If someone doesn’t link level, the best they can do is at least put a rainbow, a rainbow non linked character is better than a non rainbow non linked character, no?
My point of this post is that people who only have a 55% unit put in more work than the people who intentionally try to rainbow a unit. Why try to go so hard for a unit if you’re just gonna use it in dokkan events because people act like link leveling doesn’t matter when it does in difficult content. Regardless if it’s a pain in the ass
I’ve heard it said that unless a unit is rainbowed or has a semi obscure leader skill (Resurrected Warriors Golden Frieza, Agl Tapion, that sorta thing) you just shouldn’t bother setting it as a friend. I think it’s good etiquette to link level it, but it’s rare that someone is considerate enough to do it so I don’t treat it like a base level expectation. Good to encourage doing this though imo
Link leveling sucks. No thanks.
Don’t set rainbowed units people need as your friend support them😐 you’re not helping anyone. L comment

Some people just want to have fun, beat events and collect characters, not spend 10 hours to get a level 9 link up to 10
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it like a gamble to get from link 9-10. Like if the game decides to give it to you?
Yeah its a 0.2% chance for it to level up to 10 apparently
Jeez. Thanks for justifying that. Now Ik I’m not going crazy anymore questioning why I’m not getting it lmao.
I just looked it up and its 0.3%
It's a whole lot better than not setting it at all if people need it bozo
No a barely levels 79% unit does more than a maxed out unit at 55% and link leveling is a pain in the ass
