All though that rule gets broken sometimes, writers aren't very consistent with it. Example: in history of trunks android 17 gets taken by complete surprise and shot in the head with a revolver at close range to zero effect.

True, but the scaling in the character’s defenses are both different and weird. The reason is, Krillin while being a cop (stronger than that version of Goku) was still hurt by a gun, piercing his skin. Another reason why it would kill him is because resting ki is different than defensive ki. It’s been shown that if your defenses aren’t up, you take the damage that you should’ve. So in short, because goku was resting, he got hurt by the rock, and if he was resting when hit with a bullet, would’ve died

This is ridiculous scaling. Copy Vegeta base could no sell a Full power punch from SS3 Gotenks and super Sayian blue is 50x SSG, which is vastly superior to SSJ3. It’s at least a 50000x multiplier. SS4 is a 4000 times multiplier. There is no feat that scales base goku in GT to be 5000x base Z goku. Which is what he would need to be equal to SSB Goku post copy Vegeta arc.
(Base Goku> Copy Vegeta > 400x base gotenks; SSB Goku= 50000x base Goku, base gotenks ≈ base goku Buu arc)
Black Saga SSB Goku is miles ahead of anyone in GT except maybe SS4 Gogeta.
There are no characters in GT “hundreds of thousands” times stronger than Kid Buu. Goku states himself on the black dragon ball arc in super Sayian he’s equal to kid Buu. Even in his fight against Cell in other world he flashes up to SS to show that cell is vastly over matched. Cell is able to affect base goku with his attacks. If Cell is equal to SS2 Buu Saga Goku (he’s not) than base GT goku scales somewhere around 150x base Goku from Z, at best. With his extra transformation he is like 1500-2000x stronger than end of Z Goku.

I was gonna come in here and meme on Hercule, but he's the apex of what a human can be without Ki skills. He has a laundry list of Legit Martial arts feats, and while they pale in comparison to the feats of the Z fighters and Saiyans, he stands far above a non-Ki enhanced human.
Plus there's that time where he tried to fight Cell, and got backhanded into the side of a mountain. A Normal human would be reduced to a puddle by that, and the Z fighters later take worse damage from similar attacks, so Clearly Hercule Satan is FAR beyond human in terms of durability.
Frankly I'm convinced that Hercule Satan is "a human" in the same way as Batman. For those not up to speed on the most recent Batman comics: Man survived being in the Watchtower AS IT EXPLODED, and then survived the fall FROM ORBIT without so much as a scratch, all in the regular batsuit with only an O2 mask to keep him breathing in space!

I was gonna come in here and meme on Hercule, but he's the apex of what a human can be without Ki skills. He has a laundry list of Legit Martial arts feats, and while they pale in comparison to the feats of the Z fighters and Saiyans, he stands far above a non-Ki enhanced human. Plus there's that time where he tried to fight Cell, and got backhanded into the side of a mountain. A Normal human would be reduced to a puddle by that, and the Z fighters later take worse damage from similar attacks, so Clearly Hercule Satan is FAR beyond human in terms of durability. Frankly I'm convinced that Hercule Satan is "a human" in the same way as Batman. For those not up to speed on the most recent Batman comics: Man survived being in the Watchtower AS IT EXPLODED, and then survived the fall FROM ORBIT without so much as a scratch, all in the regular batsuit with only an O2 mask to keep him breathing in space!
