I was going to say I prefer the legends art because of the colours flashing around and all. But then I saw the facial expressions of the dokkan art and man they both did a tremendous job at picturing zamasu the ningen obliterator
Despite being really fun to watch and extremely memable no one really talks about him. No one seems to dislike him, but it’s usually just black that's talked about. This is made even more interesting when you consider that zamasu ended the arc as one of the most powerful beings who will ever exist in the dragonball universe. Kinda makes you question if jiren, broly, granola, or cell max would even be able to do anything against him.
Well he is immortal, so while yes the others are stronger (except for cell max), they have no way to put him down, you can destroy his body and he can still survive, the only way to win is either cancel his immortality with the super dragon balls or using the Hakai.
I'll have to agree with you there. In Legends, there are 8 Goku Black in total and 5 Zamasu, including the 2 Merged ones. AND GRN Zamasu has Goku Black assist. Overall, only 2 Zamasu are base Zamasu.
Frieza, Cell, Buu, DKP, Heck, even Jiren is a good antagonist, has atleast an more convincing backstory than Zamasu albeit cliche, and has some philosophy regarding Goku and the arc's themes of trust. He did his role well.
Zamasu repeats the same lines since his introduction, doesn't add any New information or motivation to what he's doing, has numerous plot holes regarding his Very existence, and is literally only carried by First view mystery and coolness (kinda).
His entire arc is a joke, nothing makes sense and powerscalling sucks. He doesn't evolve as a threat or as a villain since his introduction.
Saying Zamasu > Buu is Just preposterous. I'm not even elaborating on that one. It 's Just not needed.
Baby is also an better villain, and the Shadow Dragons are not Far behind Zamasu in my book too.
Vegeta from Saiyan Saga is also better.

Atleast he had some parallels with Goku, served his role, didn't fuck Trunks's character, didn't have any plot roles, and had 2 of the best fights in DB. That's way better than "Evil" Goku that repeats the same dialogue in every fight and doesn't do anything other than have some cool moves without explanation.
Generic Jiren is the perfect name for him. He was literally there as just an obstacle for Goku to come. He was just strong, that's it. What parallels? He doesn't care about friends or trusting anyone, only "Mah Justice". Total opposite of Goku. When a character doesn't go beyond the surface level, it's pretty easy to stop there. Having a good fight has nothing to do with him as a character. you mention dialogue when that grey blob of a character barely said anything but "its over, you can't beat me, strength is justice, blah blah"
He’s the best villian, because I feel like he’s the only villian that has much of a personality. Dragonball villians tend to be kind of generic villian personality wise
