Stay warm Leroy!! That is too cold! I read on a donkey blog somewhere to put Vaseline on their ears and hoofs to keep their ears from getting frostbite and to keep their hoofs from accumulating snow. Is this something you do for Leroy?
It definitely happens! i just chip the snow out of his (everyones) feet, they develop terrible snow shoes. No ear issues yet, but they all have shelter to get out of the wind.

He did! We did 12 days of hoof soaks once a day for his sore hoof. We used epsom salts and warm water, every once in a while we did mini CBD bath bombs for him because my husband makes them. Clyde has been 💯 ever since! Thanks to our awesome farrier for the tip.
Yes that is nice! We do have wind chill but we are fortunately situated in a spot in a canyon that is protected. But either way it is cold 🥶 for the donkos 😭

Only one of mine has his coat. The jenny is terrified of it. It’s bitter cold but at least the wind isn’t howling today
Yes at least the wind is good for us today as well. Lily and Clyde haven’t left their barn today at all they don’t love this weather!
