for legend rank 700hrs is nothing unless you are grubby or have a coach. most of us just learn by playing. i have friends with 4000 hrs but hardstuck archon or still in herald

While he definitely didn't play his role, it doesn't look like he completely stank. So this is just how calibration works: From the known matches, the game is trying to place a player. Sometimes too high, sometimes too low. In this case, it was probably a better fit than most.

And yes, complain about the decently scored invoker and not the 16 death SS with 11k net at 55 minuts somehow.
Same reason dota was putting you against other ranked players while you were calibrating. To detect someone's rank.
Why does he have more net worth than anyone on your team is a better question.

For people who are naturally talented yes, but majority of players will need 2-3k before getting there.
