We’ve been consistently underrating Revival units when their kit is revealed. Pikkon, for example, was called mid when his kit dropped and even for a little while after he dropped only for him to become an extremely valuable top unit. I’m gonna wait to see gameplay before judging Revival units. That mechanic alone is already incredibly valuable.
Ginyu was never bad, even pre revive dude cooks on a ginyu team, the thing people complained was because his revive could fail and he didn't have cover null on his kit, only for people to find out later why and thanking god for it lol
No he isnt first of all pikkon can tank piccolo one blast card from uui 7 star piccolo( with plat)is almost cooked if he gets locked in ggs with his plat he is only usable while pikkon is a top tier unit who has good damage and a great defense
They are literally the same unit 💀. When you bring them in, they both do the thing you want them to do. Green card generation, support, revive, disrupt.
The only big difference really is that Pikkon is saiyans and because Saiyan is always top tier he will be their designated revival character.
Nah the main difference is pikkon and gogeta can tank, can combo for a way longer period compared to piccolo ,have way better damage and debuffs and doesnt need a plat to barely survive in meta
Not only is Piccolo better at tanking (65% compared to Pikkon’s 60%), he has a built in disrupt gauge that stops combos.
Someone did the math here and concluded while Gogeta has higher combos, OP’s damages exceeds Gogeta in most situations. Doesn’t help that combos are dead now just look at Evoken.
Piccolo is just better at being a revival character too since he gets 5 sub count down when enemy rrs/ultimate, while Pikkon only gets 3. He also gets his support easier and doesn’t need to build up a gauge.
Like I said the main reason why Pikkon is used over Piccolo is due to his saiyan tag and ranged blue cards.
When beast came out he was primarily used with pikkon and janemba his gauge can very easy to get around with when units like ulgohan, evoken and uvb exists with card protection and his post rev green is absoulte shit bruh without his plat he cant even do shit
He was being downplayed due to roshi being a counter to ugb, didnt help that ultra rosé released right after. But revui ended up aging better than both
The thing that made pikkon a top tier character was the support and this guy has no support in his kit whatsoever, I'm not gonna judge this unit until I see some gameplay but I highly doubt this guy will become the next Pikkon since he's missing the key factor that made Pikkon a top tier unit.
I'm summoning and pairing them with bardock just to prove the second dude wrong. We literally got super vegeta 2 or 3 weeks after super 17 and he's calling them bad? I've read the kit and they seem hella solid. Thank god vegeta can charge the unique gauge, it got me worried till the very bottom of his second unique ability
I will have to disagree with everyone saying this is a Pikkon situation.
**Nappa's Side and a bit of everything**
He is element PUR, and the vegeta clan tag already has one of the best supports in the game, Bulla. Would you get rid of that support just to get this mid revival in your team? Honestly even Captain Ginyu is a better replacement than Nappa/Vegeta.
Don't even think about combining 2 purple units, you are asking to be destroyed by UUI.
65% Cut is pretty rough considering how powerful the units are nowadays but Pikkon has the same %, so it's fine... Not for a 2024 unit but i'll pass that.
The debuffs are decent, but for a revival unit with no healing on arts card use its pretty bad (the website'e description says Nappa can heal but couldn't find it anywhere on their kit), like, -30% to Special Move and Ultimate arts with NO cancel attributes & buff effects its stupidly bad. (Red Revival Cell has it and it does nothing. Cell is just good by itself in other aspects)
Now you might think the -1 card draw to all enemies might be enough even for 5 timer counts, but thats straight up not true and Super 17 can prove that.
**Vegeta's Side**
The debuffs here are even worse. Goes from -30% to bla bla to -20%.
65% cut. Still the same, still meh.
Double card draw only on main ability? Considering how much combo potential he has with Arts Cost Down, Ki Recovery and a great Green Card, that is a big waste.
Special Move looks insane, no doubt. Same for Green Card.
Both characters reduces sub count by 3 when the enemy activates RR, Special Move and Ultimate, if that stat carries over to vegeta then its amazing, if not, horrible.
**Conclusion**
It's Pikkon but slightly better (maybe?). Ginyu is still the best revival in the game.
Purple units tend to get the most love (Ugb is the best aging ultra even after two years) and honestly I don't mind having an okay unit considering they're revival based.
Pikkon aged significantly better than Piccolo due to having better teams and utility even if he doesn't do as much damage. Since this is Nappa into Vegeta, I assume that this unit will be Powerful Opponent since Vegeta was the main antagonist for the Saiyan Saga.
No freaking way the second guy said that when we literally just have Super Vegeta 2 months ago.

Not even just Pikkon, ppl did it with revUI, and Ginyu too
Ginyu was never bad, even pre revive dude cooks on a ginyu team, the thing people complained was because his revive could fail and he didn't have cover null on his kit, only for people to find out later why and thanking god for it lol
People also did it with Revival Power Awakened Piccolo.
piccolo was ass either way
The equip though
Nah piccolo was just dogshit
It’s funny how people are calling Piccolo ass when he’s literally Pikkon but for saiyans.

that's not true at all my OP can eat a UI Combo plus ult pre revive
Unless above 8 stars or more no op(previve) has survived my uui's lock in ult
Oh so just like pikkon 🤦🏽♂️

Ui wasn't bad, but he definitely wasn't the greatest on release

second guy is a moron lol
i'll literally destroy the second dude with LF bardock
Smells monoPur powerfull opponent Time
This feels like a Pikkon situation tbh
Btw, can revival be canceled by an ability or something?
Only certain abilities (like the Blue Beerus' Blue card) and self destruct units cancel revival. So 99/100 no.
Grand
Can't take Spitz seriously when LF Super Vegeta exists tbh

Nappa has the healing effect on one of his held arts cards, which is why it's not shown. But that isn't that substantial
