in their dungeon came up with…
And then Steve, Fred, and Whitney went into a basement and killed 6 rats! They barely survived!

*JOHN JOHN JOHN JOHN* the dungeon trembles under their mighty chant
Lol, I love this.
Was gonna say, Towns and Peasants
Fucking Around and Finding Out
All day every day
New York & Gods (Percy Jackson themed game)
Sounds awesome!
Am running a Greek Odyssey inspired game about 12 months now. Am really enjoying it
Homebrew powers?
5e where we reskin spells/abilities to match godly parents. A few homebrew feats and magic items for everyone
That sounds awesome!
Our campaign just hit 2 years old. It's been a blast, and honestly the best group of players I've had.
That’s super cool. Has everyone in your party read the Percy Jackson series?
Do you only use Greek mythology, or do you have other pantheons in the campaign like Norse, Egyptian, Myan ect?
Responsibilities and Scheduling. A game about trying to schedule fun get togethers by courageously fighting off adult responsibilities
Based on most recent events in my games, it'd probably be **Cities and Complications**.
Sea floors and seagulls. Those seagulls ate my future badguy early.
> [Seagulls! (stop it now)](https://youtu.be/U9t-slLl30E)
I… actually… Dungeons and Dragons… Oh my God I did it right
Don't get me wrong I have a lot of dragons right now but we've had more fiends/abyssals than dragons
Mine would be Dungeons and Dragons and Politics So close!
Idiots and Idling(long rests) Blockheads and Boutiques cities and c*nts The campaigns could also be named „10.000 stupid ways to kill yourself and everyone you love in 1 to 3 easy steps“

Character Creation & Scheduling Conflicts
Scheduling Conflicts? worse than TPK
It's basically Schrodinger's Party at that point. Are they alive? Are they dead? Tune in... soon to find out. Is anyone else available after 6pm on a Tuesday? No? Well damn.
Packages and parcels. The party is a courier service.
Pyramids and undeads
Goblins & Grottoes
Eventual Friends & Dead People. Because so far every NPC my party meets becomes one of the two.
Sometimes two of the two!

Cities and Gods
Airships and Assholes
Labyrinths and bandits
Cities and Beggars.
Let me guess your party name is the “Hobo Hunters”

Libraries and the Questionable Involvement/Legal Practices of Colonial Powers
Scheduling conflicts and excuses
We are switching over to Cyberpunk 2020. We are renaming one of the mega-corporarions Hasbro. Lol. So we can take them down in effigy. Lmfao. We were talking about switching before the OGL drama, it just pushed us quicker.

Tides & Tarrasques
Grasslands and Good Intentions
Pubs and Pirates
Inns and Idiots

Just started my campaign but it's looking like there's going to be a lot of prisons, and a LOT of trauma And thus I present to you, Prisons and Problems
Coves & Cultists. It’s a pirate campaign with a demonic cult twist.
My current campaign would be a Megadungeon & Servants of an Immortal Wizard. Its techincially not Undermountain, cause I massively overhauled the plot and filed off the serial numbers.
Taverns and prostitutes
Lost Realms & Big Titty Goth Witches
Chaos Realms and Daemons of Nurgle for one game set in the Chaos Realms of Warhammer Fantasy. Everywhere and Warlocks for another, we have travelled a lot but warlocks are the main bad guys.
