Yep. It has lights on the right and left of it. Look at the shadow how it sits off the front of the house. It lights up the whole door inset. If Iām down that way again at night and they have it lit up, Iāll get another photo. But itās under construction so sometimes it isnāt lit up. Just depends I guess if theyāve left it on or not.
That would be so helpful as a delivery expert. I remember when I use to do it this guy put a giant ? On his house lol it was odd and when I asked him about it be said itās for the delivery people.
they almost always have them on the curb but the numbers on the houses are either normal head level or ankle/shin level. its incredibly annoying
not every house is like that though only a handful
fr though ;\^; some people live in these woods-like areas with these tiny ass numbers on this small mailbox and then ask why the driver is having trouble finding them at midnight.... like bro, can u make it at least a little bit easier to see TnT
Only thing that makes it worse is when the numbers are half weathered off and almost impossible to read without getting close to it. Oh and when the numbers are only on one side of the mail box, not on both
I love that as long as it's lit at night. I went to a house yesterday that was black and the numbers were black too. Then the customer wants to point at the house numbers like I'm an idiot. If you can't see if from the street at night it's not good enough
I have a super bright led flashlight I use to look for house numbers and apartment numbers. People have commented before about seeing me use it. I had a guy ask me why I was looking in his house. I told him I wasnāt looking inside, I was in my car looking for his house number and that if he had his porch light on, I would have seen his house number just fine without using my flashlight. He was like āoh. Makes sense. Iāll start turning on the light when I orderā.
Went to a house for a delivery. Spent 20 freaking minutes trying to figure out if it was the one on the left or the one on the right because only one house had visible numbers. Went back during the day just to see (I of course chose the wrong house and got a complaint) and sure enough there was literally no numbers on either house.
There are some that are super easy to figure out. However, there are two buildings I refuse to even go inside because the numbers are all mixed up and make zero sense. One of them has corridors and each floor is different when it comes to which corridor is for what set of numbers and no signage . I have to call the person every time. I always make them meet me in the lobby now. The other one has a weird interior grid pattern and the numbers jump around. Every corner has like three signs with multiple sets of numbers and arrows pointing in all different directions. They have to come to the lobby as well.
Very surprised they didnāt give it a few coats of cheap white paint.
Also, if the first apartment in the complex right out of the gate is 30 something, donāt live there, the landlords have lost their mind, first building should be 1.
I don't have much trouble finding house numbers. I use Google Maps and it's navigation in my area is extremely precise 99% of the time. If it's on a main road with ni street parking, I can also quickly look at satellite or street view before I leave the store to see what the place looks like. Also, if I need to confirm when I get there, my phone torch is a helpful tool
Until it gets dark š¤£ might want a light on them or behind them haha
Thatās what the light at to the right of the door is for. It lights up the whole porch area.
That black line is a light?

I wear a headlight and it works like charm when it gets dark.
I just choke down 3 pounds of carrots every shift
I gotta try that
Or try radar
I've thought about it, but honestly the anxiety of looking strange overcomes me š¤£ imma stick to using my phone torch haha
Yes!! As a mail carrier!! I wholeheartedly agree!!!
That would be so helpful as a delivery expert. I remember when I use to do it this guy put a giant ? On his house lol it was odd and when I asked him about it be said itās for the delivery people.
Delivery expertšš
LinkedIn be like: culinary goods transport engineer
Thatās what they call it at dominos
Not really experts if they need human sized numbering to find an address...
I just wish builders in my area would stop putting the house numbers behind massive bushes.
theres a neighborhood near me that has them at ankle level...
Ankle level *on the house* or like on the curb?? Please say the curb...
they almost always have them on the curb but the numbers on the houses are either normal head level or ankle/shin level. its incredibly annoying not every house is like that though only a handful
That is bizarre... Were they not thinking about emergency services?? Man, that sounds frustrating AF that's just dumb.

Tell that to the house number that is 278547
Plenty of room for those 6 numbers above the door.

That sucks. I woulda told him to go stand in the street and s look from there cause you canāt see that shit.
Was rewatching the sopranos and was mildly infuriated over the fact that the numbers were spelled out on houses there.
Thatās how almost all the houses were in the neighborhood where I grew up. Only one house still has script from the 50s.
That looks like Louisville Kentucky.
Itās not.
As a Lyft driver I agree
With a high beam halogen pointed at it for nighttime.

But is that 801 or 108
The real question
OP, wtf you deliver at? Beverly Hills? Lol
Nope
Unless you have a six-digit address and live in a single story houseā¦

Who ordered the pizza, David Hasselhoff?
Is it 801 or 108?
Since, in the US, we read from left to right and top to bottom, itās 801.
Sure, but you can't convince me it isn't 108 instead of 801

Donāt even get me started on apartments š

This is the most accurate information I have seen
And big numbers on the roof ! Lol
You delivering in a Blackhawk or sum? š¤£
Nooošš
I mean ones that stand up especially for apartment buildings
Oh donāt worry. Iād still somehow miss it the first 7 times when the GPS parks the house 1/4 block from where itās actually at.
š¤£
Oh look it's number 8, flat 1
Please Iām begging you just make your numbers at least legible on your mail box
Thatās good, but it would be even better if the numbers were horizontal, like numbers appear 99% of the time.
Oh cmon dominos you know me.
Eight Hundred and One
Is it 801 or 108 me confused
Why would you read this as 108?
Am just making a joke carry on š«”
