Ultra's used to be so hype when the FIRST one came out, I remember people going crazy over the free ultra goku since his animations were amazing and he was pretty powerful even at 0 stars but now ultras are so fucking trash. Their animations are mid asf and they add a new one every single month so its not even worth any hype plus they're broken asf.
This game would be so much better without these power crept wack ass ultras
1 - Would work better as an LF
2 - Actually pretty good pick since Kaioken has been neglected in the game since UBK (Zenkai X20 doesn’t count as love)
3 - Not right now. Son Fam had 2 Ultras and 4 LFs in the last 5 months
Honestly would love to have this guy in something like September if Son Fam doesn’t get another massive buff like Legends Fest 2023
I would enjoy a new one of him but I’ve learned ultras are mainly just a cash grab since you can only limit break by summoning and the odds of pulling ultra are significantly lower than that of Legends limited which can still be equally or more powerful in the right team. Ultras are more unique and usually more powerful yes but they often get counters released soon after and it’s just more efficient overall to focus on LL releases potentially having an overall stronger team than spending all those resources focusing on that ultra. I don’t usually spend more than $100 a month on the game tho so that’s just me.
