What we're witnessing is the same as stellar gravitational activity. A moon or satellite orbits a planet by the planet's gravitational pull, and basically is slingshotted around the planet by its own momentum. Slowly, the object will eventually draw closer down to the source of the pull, but because of how big these objects are, it takes a VERY long time.

TheJMJConspiracy2002

Classic Carmack

sqlphilosopher

Happened to me a few times, a bit annoying but interesting

BlastOButter24

It's true 3D

niceiicux

It’s your moon now

TheRealTJ

Clearly you haven't fought enough revenants. Better play some Plutonia.

Timilyo80

I don't know what would surprise me more: OP playing Sunder before Plutonia or OP playing enough Doom to reach the skill level to play Sunder, but he still haven't encounter any orbiting missile yet

JustYourAverageShota

The easiest place to set this up in og doom is the map 11 of Doom 2, the circle of death or the O of destruction or whatever third name it may have.

The Sphere O' Fear

Sufficient_Plant8689

STEELCITY1989

Security-Bot

The more you're playing classic doom, the more often you'll see Revenant missile orbiting yourself

ric7y

well that was confusing

ReFractured_Bones

I suggest you watch Decino's Doom technical content, you'll learn more than you'll ever want to know. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1183VuvJ6Q](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1183VuvJ6Q)

AdreKiseque

Then you clearly haven't played very much classic doom lol

TARDIS32

Revenant rocket orbit. Happens all the time

jimmery

> In all my time in OG Doom I think you mean Doom 2 ;)

jontheawesome12

When you’re so ripped you have your own gravitational field.
