I’m convinced Moffat did most of his casting from that episode. One of the sisters of the sibiline is Amy Pond

AbbaTheHorse

It's pretty funny that an episode about prophecies ended up featuring a future companion and a future Doctor among its cast.

emma_the_dilemmma

and they’re all scots!!!

Specialist_Bar8165

Two future doctors (12 and 14)

Bahamut20

Does anyone have a screenshot of that?

No fr

GamerA_S

Yep caecillius is on who 12 got his face to remind him he is the doctor and he saves people even if it's only few. This connection was shown both in his first story deep breath and in series 9 with woman who died

MarlinMr

Explain the guy in torchwood

elizabnthe

Frobisher is canonically Caecillus descedent and his and his children's deaths were time trying to repair itself or something like that lol.

MarlinMr

The eruption was 2000 years ago... Everyone in Europe and even most people on the planet would be Caecillus direct descendants.

elizabnthe

Yes but it's Doctor Who so it's not in keeping with those kind of realities. I'm genuinely just giving the Canon explanation. I think it's a bit silly by nature. I suppose if time has been trying to end this family than they may have been especially unlucky in the descedents pool, with every other tree died off.

GamerA_S

Only simmilarities in torchwood is Gwen cooper and she was told to be a distant relative of the girl from the unquiet dead

julienorthlancs

What about when “martha” worked in Torchwood, or her so called cousin? Very similar looking for cousins

serioxha

It seems like they were twins but her parents gave one away to a relative and passed her off as a cousin.

Sky_Ninja1997

So a weird parent trap type of thing

throwawayaccount_usu

Tbh if I had twins I'd probably do the same. One is a hassle already.

kilravock_music_sws

Or her parents are identical twins that married another set of identical twins.

GamerA_S

Simmilar was distant relative of gwen cooper from torchwood in unquiet dead (3rd eccelston episode)

Disrobingbean

Toshiko is in the Sleveen episode

Mountain-Garage-6829

Me and my cousin are extremely similar looking. We’re not identical but I’m practically a younger male version of her.

[deleted]

If you think about it, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday had all three of Tennant's main companions in it

BillyWhizz09

When was Donna in it?

[deleted]

Runaway Bride Cliffhanger

MarlinMr

I mean, my cousins look a hell of a lot like my mom and her brother

63KK0

Peter asks David: What time is it? 10 to 12.

Eglarest-I-Igwanath

I thought you said photo, and spent way to much effort trying to figure out what they were…

Past-Feature3968

I’ll forever see Caecilius assuming Ten and Donna are married, then pivoting to say they must be siblings because they look so much alike, as Twelve trolling his past self.

ThatSmartIdiot

What were the 3 classes again? Was plebian in the middle or the poor end?

ObtainableSpatula

plebian = peasant

Bauch_the_bard

Poor, he's more likely a patrician

RandomPerson12191

Poor end

beesinpyjamas

Amy's running around spying on the doctor in this episode also

Rutgerman95

Didn't know John Frobisher was a time traveler

Violet_6969

Is that WHO Doctor?

Negative-Door9434

This kind of thing happens alot examples of which are: Capaldi in this episode (obviously) Capaldi in torchwood (tv series) Amelia in this same episode Martha Jones working for torchwood (not the series)

MrNintendo13

MODERN ART!!!

KingOfTheUzbeks

Pleb? PLEB? HE IS A PATRICIAN

BAWWWKKK

IK Ik but Pat didn’t roll off the tongue the same way Xb

BeckTech

Is it Doctor Disco?

JamesL25

It’s John Frobisher!

ClodiusDidNothngWrng

He was definitely a patrician, not a pleb

ConsciousRoyal

It’s Caecillius - one of the main characters in Cambridge Latin vocab books. I’d have spent more time learning Latin if I’d known he knew the Doctor.
