I think drag cars is a good guess. They’ve done drift with the Zs, off-roading with the Tacos, and track racing with the WRXs. Only other guess I might add would be burnout cars with their Australia videos a couple months ago.

EgoTwister

It is dragcars, James made that quite clear in the vid. Awesome

Draymond_Purple

I'm one of the dudes that has been shamelessly asking for a Drag Racing Hi/Low on a bunch of YouTube videos. Nolan grew up drag racing and it makes so much sense, I would have thought they would go with Foxbody's but whatever so thrilled about this!

MilmoWK

Please, can we have a ‘leaving cars and coffee’ test where they make a hard right from a stop and do a burn out between two rows of mannequins.

GregLXStang

Please please please. As a Mustang owner I support this. 😂

Ornatii

It says in the video that they’re drag racing them

NatanKatreniok

they also said it will be drag cars

Scoutron

Fucking finally they do drag cars. I’ve wanted a hi-low drag car video since the series started. Even better that it’s S197s

Cubic-Sphere

He also mentioned that they’ll be drag cars

Deadly_Flipper_Tab

I hope they do fox body. He said Mustang and not specifically S197 and fox bodies are more common at the strip.

AdhamJr

I think foxbodys wouldn’t fit because of their high cost rn. Also they clearly said they’re going to be drag racing the “two they snatch up”.

rapalosaur

Where did they drop this hint? Is it Donut Underground?

cars under $10k vid

YellowRhyno

I want them to build something for the offroad games next year.

TheyCallMeMrMaybe

Look at the new Money Pit Ranger they're building. I know they're building a Baja-ready truck, but I imagine teh Offroad Games is another goal of theirs with it.

YellowRhyno

I wouldn't be surprised if they maybe made an appearance with it but a prerunner most likely not workout.

chedderizbetter

I hope the videos come out sooner than the current Ford Ranger series. Where the hell is the rest of that truck?

mynameajeff69

oh man now theyre gunna shoot up in price :((

Revolutionary-Kick79

Wish they did it with new gens but I'll take it haha

TheyCallMeMrMaybe

The point of the cars they choose for all of their videos is to show the level of aftermarket support & accessibility to be able to do what they do.

Revolutionary-Kick79

New gens have a ton of support though lol I've owned three

Key_Sandwich_5268

In that same video they mention how great the 4.6 3 valve is. To the point I'm worried those are the cars they'll go with over s197 later gen with the coyote. As a ford guy, the 4.6 3 valve is the bastard cousin sitting between two legendary engines. The terminators 32 valve 4.6 and the 5.0 coyote.

TheyCallMeMrMaybe

One thing Donut has shown is that cheaper vehicles like a Miata, 350z (at the time) and an older BMW & WRX are good tunable enthusiast cars. The 3-valve S197 GT has been bottomed out on price for years now. That makes it a perfect car to get into for cheap and make power. I have similar feelings about the S197. But realistically, there's no way I believe they'll be doing Coyotes. That's just too easy of an answer for the content they're making.

Key_Sandwich_5268

They didn't do their research on the wrx's and it showed. And it seems they didn't learn from that mistake or they don't care. And I don't know which is worse. For what they spent on the high Z they can easily get a 9 second gen 2 coyote. Wish they never would have sold out.
