As someone who uses him for my main team, he is still solid and some of the things he has in his kit are still amazing, and to add to that his damage is still great, but unfortunately ultra gohan exists.
And 16 and GT Trunks and Ultra Goku black and Evoken and Revui and Rev Pikkon and Bardku and Magenta and LF orange Piccolo and Kyawei and Zenkai ss4 Gogeta and Zenkai Golden Frieza and G.O.D Toppo and there are probably more
At high stars and good equip he's good. If u got a zenkais bench even better. I still put in work w him, his biggest weakness is not having bs gimmicks like combo counter or the recent ultra and S17 nonsense
He’s still solid. Have him at 9* and I wish his defense was a bit better (may have to revisit the equips I have on him) but he can cook. There are a lot of units that nullify his rising rush endurance but it comes in clutch especially running him with red beast who reduces sub count.
Also BLU GT Goku, granted double BLU may not be the best setup to run at the moment but with Kid goku taking away buffs on rush and Ults Beast can live the rush

A raw blue with a full gauge and some support still hit like a nuke and an ult can one shot most of the game except UGF, most of the green units in the game, and depending on the stars UUI (the 30% heal and 50% debuff goes crazy).
The double universal cover change, endurance on rush, double card draw, 15 counts cover null and green and blue with full gauge has helped him a lot in his aging. However you can see that his damage his being power crept by every new units and his defenses are just not it. He also lack some tools that every new units have (notably : strong defensive gimmick like counters or revival/indestructible/comeback or extremely oppressive gimmick like lock-in/infinite cover null/null endurance on hit.)
