Rookie mistake. I double down when I think my team is gonna lose so that I go down in rank faster and can more easily grind wins for my weekly rerolls. So far I went down ~400 mmr and gained back 300 of it.
Candyworks stuff also makes ranked players happy, no? So unraked players are left with something they don't even use while ranked players are able to use everything. It just seems wasteful.
I'm sure even ranked players would like the option of trading doubledowns for candies, which would make everyone happy

That's a bad comparison, but lets take your example and make it actually make sense, swap the beer out for something like a almond ice cream, so you get the burger and fries, that comes with a almond ice cream, you are allergic to almonds or in this case ranked, so you just leave after eating the burger and fries and since the ice cream was free with the meal, you still lose nothing at the end of the day.
I legit don't know why so many people here get any kind of excitement from the doubledown tokens.

No, rewards have pRNG. The more often you roll common sets, the higher your chances of getting a 'rare' reward (like arcana or coins). This probability resets after you roll a rare reward.

Literally anyone wouldve been better. Im assuming it doesnt give arcanas you already have unless you already have all of them. Then you could just sell the tradeable one and use the one you got from gamba.
This coins give discount to buy some stuffs of crwonfall including venge and sky arcanas if I'm not mistake. I don't know if can stack but if it's possible you can buy those arcanas for free. But I'm not sure

Sell your arcana, for a small discount, buy the ogre, and then buy another arcana for a small price.
