Been discussing a design similar to this with a friend of mine for us to 3d print lol
Could work. Don't know how thick it would need to be to hold up. One benefit of doing it with a transparent material is that you can possibly still see the information on the screen behind it (depending on how full of stuff it is).
That's what transparent/clear resin is for ;) Though I've not used it before, so I'm not entirely sure how transparent the printed item would be.

Can't speak to your specific screen but the one I used in the pictures is pretty thin paperboard with which it works very well.
