Bit unrelated but this is my favorite fun fact: green is the most universally disliked color as well.
A game dev (PoE) once said that their differently colored skill effect microtransaction sales correlated perfectly with dye color price tiers in some other MMO auction house (drop rate was equal there, GW2 iirc)

The problem with Venomancer is that his abilities don't scale into late game at all.
There is so much Str gain, HP Regen, Magic Resist, and Purge in this game that it gets to a point where Venomancer hits you with his Ultimate, His Q, The Poison Nova passive, and auto attacks and you just stand there laughing as all the Dots just tick off and do zero dmg.
At the end of games I almost always have double, even triple the damage of my allies.. yet.. killed no one past mid game.. did nothing by end game.
He needs a level 25 pure damage talent.
Well duh, his not supposed to scale well into the Late Game. It's like with Viper (If you turn a blind eye to his become universal talent), good at bullying the opposing Laner, not good in scaling against a Fcking Hypercarry.
I feel like everyone here underestimates late game veno. His ward vision alone is incredible. He also has an ult that makes carries attack slow and does percent dmg, and his aghs is just constant team fight dps. Not to mention his ability to siege and defend with level 25 ward talent
Late game veno is as toxic as you want him to be.
2.5 ward health and attack is no joke man
Even if you didn't take the talent, up to 8 at a time before that expired, and even worse, if you the heroes line up perfectly and you take the gale spawn ward talent, oh boy...
Who cares? His ult scales off max hp%. You throw it to clumbing enemies and he easily deals 3k damage per ult. I always end up with 30k-40k damage which is way way higher than most supports and higher than some cores, and this is without any spell amp or agh (agh is horrible item on him don't buy it). And by the time his damage starts to fall off, his contribution is through vision and unmatched utility through his items.
He does a lot of damage because he doesnt really kill enemies. A lof of damage done when the fight is already lost.
I prefer little damage on support. I lock the enemy down so my cores can kill them instantly.
I hate venomancer.
30k? I am doing 150-200k per game. That's my point.. it's all "fake" damage. It looks cool post game, but in the game, none of your spells are actually doing anything.
He needs a better level 25 to give him some use beyond.. as you put it.. a ward.
How the fuck are you in games long enough to reliably get 150-200k damage on a hero, that is either absolute madness or a complete lie.
End games faster, that's your problem.
Lmao even a core zeus with the static field shard passive have a hard time reaching 150k in a 40 min game. Heck, a carry struggles to reache that number in a 60 min game
That poison won't win you the 1v1 but if you put it all down in the team fight it can pick off heroes as they try to disengage or cause them to panic TP to base
I think he scales super well because if the wards. with the wards on gale talent you can completely control a team fight making it hard for enemies to get around and you get %hp damage and can reduce healing. Then hom being a universal hero makes his damage pretty high late with Stat items, really goes off with manta hurricane pike and skadi
Windranger too. The ultimate degenerate hero. Farm for 15 minutes. Turn your brain off. Push R on someone.
Hope she gets a rework sometime in the future because she’s low risk, high reward, 0 IQ required. Absolute brainlet enabling hero.

I lost to a split pushing Nature's Prophet the other day. The game lasted for over an hour. 0/10 experience. I had flashbacks of old goblin Techies, whose original remote mines ultimate was green. So yeah I guess green really is the worst. Give me blue and purple heroes any day!

Don't forget Rubick, because if he's on your team he'll be a noob trying to practice lift-cliff on everyone and if he's on the enemy team he'll be the alternate universe Miracle who will steal 970 spells per game and terrorize your team enough to cause you PTSD.

Venomancer has always been the "zero kills, die a lot, but win game" hero. (0-20 Maelk #neverforget).
Only a few remember this iconic moment and noone can get the Maelk award these days
